IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Sundarnagar

For a student in Sundarnagar who needs private tuition from home in an IB or IGCSE subject, we offer one-to-one online home tuition: a live lesson on a laptop, with a tutor who teaches that exact syllabus. Tutors do not come to houses in Sundarnagar or anywhere else in Mandi district; home visits run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Lessons are timed around the Himachal school year, the monsoon months when the highway to Chandigarh is unreliable, and the exam series your child is really entered for.

  • Matching starts from the programme, board and level your child sits, not from a general subject label
  • No tutor arrives at a Sundarnagar door; this is a laptop-and-headphones service, openly described as such
  • A full trial lesson comes first, so the decision is made after seeing a tutor teach
  • Run independently of every school, board and examining body named on this page

IB & IGCSE in Sundarnagar

What private IB and IGCSE tuition means for a family in Sundarnagar

Sundarnagar sits on the old Suket state's former capital site, in Mandi district, on the highway that carries traffic between Bilaspur and Mandi. Most of its families raise children in Himachal Board or CBSE classrooms, and that is reasonable: the schools and the teachers are close by. Yet some households here are looking beyond that, because a parent works for the hydroelectric project or a bank, because a relative lives abroad, or because a child has set eyes on a university overseas.

For those households, the practical difficulty is that private tuition from home for the IB or IGCSE barely exists in town. A mathematics teacher who coaches Class 12 board students knows the NCERT book thoroughly, yet may never have seen an IB Analysis and Approaches paper or an Edexcel mark scheme. Our work fills that specific gap: a tutor who has recently taught the IB or the IGCSE, joining a student over a live video link, one to one, in the evening hours after school.

Because we are being plain about delivery, here it is once more. This is online home tuition: the student sits at home in Sundarnagar, Ner Chowk or the BSL colony, and the lesson arrives through a screen. No tutor visits houses in this part of Himachal, since home visits are offered only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. The benefit is that your child can learn from a specialist in a different city without a single hour of travel on the mountain road.

We are not connected to the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel or any school. Tutors teach, explain, set practice and mark it. They never write an Internal Assessment, an Extended Essay, a TOK essay or coursework for a student. Ideas, drafts and the final voice remain the child's own, with a tutor asking the hard questions on the way.

At a glance

  • IB PYP, MYP and Diploma support across the main subject groups
  • Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, Core or Extended, Foundation or Higher
  • Live private lessons on a laptop, scheduled on IST
  • A free trial lesson and a short written note after each session
  • No home visits in Sundarnagar; those exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Sundarnagar school years

A Sundarnagar child almost always starts in a Himachal Board or CBSE school, so the IB or IGCSE usually enters the picture at a hinge point: a parent's transfer, a plan to apply abroad, or a decision to board in a bigger city. Each programme asks something different of a tutor, and the notes below say what.

PYPAges 3-12

IB Primary Years Programme

PYP organises learning around transdisciplinary themes rather than separate periods for each subject, and it ends with a student-led Exhibition. Nothing external is marked, so tutoring is about habits: reading with understanding, number sense, and a child's willingness to ask why before accepting an answer.

We know of no PYP school in Sundarnagar. The enquiries that reach us come from families about to relocate, or returning from abroad, who want a child to keep the inquiry style of learning while settling into a Himachal routine.

MYPAges 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Teachers in the MYP grade each subject against four criteria, and students finish with a Personal Project in the last year. Many pupils can state what they did; fewer can show how their work meets a descriptor, and that translation is what a tutor practises with them.

Because the MYP is not taught in town, help here tends to be for a child on a boarding seat elsewhere, or newly arrived from an IB school, who needs to stay on track while Sundarnagar's winter evenings and holiday visits home reshape the week.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

Students choose six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard, and add Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS. Internal Assessments are woven into each course. The written papers arrive in the May session for most schools in the Indian subcontinent.

Diploma students linked to Sundarnagar usually learn at a school in another city. Their most frequent requests are Maths at Higher Level, Physics and Chemistry for engineering ambitions that start with IIT Mandi's neighbourhood in mind, and English A.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

The CP pairs a small number of Diploma Programme courses with a career-related study, a personal and professional skills component and a reflective project. Few schools in India offer it, so a family usually meets it only after a school has been chosen.

