Online Home Tuition for IB and IGCSE Students in Siana, Bulandshahr

Looking for home tuition in Siana for an IB or IGCSE student? No tutor from IB Gram will ring your doorbell, since house visits are limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, but a subject specialist can teach privately over live video from the desk at home. Noida's international schools are a long drive away, so a screen lesson is usually the practical way to reach specialist teaching.

  • A tutor who has taught the syllabus your child sits, from IB Mathematics AA to Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry
  • Online in Siana, and we say so first, not after you have enquired
  • One free lesson to begin with, then a written rate you are free to refuse
  • Independent of the IB, Cambridge, Pearson and all the schools mentioned

IB & IGCSE in Siana

Following the IB or IGCSE from a doab tehsil town in Bulandshahr district

Siana is a municipal town and the tehsil headquarters of Siyana in Bulandshahr district, in the land between the Ganga and the Yamuna. It lies some 33 km from Bulandshahr, 19 km from Garhmukteshwar on the Ganga and 62 km from Meerut, with Delhi roughly a hundred kilometres away. Wheat, potatoes, maize and sugarcane fill the surrounding fields, and the town's 25 wards held about 44,000 people at the 2011 census.

Schools in and around Siana follow the Uttar Pradesh board, with CBSE and ICSE options in the larger towns of the district, and Hindi is the language of most homes. We could not confirm an IB World School or a Cambridge or Edexcel centre in Siana or Bulandshahr. The schools we can confirm are in Noida, Greater Noida, Meerut and Delhi, so anyone who wants IB and IGCSE tutors in Siana is effectively looking for online ones.

A word on home tuition. Bulandshahr district sits in the National Capital Region on the map, but IB Gram's in-person teaching is restricted to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, and Siana is not among them. So no tutor visits houses here. What a Siana family receives is online home tuition: a private one-to-one lesson, live on video, taken at home on a laptop or tablet at times that suit school, the farm calendar and the household.

IB Gram is independent of the IB, Cambridge, Pearson and every school named on this page. Tutors explain, question and mark practice, while every piece of assessed work remains the student's own effort.

At a glance

  • IB PYP, MYP, DP and CP, plus Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE
  • Tutors picked for your course code, level and exam sitting
  • A free opening lesson and a rate agreed in writing
  • A few lines of notes after each session
  • Online only in Siana; in-person teaching exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Siana school years

Every stage of the IB can be followed online from Siana. The entries below outline each stage and then say what a tutor contributes when the nearest international classroom is far away.

PYPNursery to Class 5, aged 3 to 11

Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

Children learn through inquiry units that blend subjects, then present a pupil-led Exhibition near the end. No outside exam is set, so the stress is on asking, reading and explaining.

For a young child in Siana, English is often the extra language, so tutors use picture books, number games and short spoken tasks while Hindi stays the language of family life.

MYPClasses 6 to 10, aged 11 to 16

Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)

Subjects are graded against set criteria rather than marks for recall alone, and each student completes a Personal Project at the end.

Students arriving from a UP Board or CBSE class have to learn how to write to criteria. Tutors turn the descriptors into plain steps and help with scheduling the project, never with its content.

DPClasses 11 and 12, aged 16 to 19

Diploma Programme (IB DP)

Six subjects are studied alongside three core elements: Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS. Exams come in May or November, and coursework is moderated externally.

A Diploma candidate from Siana would enrol with a school in a bigger city or sit as a private candidate, so a weekly online specialist supplies the depth that an unsupported student would miss.

CPClasses 11 and 12, aged 16 to 19

Career-related Programme (IB CP)

A few Diploma courses join career-related study, a reflective project and language learning, for students who prefer a practical route.

We know of no CP school near Siana. Tutors support the academic courses, and will say honestly if another route is a better match.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Siana school timetables

Since no tutor visits Siana in person, the three formats below all run on live video. They differ in group size and in when they help most.

One-to-one lessons from home

A single student and specialist, a shared board and a laptop at the family table. In-person teaching exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, so tutors do not come to Siana.

