IB Home Tutor Fees in Dubai: What The Market Charges and Why

Dubai in-home IB rates run roughly AED 180 to 500 an hour, and the gap over online is mostly travel. Here is what drives a quote, how to verify a tutor, and where the money actually goes.

Most pages that rank for this question do not answer it. Of the competitor pages we fetched and read through October 2026, three of six published no price at all, and the two that did quoted US dollars, a currency no Dubai family pays a tutor in. One agency's own frequently-asked-questions section asks what tutoring costs and then declines to say. So: IB home tutor fees in Dubai, in dirhams, with a named source behind every band. That is what this page is.

So here is the number first, and then the reasoning behind it, which is the part that actually helps you negotiate. In-home one-to-one IB tutoring in Dubai sits in a market band of roughly AED 180 to 500 per hour, travel included. Online one-to-one with a qualified subject tutor sits at roughly AED 150 to 300. Specialist IB, IGCSE and A-Level tutors run AED 200 to 450 and above, and the premium named end reaches AED 650. Those are market rates gathered from published competitor pages and from Bestimate's Tutoring Cost Dubai 2026 rate table, not our own price list, and every band below is attributed.

This article explains why the in-home band sits where it does, which six variables actually move a quote, what monthly packages hide, how to check a tutor is legally permitted to work in the UAE, and where tutoring sits against the rest of a Dubai education budget. It also states plainly, early rather than late, how IB Gram delivers to UAE families, because that is a fact a parent reading a fees page deserves before they fill in a form.

What IB Home Tutor Fees In Dubai Actually Look Like, Tier By Tier

The market has five reasonably distinct tiers, and the distance between the cheapest and the most expensive is more than tenfold. That spread is not noise; each tier is buying something different.

TierAED per hourWho publishes this rateWhat the money buys

Dubai tutoring market rates by tier, AED per hour

Two things to notice before you use that table. First, the bands overlap heavily, which means the tier label on a tutor's website tells you less than their rate does. Second, the in-home band is the widest of the five. A quote of AED 200 and a quote of AED 480 for the same Higher Level subject at the same address are both inside the market, and the difference between them is almost never explained on the website. The next section is what explains it.

If you want the structured version of these bands for your own emirate, our IB home tutor fees page for Dubai and the parallel IB home tutor fees page for Abu Dhabi hold the same rate architecture with local detail, and our breakdown of IB tutor cost in Dubai by programme level separates PYP, MYP and Diploma rates.

Why The Same Hour Costs More At Your Dining Table

The in-home premium is not a convenience surcharge invented by agencies. It is mostly arithmetic, and once you see the arithmetic you can tell a fair quote from a lazy one.

A tutor who travels to Arabian Ranches for a 5pm session is not selling you one hour. They are committing a block: the drive out, the hour, and the drive back, plus the buffer they must leave because Dubai traffic between 4pm and 7pm does not negotiate. For a tutor living in Jumeirah, that block can be two and a half hours for one paid hour. If they want to earn what a qualified online tutor earns in that same two and a half hours, the in-home rate has to be roughly double the online rate before anything else is priced in. That is the whole mystery, and it explains why the AED 180 to 500 band sits where it does relative to the AED 150 to 300 online band.

  • Drive out40 min
  • The paid hour60 min
  • Drive back40 min
  • Traffic buffer10 min

Two and a half hours of a tutor's evening, of which sixty minutes is teaching.

What you are really buying when a tutor drives to Arabian Ranches

Read the ring and the in-home premium stops looking like a surcharge: only 60 of those 150 minutes is teaching, so the rate has to carry the other 90.

Three consequences follow, and all three are negotiable in your favour if you raise them.

Longer sessions are cheaper per hour than short ones. The travel block is fixed, so a 90-minute or two-hour session spreads it across more paid time. Many Dubai tutors will not take a 45-minute in-home booking at all, and the ones who will price it brutally. If your child can sustain 90 minutes, ask for the 90-minute rate specifically rather than accepting the hourly figure multiplied by 1.5.

Distance is priced, even when nobody says so. A tutor who lives in your community and one who crosses the city will quote differently for identical teaching. This is why asking "where are you based?" is a pricing question, not small talk. It is also why area-level supply matters: our area pages for Dubai Marina and Arabian Ranches exist because what is available within a short drive genuinely differs between communities, and the subject-level versions go further still: IB maths tutors in Dubai Marina and IB home tutors in Arabian Ranches are different pools of people, not one pool described twice.