No school in or near Sundarnagar offers CP, and the number of Indian schools that do is small. Where a family does enrol, tutoring concentrates on the Diploma courses within it and on structuring the reflective project.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Two students in the same IB school can need very different lessons if one takes Maths Analysis and Approaches and the other Applications and Interpretation, which is why we confirm course, level and exam session before anything else. For Sundarnagar students, who almost always study away from home or in a mixed arrangement, that clarity saves weeks.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Proof-style reasoning, calculus technique and Paper 3 style investigations form the heavy part of the course; steady weekly work on unfamiliar questions beats a last-minute formula sheet.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Modelling, statistics and the graphic display calculator drive this syllabus. The exploration needs a topic with real data, chosen in good time and reworked at least once before submission.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, waves, fields and modern physics are tested through data-handling and extended-response questions, while the internal investigation depends on a method another person could repeat.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Energetics, equilibrium, kinetics and organic reaction pathways recur across the papers, and fluent use of the data booklet saves minutes in every single sitting.

IB Biology

HL / SL

From cell biology to ecology, answers earn marks when they match the command term exactly, and the experimental write-up needs a statistical treatment that actually supports the claim.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Neat, correctly labelled diagrams and real-world examples score well, and HL students prepare separately for the policy-evaluation paper that standard level does not sit.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case-study papers reward theory applied to the organisation described, and the internal component works best when it follows a live decision at a real business.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Close reading of unseen texts, a comparative essay and a spoken commentary each need separate practice, and a tutor can mark the writing against the published criteria.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Algorithms, data structures and object-oriented thinking are examined on paper, while the internal project must run and be documented to the standard the criteria describe.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Each approach to behaviour is learned through named studies, and the extended response is graded on structure and critical evaluation as much as on recall.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL / HL

A mountain state gives students a natural supply of local examples, from hydroelectric reservoirs to deforestation, though the exam wants evaluation of systems rather than description.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Fieldwork-style enquiry and case studies drawn from named places carry the marks; Himalayan hazard examples are useful when the question allows them.

IB History

HL / SL

Source analysis in Paper 1 and a sustained, argued essay in Paper 2 are the two skills, and both improve with timed practice and honest feedback.

IB Hindi B

SL / HL

Reading comprehension, accurate text types and relaxed spoken fluency are the core tasks, and Sundarnagar students tend to bring natural confidence in Hindi and Pahari speech.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP Core

The exhibition and the prescribed-title essay both reward a student who has argued a position aloud, from more than one side, before ever writing it down.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

A Cambridge 0580 paper and an Edexcel 4MA1 paper are different examinations with different mark schemes, so board, subject code and tier are fixed first. Then we count back from the session your child is entered for, whether Cambridge's May-June or October-November series or Edexcel's January and May-June windows.

IGCSE Mathematics

Core / Extended

Core is capped at a lower grade ceiling, so the tier decision matters early; Extended students need algebraic fluency and clean written method on multi-step problems.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics

Extended

A bridge towards A Level and IB Maths HL, with calculus and functions introduced faster than the standard IGCSE course allows.

IGCSE Physics

Core / Extended

Formula recall is only half the battle; students also lose marks on practical-skill questions and on unit handling.

IGCSE Chemistry

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, the reactivity series and qualitative analysis recur on every paper, and a tutor can drill all three until they become routine.

IGCSE Biology

Core / Extended

Definitions need to be exact, and practical-based papers expect students to plan and evaluate experiments rather than recall them.

IGCSE Combined Science

Core / Extended

Three sciences compressed into a double-award course, which demands efficient revision planning across topics that arrive in quick succession.

IGCSE English as a Second Language

Core / Extended

Reading, writing and listening are each marked separately; we help students move from correct sentences to controlled, purposeful writing.

IGCSE English First Language

Core / Extended

Directed writing and a composition paper test voice and structure, so students benefit from sustained feedback on drafts.

IGCSE Computer Science

Core / Extended

Pseudocode, trace tables and a programming paper reward students who write and run real code between lessons.

IGCSE Economics

Core / Extended

Short definitions, data response and clear analytical chains reward concise, structured writing.

IGCSE Business Studies

Core / Extended

Case-study questions need the concept applied to the business in the stem instead of generic textbook paragraphs.

IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language

Core / Extended

Where a school offers it, the paper rewards accurate grammar, a measured register and confident short-form writing.

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Sundarnagar

IB and IGCSE schools and families around Sundarnagar

Nobody in Sundarnagar should be told that an IB school is around the corner, because as far as we could confirm none is. The town's schooling runs through the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education and CBSE, supported by a few private schools and the government colleges nearby. That is a respectable, well-understood system, and most of the town sits inside it happily.

The IB and IGCSE come in through different doors. One is the transferable job: the project townships, banks, insurance offices and government departments see staff posted in and out, and a child who began in an international curriculum elsewhere may need to carry on with it. Another is the returnee, a family back from the Gulf, the UK or Canada whose child is partway through an IGCSE or MYP course.

A third door is ambition. A student at a Sundarnagar school who wants to read engineering or economics abroad sometimes decides to move to an IB or Cambridge school in Chandigarh or Mohali, or to a boarding school in Dehradun or Mussoorie. Choosing such a school usually means leaving home at fourteen or sixteen, which is why parents want a tutor available during the transition and during holidays back home.

Whichever door a family has used, the common thread is that nothing local is waiting. That is why this page does not list schools in the town: we do not name an institution unless we can confirm it offers the IB or Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE. The clusters further down are labelled as nearby cities, and the choice of school remains entirely the family's.

How does IB or IGCSE compare with Himachal Board and CBSE?

The Himachal Board and CBSE reward knowing a defined textbook well and reproducing it clearly; IB and IGCSE reward applying ideas to unfamiliar material, in paper after paper. A student with strong marks in Class 10 does not therefore automatically find IGCSE easy, because the questions ask for explanation and evaluation where the board paper often asks for recall.

The grading differs too. CBSE reports marks out of a hundred and a percentage; the IB reports grades from 1 to 7 per subject and a total out of 45 including core points; the IGCSE reports letter grades or numeric 9 to 1 depending on the board. A parent comparing a Class 12 percentage with an IB score needs the bridging rules, which the university pathways section covers.

Teaching style differs as well. Himachal and CBSE classrooms in a town like Sundarnagar can have large sections and a fixed syllabus pace. IB and IGCSE courses expect written investigations, orals and practical write-ups through the year, and a tutor helps most by watching a student work through these tasks rather than by delivering more content.

None of this makes one route universally better. It makes them different, and families should choose according to the destination: Indian engineering and medical entrance, or applications abroad, or a mix. We explain each path honestly and do not push families to switch boards.

What shapes the fee for IB and IGCSE tuition in Sundarnagar?

The short answer is that the rate depends on the tutor's experience with your child's exact course, the number of sessions per week and whether the lesson is private or shared. We do not publish prices, because a single figure would be wrong for most families. A written quote arrives before booking, and the trial lesson costs nothing.

Level matters first. An IB Physics HL tutor who has taught several full cohorts and examined internal assessments commands a different rate from a tutor supporting Class 8 MYP Mathematics. Scarcity plays a part too: a subject like IB Computer Science HL has fewer qualified tutors than IGCSE Mathematics, and that is reflected in what a family is quoted.

Frequency and duration come next. Two sessions a week through the school year cost more in total than one, though many students find two the right rhythm in the build-up to a deadline. Exam-season intensives are priced as short blocks. Small groups lower the cost per child, provided the group shares board, tier and session.

Because Sundarnagar families do not travel to a centre, a few usual costs vanish: no petrol on the Mandi road, no hostel stay in another town for the sake of coaching, no missed school. What remains is the lesson fee itself, which is why we put every quote in writing before a family commits.

04

Online tuition, local coaching, village tutors or self-study: which suits a Sundarnagar student?

Local coaching in and around Sundarnagar is strong for what it targets: board examinations, and entrance tests such as JEE and NEET. Teachers there know the NCERT texts intimately and can explain a derivation patiently. What they rarely know is the language of IB command terms or the way an IGCSE mark scheme awards method marks.

A private tutor in the neighbourhood, perhaps a retired lecturer or a college teacher, offers attention and trust. For an IB or IGCSE student, the limitation is the same one: familiarity with the syllabus. A good local teacher can still help with general reading, handwriting or confidence, and many families keep one alongside an online specialist.