  • Fixed weekly slot in IST
  • Worksheets and shared whiteboard
  • Brief note after each class

Exam-run and fog-season blocks

A set of lessons before the May and November IB papers or an IGCSE series, or across the foggiest winter weeks when school timings shift, with timed papers and marked feedback.

  • Timed mocks, marked
  • Gap list for parents
  • Flexible when fog delays school

Joint lessons for two

Two students on the same course and level share a tutor, and the two families divide the fee. Either can go back to a private lesson later.

  • Same course and level
  • Fee split agreed first
  • Change back whenever
Verified tutors

IB and IGCSE tutors available to students in Siana

IB Gram tutors work from different parts of India and meet Siana students on video, so nobody has to travel to Noida or Delhi for a lesson. Each profile names the IB programmes or IGCSE boards that tutor has taught, and the free first session serves as the introduction.

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Siana

01

Are there IB or IGCSE schools within reach of Siana?

  • No IB or Cambridge school confirmed in Siana or Bulandshahr
  • Confirmed schools lie in Noida, Greater Noida, Meerut and Delhi
  • Private IGCSE candidates need an authorised centre, usually in the NCR
  • Verify each school on the official IB and Cambridge lists

Not in Siana itself, and none that we could confirm in Bulandshahr district. Schools here mostly follow the Uttar Pradesh board, with CBSE and ICSE options in the larger towns, and we found no IB World School or Cambridge or Edexcel centre in the district. We prefer to leave the local school strip empty than print a name we cannot stand behind. If you know a local school with an international programme, send us the name and we will verify it.

The confirmed schools are in the NCR cluster to the north-west. Noida and Greater Noida have Pathways School Noida, Genesis Global School, Prometheus School and Shiv Nadar School, Meerut has Vidya Global School, and New Delhi has The British School. With Delhi around a hundred kilometres from Siana, each of these is a move or a boarding decision, not a commute.

Families that consider these courses often have one of three reasons: a working member in Noida, Ghaziabad or Delhi, a farming or trading business that wants a qualification that travels, or a planned move to the NCR. Many keep the child in a local school for now and add online IB or IGCSE lessons, then decide on relocation at Class 8, 10 or 11.

Check any school you shortlist against the IB and Cambridge directories, because approvals change. Private IGCSE candidates sit at an authorised exam centre, usually in the NCR, and entry deadlines fall months before the papers. Keep winter fog and the Kanwar season in mind when you plan a journey for exams or school visits.

02

How do the UP Board, CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and IB differ for a Siana student?

The UP Board tests mainly what the prescribed textbooks contain, often in Hindi, while CBSE puts more weight on application and ICSE on fluent written English. IGCSE and the IB give a student data, a diagram or a scenario and ask for reasoning in organised English. A student who has studied for recall will feel the change, especially in the first term.

In Siana the main bridge is English. Many students learn science and mathematics in Hindi, and then meet command terms such as analyse, justify and evaluate in English. Tutors practise these every week with short written answers, return them marked, and build subject vocabulary steadily. Ability is rarely the obstacle.

For JEE or NEET from Siana, CBSE plus coaching, in Noida or Delhi or online, is usually simpler. For study abroad, or for Delhi University through CUET-UG with an international board, IGCSE followed by the Diploma or A Levels can fit well. Both are legitimate; the right choice depends on the goal and on whether the family may relocate to the NCR.

The earlier the switch, the smoother it is. IGCSE starts in Class 9 and gives two years of adjustment, whereas the Diploma in Class 11 assumes the international style already. A few diagnostic lessons in Class 8 or 9 show what needs work and cost little compared with a wrong turn.

Routes a Siana family may weigh

03

What makes IB and IGCSE tuition cost more or less in Siana?