The slot you want is the slot everyone wants. Weekday 4pm to 8pm after the school run is the peak window, and in exam term it is oversubscribed. Families who can use a Saturday morning or an early evening in a quieter part of the week often get a better tutor at a better rate, simply because they are buying inventory nobody else wants. If that is your situation, start from our weekend IB tutor page for Dubai or the evening IB tutor page rather than the general listing, because the supply you want sits in the part of the week most pages ignore.

There is a fourth consequence that is not negotiable and should be weighed honestly: a travelling tutor is a single point of failure. One flat tyre, one closed road, one illness, and the session is gone. Over a two-year Diploma, the cancellation rate on in-home sessions is materially higher than on video sessions, and parents rarely price that in when comparing.

The Six Variables That Actually Move A Dubai IB Quote

Ask six tutors for a price on the same child and you will get six numbers. They are not arbitrary. These are the inputs doing the work.

Bar length ranks the table's own "how much it moves things" column. It is an ordering, not a multiplier.

How hard each variable pulls on a Dubai IB quote

Read top to bottom, that is also the order in which to argue. Nobody wins a negotiation on commitment terms after accepting a Standard Level rate for a Higher Level subject.

Programme level is where most parents underestimate. A Diploma Higher Level subject and an MYP subject are not the same product with different labels. Higher Level teaching needs a tutor who knows the command terms, the component weightings and where students lose marks in the specific paper, which is a narrower skill than general subject competence. Our IB Diploma tutoring page for Dubai and the MYP page are priced and staffed differently for exactly this reason, and a quote that does not change between the two is a signal worth questioning.

Subject scarcity is the variable that most often decides whether in-home is even possible. A parent in a quiet community looking for Higher Level Chemistry support has a reasonable local pool; the same parent looking for Higher Level Film has, in practice, a national pool rather than a neighbourhood one. That is the point at which the format question stops being about preference. Our IB Diploma Chemistry Higher Level page for Dubai covers the more common case; the thinner subjects are where online delivery stops being a compromise and becomes the only way to reach the right teacher. You can see the shape of the problem by opening three of them side by side: the IB Diploma Film tutoring page for Dubai, the IB Diploma Music tutoring page and the IB Diploma Global Politics tutoring page all describe a national pool, because within one emirate there is no neighbourhood pool to describe.

What Monthly Packages Actually Contain

Packages are how most of this market is sold, and the headline figure is comparable only if you divide it out. The monthly structures we found published in Dubai through October 2026 were around AED 799 per month for eight online sessions, and AED 1,599 to 1,799 per month for four two-hour in-home sessions. Bestimate's monthly estimates for a weekly one-hour session run AED 240 to 600 at the budget end, AED 600 to 1,200 mid-market, and AED 1,000 to 2,000 or more for a specialist in an exam year.

AED 1,000-2,000+
Published Dubai monthly package structures, October 2026

Do the division before you compare. AED 799 across eight sessions is roughly AED 100 an hour, which places it at the budget-to-mid boundary rather than in the qualified-subject-tutor band, and that is worth knowing before you assume a package is a discount on the specialist rate. AED 1,699 across eight in-home hours is about AED 212 an hour, which sits at the lower end of the in-home band and is a genuinely competitive figure for a visiting tutor.

Bar length is each figure's midpoint as a share of AED 500, the top of the published in-home band. Tags are AED per hour.

What a published package costs per hour, against the open market

That chart is the whole argument for doing the division first: the AED 799 package is not a discount on the qualified-tutor band, it is a different band.

Four questions separate a fair package from an expensive one, and none of them are usually answered on the page:

  • Do unused sessions roll over? A package that expires monthly turns a week of family travel or illness into a sunk cost. Over a Diploma year with two mid-term breaks and an exam period, this is not a marginal clause.
  • What happens if the tutor changes? Packages are bought from a provider but delivered by a person. Ask what the replacement process is, how quickly it happens, and whether the hours transfer intact.
  • Is the rate locked for the term? Rates tighten as a series approaches. A package agreed in the autumn at a non-exam-term rate is worth more than the same package agreed in the spring.
  • Is VAT included in the figure quoted? Ask whether the number you have been given is what will be charged. We will not state the UAE VAT treatment of tuition as a general rule, because that needs a Federal Tax Authority citation rather than an opinion, but you are entitled to know whether a quoted AED figure is the final one.