Self-study is increasingly possible with past papers and video lessons, and a disciplined student can go a long way. The weakness is feedback. Nobody tells the student that a statement would earn two marks instead of four, or that an Internal Assessment draft drifts away from the criteria. A specialist online tutor supplies exactly that.

Our recommendation is practical. Use the local school and coaching for the days and subjects they cover well, and add specialist online lessons only where the IB or IGCSE content demands it. For many Sundarnagar students that means one or two subjects, not a full replacement of existing support.

How the year runs in Sundarnagar: monsoon roads, winter evenings and exam months

The Himachal school year opens in April, with a summer break in the hottest weeks and a break in winter that varies by altitude. Sundarnagar is a mid-hills town, so winters are cool, not snowbound, and children generally attend school through the cold months, though evenings arrive early and the household often gathers in one warm room.

The monsoon is a bigger planning factor than the cold. In July and August, landslides and washed-out stretches on the highways around Mandi can delay travel for days, which matters for families whose child boards elsewhere and is meant to return for a holiday. Online lessons do not depend on a road, so they are a stable thread through such weeks.

Festivals set their own rhythm. Lohri and Makar Sankranti in January, Baisakhi in April, the Mandi Shivratri fair in February or March, Dussehra and Diwali in autumn all pull children out of routine. We plan around these dates when a student has a mock or a coursework deadline close by.

Exam months are national, not local. IB candidates in the Indian subcontinent sit their main written papers in May, with a November session for some schools. IGCSE candidates sit Cambridge in May-June or October-November and Edexcel in January or May-June. Everything the table below shows works back from those fixed dates.

University pathways from Sundarnagar after IB or IGCSE

Indian universities recognise the IB Diploma and, for admission, the Association of Indian Universities issues equivalence certificates; a student should ask for one early rather than at the last moment. For engineering and medicine, the national entrance tests (JEE, NEET) have their own eligibility rules, and an IB or IGCSE student should read the current notice before assuming a subject combination is acceptable.

Within Himachal, the obvious names are IIT Mandi at Kamand, NIT Hamirpur, the Central University of Himachal Pradesh and several state universities, all reachable through national entrance routes. Under CUET-UG, many central and state universities admit on test scores, and an IB student typically prepares for the relevant domain subjects alongside school work.

Abroad, IB Diploma points and IGCSE results are read directly by universities in the UK, Canada, Australia, the United States and parts of Europe. Because a Sundarnagar student rarely has an on-site counsellor at a local school, we encourage families to write down target countries by Class 10, so that subject choices and tests such as SAT, IELTS or the university's own tests fit the plan.

Tutors do not give admission guarantees and we do not promise outcomes. What they can do is explain how subject choices at HL or SL, or at Core and Extended, influence which doors stay open, and then build a study plan that aims at the marks those doors need.

07

IB Maths AA, AI and the sciences for Sundarnagar students

  • Maths AA HL: proof, calculus and Paper 3 style problems
  • Maths AI: modelling, statistics and technology use
  • Physics and Chemistry: data booklet fluency and practical design
  • Biology: command terms and quantitative treatment of data

Analysis and Approaches suits students heading for engineering, physics, computer science or economics, and its HL version includes proof, complex numbers and extra calculus. Applications and Interpretation suits students who prefer data, modelling and technology, with a statistics emphasis that serves business, social science and some life-science paths. Choosing between them is a university decision as much as a taste.

In Physics, the work divides into problem solving and practical investigation. Students from Himachal Board backgrounds are often strong on numerical problems but less used to open-ended practical design. In sessions we practise planning a method, controlling variables and writing an evaluation that names specific sources of uncertainty, not vague human error.

Chemistry rewards a student who sees patterns. Bonding and structure explain reactivity, which in turn explains organic pathways, and a tutor who keeps returning to that chain helps a student stop memorising reaction lists. In Biology, the emphasis moves to precise language and data interpretation, and we use past questions to rehearse the exact wording examiners reward.

For all sciences, the internal assessment is a continuing project, not a late task. Tutors may talk through a research question, ask what a graph shows, and point out where the criteria expect more depth. The writing and the data stay with the student.

