Home tutoring is offered only in India, and only where a suitable tutor currently has in-person space near you — availability is realistic in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida and South Delhi, and it changes as tutors' own schedules fill. Outside India it is online only, with no exceptions and no centre to visit. If nothing is free near you, you will be told directly rather than left waiting on a possibility.

We live outside India. How do the timings work?+

Tutors are based in India, and sessions are scheduled in your own local time rather than Indian time. Families across the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, East and West Africa, the UK and Europe are commonly fitted in by working across the offset, so an early or late slot in India often lands in convenient after-school hours where you are. Send your city and time zone with your first message and a specific weekly slot will be proposed in your local hours. Outside India, all tutoring is online.

Will a tutor help with school assignments and coursework?+

A tutor will explain the topic, mark the student's own attempt and coach them through what went wrong. A tutor will not write, complete or co-author assignments, project work or anything that will be assessed, and will say so if asked. The same line applies to any write-up connected with practical work: the tutor can discuss what the data shows and how to structure an explanation, but the words and the conclusions have to be the student's own. This is not a technicality, it is what makes the help worth anything at the exam.

How many sessions a week does Physical Science need?+

One well-used session a week is a reasonable baseline in Grade 9 and Grade 10, assuming the student does the practice set between sessions. Two a week is common in Grade 11, or when one half of the course has fallen a long way behind — often split as one teaching session and one paper-marking session, with the time weighted towards the weaker discipline until the marked evidence says otherwise. Beyond two, the limiting factor is usually independent practice rather than contact hours, and a tutor should tell you that instead of selling extra slots.

Is IB Gram affiliated with Cambridge International or Pearson Edexcel?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutoring platform, not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, Oxford AQA or the IB Organization. Syllabus codes such as 0652 are named only to describe accurately what tutoring covers, and the awarding bodies remain the only authority on syllabus content, tier entry, assessment arrangements and withdrawal dates. Anything on this page that affects a decision — particularly the final examination series for 0652 — should be confirmed with your school or with the board before you act on it.