How Dubai Families Actually Choose Between Home And Online

The decision is usually made on grounds nobody writes about, so here is what it genuinely turns on.

Age is the strongest predictor. Below about 11, a person in the room is often worth the premium, because attention management is most of the job and a screen competes poorly with a younger child's environment. Through MYP and the Diploma, the balance shifts: a 16-year-old working on a Higher Level problem set with a screen-shared worked solution and an annotated past paper loses very little to distance, and gains access to a far wider pool of specialists.

Subject scarcity overrides preference. Once the subject is thin enough, in-home stops being an option that costs more and becomes an option that does not exist locally. Families who insist on in-home for a scarce Higher Level subject usually end up with a generalist who is physically present rather than a specialist who is not, which is a worse trade than it looks.

Logistics compound across a two-year course. One in-home session a week is pleasant. Three a week across three subjects, in the 4pm to 8pm window, with a school run and a sibling's activities already in the calendar, is a scheduling problem that tends to resolve itself by sessions quietly being skipped.

Household privacy is a real consideration and rarely discussed. An in-home tutor is a recurring visitor in a family's living space. Some families find that straightforwardly fine. Others find after a term that it is not, and a session on video resolves it without a negotiation.

Note which way the top two rows point. The format question is not settled once per family; it is settled once per child, per age, and the answer flips somewhere around the start of MYP.

We have written the full side-by-side comparison, including what in-home genuinely does better, in our article on home versus online IB tutoring in Dubai. If your child is on the British track rather than the IB, the equivalent rate analysis is in IGCSE tutor fees in Dubai, where the per-subject arithmetic works out quite differently.

Is The Tutor You Are About To Hire Legally Permitted To Teach?

This is the most expensive thing on this page that costs nothing to check, and almost no competing fees page mentions it.

Private tutoring in the UAE is regulated by permit. The MoHRE private tutor work permit was introduced by Ministerial Resolution No. 710 of 2023 Regarding the Introduction of Private Tuition Work Permits. The permit is granted free of charge for two years, and u.ae lists eligible applicants as including teachers registered in government or private schools, employees in the government and private sectors, unemployed individuals, school students aged 15 to 18, and university students. MoHRE's own service, "Issuance of a New Work Permit - Private Tutor Licensing", lists no fees and a two-working-day completion time, applied for through the MoHRE smart app, website and e-services system.

Those four numbers are the whole reason the check is worth making: nothing about this permit is burdensome enough to excuse not holding one.

So if a tutor tells you the permit is expensive, slow, or optional, every part of that is wrong. It is free, it takes two working days, and u.ae states that individuals offering private tutoring without a permit from MoHRE are subject to fines and penalties outlined in the applicable laws. We will not quote a fine amount, because no fine schedule has been published and a figure circulating online could not be verified against any official source.

Neither permit is a quality mark; both are a legality check. A provider that blurs the two is telling you something.

The permit question has a longer answer than a fees page can carry, so we have set it out in full in the UAE private tutor work permit explained.

There is a second rule that catches a specific and tempting arrangement. ADEK's professional-ethics rules for private and charter school staff in Abu Dhabi prohibit teachers from providing paid private tutoring to students enrolled at their own school, and teachers tutoring outside school hours must hold the MoHRE private tuition work permit, whose code of conduct also bars serving students affiliated with their own school. This has been press-reported rather than read by us in the current ADEK policy document, so verify the exact wording before relying on it, but the direction is unambiguous: "your child's own teacher, privately" is not an arrangement to pursue.

For the Dubai-specific regulatory picture, including what KHDA does and does not govern in private tutoring, we have a dedicated article on KHDA rules for private tutors in Dubai.