08

IGCSE Core or Extended: choosing the tier and subjects in Sundarnagar

In IGCSE Mathematics and the sciences, the Core tier limits the highest available grade, while Extended opens the full range. A student who plans to take IB Maths or A Level Mathematics almost always needs Extended, and a student who finds mathematics laborious may do better to secure a solid grade at Core than to struggle through Extended.

Subject mix is the second decision. Most students take five to eight IGCSE subjects, balancing languages, sciences, humanities and mathematics. For Sundarnagar students who may later move into an IB school, subjects that feed IB Diploma options, such as Sciences, Mathematics and a second language, are generally sensible choices.

Boards differ. Cambridge's syllabus codes and papers have their own style, and Pearson Edexcel's follow different structures and tier rules. We ask which board your school uses before suggesting any plan, because past papers from the wrong board do more harm than good.

Finally, the exam series. A student entered for May-June has a very different runway from one entered for January. A tutor works back from the date, builds topic coverage into the weeks available, and reserves the last weeks for timed papers.

09

How does a Sundarnagar family get started with an IB or IGCSE tutor?

Write to support@ibgram.com or message +91 7439 368 115 on WhatsApp with the programme, subject, level, board and exam session. We reply with a suggested tutor and a time for a free trial lesson on IST. If you are unsure of any detail, send what you have; school reports usually settle the rest.

At the trial the tutor teaches a real piece of the syllabus rather than giving a sales talk. The student can see whether the explanation clicks, and a parent can listen in if they wish. If the fit is wrong, we change the tutor with no fuss and no charge.

After each session the tutor sends a short written note: what was covered, what the student found hard, and what to do before next time. Parents who cannot sit in on lessons, which is common when work keeps both adults out until evening, still see the pattern of progress.

Rates are quoted in writing before anything is booked. If a connection fails during a monsoon week, we reschedule. Nothing here replaces the child's school; it sits beside it.

Where we tutor

Sundarnagar localities and nearby places we support

Online lessons need nothing from the neighbourhood except a quiet room and steady internet, but the lanes of a small hill town shape when a child is free and when the connection is dependable. These notes are meant to help plan the week, not to suggest that a tutor will visit.

Main Bazaar and the old town

The oldest part of Sundarnagar, with older homes and family-run shops. Evening lessons usually begin once shutters come down and the lane quietens.

Ner Chowk side

The junction on the highway toward Mandi. Heavy truck and bus traffic makes daytime noise, so a headset is worth having for a lesson held at the front of a house.

BSL colony and project quarters

Employee housing linked to the Beas Sutlej Link project. Households here often have colleagues who have moved around the country and who are curious about different boards.

Dehar and the power-project belt

Close to the hydroelectric works along the river. Families with transferable jobs sometimes ask about continuity of curriculum across postings.

Government College and college road

An academic pocket with teachers and lecturers living nearby. Parents here are comfortable with long study hours and ask detailed questions about marking.

Sundarnagar lake area

The town's best-known landmark and a quiet residential side. Calm evenings suit longer Mathematics or Physics sessions.

Bhojpur and nearby villages

Outlying settlements where connectivity can vary. We suggest testing the connection at the trial lesson and keeping a mobile hotspot as backup.

Mandi road towards Mandi town

The stretch toward district headquarters, where some families keep a second household. Lesson times can be moved when children shift between the two.

Bilaspur direction

Students from the Bilaspur side of the highway join the same online batch timings, since the link is a screen and not a car.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Sundarnagar: your questions answered

Are there IB tutors in Sundarnagar?+

Yes, online. IB Gram tutors teach IB subjects live over video to students in Sundarnagar, Mandi district. They do not visit homes there, because in-person home tuition is offered only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Your child studies from a desk at home and meets a tutor who has taught the same course recently. A free trial lesson comes first, so you can judge the fit before booking.

Is IGCSE home tuition available in Sundarnagar?+

IGCSE home tuition is available online, not in person. A tutor teaches your child one to one over live video while the student sits at home in Sundarnagar. We cover Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, Core and Extended, Foundation and Higher. The tutor will first ask which board, subject code and tier your child is entered for, since the right plan depends on those details.