  • Course level and subject scarcity set the rate
  • Weekly hours and exam closeness change the total
  • A written rate follows the free opening lesson
  • Short blocks and joint lessons lower the cost

We give no price list, because the rate depends on the tutor and the course, not on the town. A written rate follows your free opening lesson, and nothing is taken before you agree. Whichever source of IB and IGCSE tutors in Siana you use, ask for the figure in writing, including minimum bookings and any exam-season extras.

Several things move it. The course level counts, since HL Chemistry asks more than Class 8 science. Subject scarcity counts, because Psychology or ESS has fewer tutors than Mathematics. Weekly hours count, and so does how close the exam is: a pre-exam block takes more preparation than a steady term, and the price reflects that.

A tuition centre in town is cheaper per hour because one teacher serves a whole batch, but it prepares students for the UP Board or CBSE. The honest comparison for an international course is a specialist in Noida or Delhi, whose fee carries a long journey each way. Online lessons remove the journey and the day it costs.

If funds are limited, say so. Ten lessons on one weak topic, a joint lesson with a friend or a lighter plan in quiet months can all keep costs in check. We favour a smaller plan you can finish over an ambitious one that stops at the first exam.

04

How do online lessons compare with coaching centres, private tutors and self-study around Siana?

Around Siana, coaching centres and private tutors are built for UP Board, CBSE and entrance exams, and they do that well. What is missing is someone who has taught IB or IGCSE papers and knows how they are marked. Online lessons supply that person without a move, which is why IB and IGCSE tutors in Siana are, in practice, online tutors.

Travel shapes the choice. A weekly lesson in Noida or Delhi would mean several hours on the road, through fog in winter and Kanwar traffic in July, while an online lesson takes one hour. The saved time can go into homework, which is where marks are actually won.

Self-study with past papers suits a disciplined Class 10 student preparing IGCSE Mathematics. For the Diploma it is riskier, because internal assessments and command terms need feedback, and a misunderstanding can sit unnoticed for two years.

Combining routes is normal: local coaching for board subjects, online lessons for the international ones. Whatever the mix, protect sleep. Rested students retain more, and weekly consistency beats cramming.

How do heat, fog, smog and the festival calendar shape the exam year in Siana?

Summers in the Ganga-Yamuna doab are fierce: May and June often bring 40 degrees or more, with hot afternoon winds, exactly when the IB May session and the IGCSE summer papers fall. Early mornings and late evenings work best, and backup power for the router is worth having.

Monsoon rain arrives in July and runs to September, and the Kanwar Yatra falls in the month of Sawan, when traffic is diverted on major highways such as the Delhi-Haridwar road. Neither stops a video lesson. November brings pilgrim crowds to the Ganga at Garhmukteshwar around Kartik Purnima, and a smog season that can limit outdoor activity across the NCR.

Winter adds dense fog and cold waves in December and January, when school timings change and trains and buses run late. Online lessons can move to midday, when visibility returns, and extra sessions can fill days when school is shut. Holi in March and Diwali in October or November call for lighter weeks.

A sound plan has November candidates finishing new content by early September and mocking in October, while May candidates finish by January, mock in February and March, and revise in April. UP Board examinations in February and March reduce the tutoring load, and we plan for that from the start.

An exam-year plan for Siana students

06

Where do Siana students go after IB or IGCSE?

  • The AIU equates the IB Diploma with Class 12
  • CUET-UG, JEE Main and NEET issue separate rules each year
  • After IGCSE: A Levels, the IB Diploma or CBSE Class 11
  • State counselling may add domicile and equivalence conditions

The Association of Indian Universities treats the IB Diploma as equal to Class 12, so Indian degrees remain open, and each university then sets its own subject and score conditions. CUET-UG is the route into Delhi University and other central universities under its registration rules, while JEE Main and NEET have their own conditions. Read the latest bulletins, not last year's.

Delhi and Noida are the natural first look: Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Ambedkar University Delhi, IIT Delhi and AIIMS Delhi through the national exams, and Shiv Nadar University, Bennett University, Amity and Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida and Noida. Closer to home, Aligarh Muslim University and Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut are familiar names, and IIT Roorkee is a regional draw.