What To Settle Before You Pay Anything

1The permitAsk to see the MoHRE private tuition work permit; it is free and takes two working days, so there is no excuse for not holding one
2The exact courseNot "IB Maths" but Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation, at Higher or Standard Level; the courses have different papers
3The coursework boundaryConfirm in writing that the tutor teaches and gives feedback on the student's own work, and does not write Internal Assessments, the Extended Essay or Theory of Knowledge essays
4The cancellation termsNotice period on both sides, what happens to a missed session, and whether unused package hours expire
5The review pointAgree a date, usually six to eight weeks in, to decide whether this is working, before a term of fees has gone
Before the first invoice, settle these five things

The coursework boundary deserves emphasis because the breach is actively marketed in this region. One operator we found during research sells completed Internal Assessments at AED 3,750. Buying one is academic malpractice under IB rules, the consequence falls on the student rather than the seller, and it can end a Diploma. A legitimate tutor explains the assessment criteria, interrogates a research question, and gives feedback on a draft the student wrote. That boundary is written into how we describe the work on the IB Internal Assessment tutoring page for Dubai, the Extended Essay tutoring page and the Theory of Knowledge tutoring page, because those three are where the temptation to buy rather than learn is strongest. If the offer is to produce the work, the price is irrelevant.

Two more checks that save money later. Ask what a replacement looks like if the tutor-student fit is wrong, because fit failures are common and the honest providers have a process rather than a refusal. And be sceptical of two claims in particular: a guaranteed grade, which nobody can deliver and which should not appear in a contract, and "examiner" status presented without evidence. We do not describe tutors as IB or Cambridge examiners unless current status can be shown, and you should not pay a premium for a claim you cannot verify.

Where Tutoring Sits Against The Rest Of A Dubai Education Budget

Tutoring reads as expensive in isolation and differently in context, and the context changed recently in a way that matters.

KHDA confirmed on 22 May 2026 that there would be "no increase in school fees for private schools in the emirate for the 2026-27 academic year", under Dubai's second economic incentives package valued at AED 1.5 billion within a AED 2.5 billion total. For a family already enrolled, that makes the largest line in the education budget flat and predictable. Tutoring becomes the variable line, which is an argument for deciding it deliberately at the start of a year rather than reactively after a disappointing report, when both price and availability are worse.

Monthly spend for one hour a week, climbing the tiers

The curve steepens rather than rising evenly, and that is the budgeting point: the step from mid-market to an exam-year specialist costs more than the step from budget to mid-market did.

Set against that, remember what the largest line is doing. For a family already enrolled at a Dubai private school, fees are flat for 2026-27 and tutoring is the only education line that can run away, which is an argument for setting it at the start of the year and reviewing it a term in rather than discovering it in the spring. If you are choosing between providers at the top of that ladder, our best IB tutor page for Dubai and the national IB home tutor fees page for the UAE set out what the premium is supposed to buy.

What A Two-Year Diploma Plan Costs If You Budget It Honestly

Most families budget tutoring as a monthly figure and are then surprised by the total, because the spend is not flat across two years. It has a shape.

  1. DP1 term oneLightest. Subject choices are settling and the content is new; one subject at one session a week is often enough
  2. DP1 terms two and threeRising. Higher Level content accelerates and the first Internal Assessment planning starts
  3. DP1 into DP2 summerA choice point. A short, concentrated block here is usually cheaper than remediation later
  4. DP2 term oneThe peak. Internal Assessment drafts, the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge deadlines collide
  5. DP2 before the exam seriesHigh but narrowing. Spend shifts from content teaching to paper technique on specific components
  6. After the seriesZero for most families, or re-entry planning for the minority taking a resit route
Where the spend actually falls across the Diploma

That shape has a budgeting implication worth more than any hourly rate negotiation: the expensive term is not the final one. The coursework collision in the first term of DP2 is where families who have not planned ahead end up buying emergency hours at exam-term prices. Booking a modest block in advance for that window is cheaper than buying it urgently, and the tutors worth having are booked by then.

One honest caveat on the resit line. The Diploma's retake route and the Cambridge and Pearson resit routes are not comparable and should not be budgeted together. For Cambridge candidates in the UAE the November series functions as the resit route after June. For the IB, confirm the retake rules and timing with your school's coordinator rather than from any website, including this one. What each route costs to support is set out separately on our IB retake tutoring page for Dubai and the IGCSE resit tutoring page for Dubai, and the paper-technique work that precedes either sits on the IB exam preparation page for Dubai.

How IB Gram Delivers To Dubai Families, Stated Plainly

We have given you the in-home market honestly because you asked a question about it, and you should be able to act on the answer whether or not you use us. Here is our side of it, without softening.