Does a tutor come to my house in Sundarnagar?+

No. Tutors do not visit houses in Sundarnagar or anywhere in Himachal Pradesh. Home visits run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. In Sundarnagar the lesson takes place over a laptop and a stable internet connection, with a shared screen for working through problems. Many families find that this gives access to better-matched specialists than a local visit ever could.

Is there any IB or IGCSE school in Sundarnagar?+

We could not confirm any school in Sundarnagar that teaches the IB or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE, so we name none. Local schools follow the Himachal Board or CBSE. The nearest confirmed options are in the Chandigarh tricity and in Dehradun and Mussoorie, which are covered on this page as nearby places and not as local schools.

How much does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Sundarnagar?+

We do not publish fixed prices, because the rate depends on the course level, the tutor's experience, how many sessions a week you want and whether lessons are private or in a small group. You receive a written quote before booking, and the first trial lesson is free. Online delivery means no travel cost on the Mandi or Bilaspur road, which is one expense less.

Can my child take both CBSE or Himachal Board and IGCSE support?+

Yes, with planning. Some students keep their school board and add specialist lessons in one or two subjects for an IB or IGCSE goal. The sensible approach is to avoid overloading: pick the subjects where a syllabus gap exists, and keep the weekly timetable realistic, particularly in months when board exams or school tests are close.

What if the internet fails during the monsoon?+

We reschedule at no charge when a connection or power cut makes a lesson impossible. In Sundarnagar, July and August can bring outages and landslide trouble on the highway, so it helps to keep a mobile hotspot and a charged laptop. The tutor will also share notes and tasks so that no learning time is lost entirely.

Do tutors write the Internal Assessment or Extended Essay?+

No. Tutors coach, explain, set practice and give feedback on drafts, but they never write an Internal Assessment, Extended Essay, TOK essay or coursework for a student. That work must be the student's own, and the examining bodies treat anything else as malpractice. A tutor can ask probing questions and point to the criteria, which is often the most useful help.

Which IB subjects do Sundarnagar students ask about most?+

Requests lean towards Mathematics (both Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English A. Economics and Business Management follow, often from students interested in finance or management abroad. Hindi B is also requested, as it suits students who speak Hindi at home. Subject demand differs by school, so we ask for the subject list first.

How does IB Maths differ from the Class 12 CBSE syllabus?+

IB Maths asks more for reasoning and interpretation than for repeated procedure. A CBSE student is used to a defined set of chapter exercises; an IB student meets unfamiliar contexts, written explanations and, at Higher Level, extended problem solving. Content overlaps in calculus and algebra, but the style differs, so students benefit from deliberate practice with IB-style questions before their first mock.

When are the IB and IGCSE exams for Sundarnagar students?+

IB candidates in India sit the main written papers in May, with a November session for some schools. Cambridge IGCSE runs in May-June and October-November, while Pearson Edexcel uses January and May-June series. Your school tells you which session your child is registered for, and a tutor builds the study plan backward from that specific date.

Can a student join midway through the year?+

Yes. Many families contact us after a mock result or a school transfer. We begin with a diagnostic conversation or short paper to find where the gaps are, then focus on those topics first. Joining late is workable, but earlier is gentler, since there is time to build habits as well as to fix topics.

Do you teach IB Hindi or other languages?+

Yes, we support IB Hindi B and, subject to tutor availability, other language courses. Languages are assessed on text types, comprehension and spoken fluency, which many students practise too little. A short weekly conversation session and regular writing feedback tend to help more than extra grammar drills, and a tutor can plan both.

What age groups do you tutor?+

From primary years to Class 12. PYP support is aimed at roughly ages 3 to 12, MYP at ages 11 to 16, and the Diploma and Career-related Programme at Class 11 and 12. IGCSE usually covers Class 9 and 10. The right tutor depends less on age than on the programme and subject, so we match on those.

How do I start with a free trial lesson?+

Send the programme, subject, level, board and exam session to support@ibgram.com or message +91 7439 368 115 on WhatsApp. We suggest a tutor and a time on IST, usually in the evening for school-going students. The trial lesson is free, and there is no obligation to continue if the fit is not right for your child.

Is IB Gram connected with any school or exam board?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutoring service with no affiliation to the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel or any school. We describe their syllabi so students can prepare, but we neither speak for them nor receive anything from them. Your child's school remains the authority on registration, deadlines and results.