For study abroad, the UK, Canada, Singapore and the US are common targets, with predicted grades, English-language test scores and deadlines that start a year early. Because IGCSE is not a school-leaving certificate in India, an IGCSE student still chooses a Class 11 and 12 route, and the decisive choice falls in Class 9 or 10.

Uttar Pradesh's own engineering counselling has domicile and equivalence rules that change, so check the current brochure if a state seat is the aim. Tutors can explain how each route works, but the applications and the decision remain with the family.

07

How demanding are IB Mathematics AA and AI, Physics, Chemistry and Biology?

Analysis and Approaches develops algebra, functions, calculus and proof, and it is the usual path for engineering and pure science. Applications and Interpretation spends more time on statistics, modelling and technology, and suits economics, business and social research. They are different courses, not easy and hard versions, and both include a mathematical exploration. Choose with the target degree in mind.

The three sciences follow a common frame of core topics, further topics, written papers and a scientific investigation. Physics needs tidy algebra and unit discipline, Chemistry needs moles, equilibria and mechanisms, and Biology needs exact vocabulary and careful reading of data.

Siana students have good local material. The Narora Atomic Power Station, in the same district, makes nuclear fission less abstract. The Ganga and the Narora wetland stretch support ecology and river-management questions, and potato markets and state-announced sugarcane prices bring Economics topics such as price floors and elasticity to life.

Without a well-equipped lab, the investigation can feel daunting. Online tutors show how to choose a question, control variables, handle uncertainty and report results, and the experiment and the write-up stay the student's own.

08

How do IGCSE Core, Extended, Foundation and Higher work, and what should a Siana student choose?

Cambridge IGCSE sets Core and Extended papers in most sciences and mathematics: Core caps at grade C, Extended reaches A star. Pearson Edexcel gives Mathematics two tiers, Foundation and Higher, while its sciences are single-tier with numerical grades. Anyone who might take IB Mathematics or a science stream later should sit Extended or Higher.

A typical programme has six to eight subjects: English, Mathematics, sciences, a second language and electives. Geography fits students who live on a river plain, Economics and Business Studies fit trading and farming families, and Computer Science suits those who like logic. Choose electives that point towards the intended Class 11 route.

Specification codes, paper formats and grade scales differ between Cambridge and Pearson. Confirm the board first, then revise from its own past papers. Mixing the two boards' materials wastes weeks that are hard to recover.

A private candidate registers through an authorised centre, which for Siana means a city in the NCR, with firm deadlines and separate planning for practicals. We explain what each paper asks, but the registration and the paperwork remain with the family and the centre.

Where we tutor

Siana, Bulandshahr district and the nearby towns we teach online

Every lesson is online, so any student in Siyana tehsil or the wider district can join if there is a working connection. The places below are towns and corridors around Siana, each with a practical note.

Siana town

The tehsil headquarters and municipal town; evening slots avoid the busiest market hours.

Siyana tehsil villages

Farming villages around the town, where wheat and sugarcane set the rhythm of the year; lesson times are agreed around harvest weeks.

Bulandshahr

The district headquarters 33 km away; many families go there for offices and coaching, so a home lesson saves the trip.

Garhmukteshwar

Nineteen km away on the Ganga and known for Brajghat; pilgrim crowds in the Kanwar season and around Kartik Purnima can jam local roads.

Narora

A Ganga-side town in Dibai tehsil with the Narora Atomic Power Station and its Atomic Energy Central Schools.

Dibai

A tehsil town east of Siana towards the Ganga; connection quality is checked during the trial lesson.

    • Pathways School Noida
    • Genesis Global School
    • Prometheus School
    • Shiv Nadar School, Noida

    Nearby: Meerut

Meerut, 62 km away, has one school confirmed on our pages. It is the closest option in distance, though not a daily commute for most families.

    • Vidya Global School, Meerut

    Nearby: New Delhi

The capital has more international schools, though it is about a hundred kilometres from Siana.