For families in Dubai and everywhere else in the UAE, our tutoring is online, one-to-one, over live video. We do not send tutors to homes anywhere in the UAE. Visiting in-home tutors are an India-only service for us. If an in-home tutor at your Dubai address is a firm requirement, we are not the right provider for that requirement, and the sections above on rate bands, permit verification and contract terms are written so that you can hire well without us.

What online one-to-one does buy, and why we built UAE delivery this way rather than as a cheaper substitute for visiting:

  • The search is not restricted to one commute. A Higher Level specialist in a thin subject is a national-scale search, not a neighbourhood one. Restricting it to tutors who can drive to your community on a particular evening is the fastest way to end up with a generalist.
  • The session happens. No traffic, no closed road, no cancelled hour because a tutor is stuck on Sheikh Zayed Road at 5:40pm. Over two years that reliability is worth more than most families expect.
  • You keep the slot you actually want. Peak in-home inventory is the 4pm to 8pm weekday window and it is contested. Video opens up earlier evenings and weekend mornings without a travel penalty.
  • The work is visible and reviewable. Screen-shared past papers, annotated worked solutions and a saved record of what was covered make it much easier to tell whether the hours are doing anything.

What we will not claim. We hold no KHDA, ADEK, SPEA, Ministry of Education, Cambridge or Pearson approval, accreditation or partnership, and we do not describe our tutors as approved by any of them. We do not guarantee grades. We do not publish a tutor count, a satisfaction percentage or a star rating we cannot evidence with real, countable, attributable reviews. And we do not write coursework. That is our position, signed rather than left in a footer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an IB home tutor cost per hour in Dubai?

In-home one-to-one IB tutoring in Dubai sits in a market band of roughly AED 180 to 500 per hour including travel, based on Bestimate's Tutoring Cost Dubai 2026 table at AED 180 to 350 and independent home tutors advertising AED 200 to 500. Specialist IB tutors run AED 200 to 450 and above, and the premium named end reaches AED 650, as published by BartyED. Those are market rates read from providers' own pages in October 2026, not IB Gram's prices. A quote of AED 200 and one of AED 480 for the same subject are both inside the market.

Why is in-home tutoring in Dubai roughly double the online rate?

Because you are buying a block, not an hour. A tutor travelling across Dubai for a 5pm session commits the drive out, the lesson, the drive back and a traffic buffer, which can be two and a half hours of their day for one paid hour. To earn what an online tutor earns in that same window, the in-home rate has to be roughly double before anything else is priced in. That is why the in-home band of AED 180 to 500 sits above the qualified online band of AED 150 to 300, and why longer sessions cost less per hour.

Is an AED 799 monthly package good value?

Divide before you judge it. AED 799 for eight online sessions is roughly AED 100 an hour, which places it at the budget-to-mid boundary rather than in the AED 150 to 300 qualified-subject-tutor band. That can be entirely appropriate for homework supervision or content review, and under-powered for Diploma Higher Level work or coursework support. Before signing, confirm whether unused sessions roll over, what happens if the tutor changes, whether the rate is locked for the term, and whether the figure quoted is the final charge.

Does a private tutor in Dubai need a licence?

Yes. The MoHRE private tutor work permit was introduced by Ministerial Resolution No. 710 of 2023, and u.ae states that individuals offering private tutoring without a permit from MoHRE are subject to fines and penalties outlined in the applicable laws. The permit is granted free of charge for two years, and MoHRE's own service page lists no fees and a two-working-day completion time via its smart app, website and e-services system. Ask to see it. No fine schedule has been published, so treat any specific amount quoted online as unverified.

Can I hire my child's own schoolteacher as a private tutor?

In Abu Dhabi, no. ADEK's professional-ethics rules for private and charter school staff prohibit teachers from providing paid private tutoring to students enrolled at their own school, and the MoHRE private tuition work permit carries a code of conduct that also bars serving students affiliated with the tutor's own school. This has been press-reported rather than read by us in the current ADEK policy document, so verify the exact wording before relying on it, but the direction is clear enough that the arrangement should not be pursued. A teacher from a different school, holding the permit, is a different situation.

Does IB Gram send tutors to homes in Dubai?

No. For families in Dubai and everywhere else in the UAE, our tutoring is online and one-to-one over live video. In-home visiting tutors are an India-only service for us, and we state that on a fees page rather than after an enquiry. If an in-home tutor at your Dubai address is a firm requirement, we are not the right provider for it, and this article is written so you can hire well without us: check the MoHRE permit, confirm the exact course and level, settle the coursework boundary in writing, and agree cancellation terms before the first invoice.

What is the cheapest sensible way to get IB support in Dubai?

The cheapest sensible option is usually a qualified subject tutor online in the AED 150 to 300 band, in 90-minute sessions, booked as a term block rather than ad hoc. That combination cuts the three things that inflate a bill: the travel premium, the short-session penalty and the ad hoc surcharge. Budget tiers from AED 45 an hour exist and are genuinely useful for homework supervision and content review, but they are not where Higher Level depth or coursework feedback lives, and buying them for that purpose costs more in the end. Our online IB tuition page for Dubai describes that AED 150 to 300 band in detail, and the IGCSE home tutor fees page for Dubai carries the same arithmetic for the British track.

Which IB subjects cost the most to tutor in Dubai?

Rate follows scarcity rather than difficulty. Maths, English and the three main sciences have the deepest tutor pool and therefore the most competitive pricing. Film, Music, Theatre, Global Politics, Computer Science, Philosophy and Arabic A are thin, and a thin subject quoted at the top of the specialist band is simply what scarcity costs. Level matters as much as subject: Higher Level with coursework supervision needs a tutor who knows the component weightings and command terms, which is narrower than general subject competence and priced accordingly.

Can a tutor help with my child's Internal Assessment?

A tutor can teach the subject, explain the assessment criteria, question the research plan and give feedback on a draft the student has written. A tutor cannot write it, co-write it or edit it to completion. That is what IB academic-honesty rules require, and the consequence of a breach falls on the student, up to a malpractice finding. One operator in this market openly sells completed Internal Assessments at AED 3,750; buying one puts a Diploma at risk. Get the boundary confirmed in writing before the first session, and if a tutor offers to produce the work, stop there.

When should we start tutoring to keep the cost down?

Earlier and lighter beats later and heavier, and the shape of the two-year spend explains why. The expensive term is not the final one: it is the first term of DP2, when Internal Assessment drafts, the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge deadlines collide, and families who have not planned buy emergency hours at exam-term prices from whoever is left. A modest block booked in advance for that window costs less than the same hours bought urgently, and the tutors worth having are already committed by then.

Are tutoring fees in Dubai going up for 2026-27?

School fees are not; tutoring is a separate market. KHDA confirmed on 22 May 2026 that there would be no increase in private school fees in the emirate for the 2026-27 academic year, under Dubai's second economic incentives package valued at AED 1.5 billion within a AED 2.5 billion total. Tutoring is unregulated on price and moves with demand, which tightens as an exam series approaches. The practical read is that your largest education line is flat and predictable, so the tutoring line is the one worth planning deliberately at the start of a year.

How do I check whether a Dubai tuition centre is properly permitted?

A centre with premises and staff is a different legal animal from an individual tutor. It needs a KHDA Educational Services Permit for a training institute, which starts with initial approval, allows a maximum of six months to complete the permit and licence steps, and is renewed annually with the request made at least 30 days before expiry. Ask for the permit number and check it with KHDA rather than accepting a logo on a website. An individual tutor holds a MoHRE permit instead, and neither permit makes a provider "KHDA approved" in any broader sense.

Should I pay more for an examiner-trained tutor?

Only if the status can be evidenced, and only for what it actually buys. Examiner background can mean a tutor reads mark schemes fluently and knows where candidates lose marks, which is genuinely valuable in the term before papers. It does not give anyone access to marking, grade boundaries or unseen paper content, and claims implying otherwise should end the conversation. We do not describe tutors as IB or Cambridge examiners unless current status can be shown, and the premium end of the Dubai market at AED 500 to 650 an hour is paying substantially for reputation and scarcity.

What should a fair Dubai tutoring contract include?

Five things, all of which are usually missing from a website and easy to agree by message. The exact course and level, written out, so that "IB Maths" becomes Analysis and Approaches Higher Level or whatever it truly is. The coursework boundary, confirming teaching and feedback rather than production. The notice period on both sides and what happens to a missed session. Whether unused package hours expire. And a review date six to eight weeks in, so a poor fit is caught before a term of fees has gone. Nothing in it should guarantee a grade.