    • The British School, New Delhi

    How matching works

From first enquiry to a tutor who fits

    1. 01

      Write to us

Send the school, course, level, exam sitting and any trouble spots by WhatsApp or email.

    2. 02

      Review the proposed tutor

We suggest a tutor who has taught that very syllabus, with a short profile and options in IST.

    3. 03

      Attend the free lesson

Your child works through real material in a full session, so the teaching can be judged fairly.

    4. 04

      Decide on a written plan

If you continue, hours and rate are put on paper first, and nothing is paid before that.

    5. 05

      Read the session notes

A few lines follow each lesson on what was done and what to practise, and swapping tutors is easy.

    Why families choose us

What Siana parents tell us matters most

    Matched by course code

We pair on the exact paper, such as IB Economics HL or Cambridge IGCSE Physics, not only on the subject word.

    Clear about delivery

Every Siana lesson is live on video; in-person teaching is confined to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

    Coaching, not ghost-writing

IAs, Extended Essays, TOK essays and coursework remain the student's own; tutors explain and mark practice.

    Fog and heat aware

Lessons move to the clearer, cooler parts of the day when weather or school timings change.

    IST and the local calendar

Tutors teach on Indian time and plan around the UP Board exam months and festival weeks.

    Parents stay informed

A short written note after each session shows what was covered.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Siana: your questions answered

Can I find an IB or IGCSE tutor in Siana?+

Yes, through online lessons. For IB and IGCSE tutors in Siana we match a tutor from elsewhere in India to your child's course, level and exam sitting, and teaching takes place over live video. No tutor comes to Siana in person, so the first step is simply to tell us the subject and the exam month.

Will a tutor come to my home in Siana?+

No. House visits are limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, and Siana is outside that area even though Bulandshahr district lies in the wider region. Home tuition here means a private lesson at your own table over video, with a shared whiteboard and no journey to Noida or Delhi.

Is there an IB or Cambridge school in Siana or Bulandshahr?+

We could not confirm one. Local schools follow the UP board, with CBSE and ICSE options in larger towns. The nearest confirmed international schools are in Noida, Greater Noida, Meerut and New Delhi. Check any school on the IB and Cambridge directories, since approvals change.

How much does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Siana?+

No fixed price is published, because the rate depends on the tutor, the level, how rare the subject is and the weekly hours. You receive a written figure after the free opening lesson. Sharing a budget early lets us suggest a short block, a joint lesson or a lighter timetable.

Can my child study IB while attending a UP Board or CBSE school?+

Yes, as an addition to school, with the international exams entered privately. Two syllabuses together are demanding, so the timetable is built around school examinations and protects sleep. Starting the international style of question in Class 9 or 10 makes a later Diploma easier.

My child studies in Hindi medium. Can they cope with IB or IGCSE in English?+

Often yes, with targeted support for written English. Understanding of mathematics and science is rarely the gap; organising an answer in English is. Weekly short writing tasks, marked and returned, plus work on command terms and vocabulary, close the gap steadily.

Which IB subjects can your tutors cover?+

We cover the subjects families ask about most, such as Mathematics (AA and AI), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and English, and we also find tutors for Business Management, ESS, Geography, Hindi, Computer Science and Psychology, plus MYP and PYP. Rare pairings can take longer, and you will hear at once if we cannot match one.

Can my child take IGCSE as a private candidate from Siana?+

Yes, through an exam centre authorised by Cambridge or Pearson, which in practice means a centre in the NCR or another city. Entry deadlines come months before the papers, and practical components need separate arrangements. Our part is the teaching; registration is for you and the centre.

Do tutors write the IA or Extended Essay?+

No. Assessed work such as the IA, Extended Essay, TOK essay and coursework has to be the student's own. Tutors help a student understand the criteria, pick a manageable question, plan the timeline and know what examiners want, and they mark practice, but nothing submitted is written or edited by them.

Will Delhi University and Indian colleges accept an IB Diploma?+

Generally yes. The Association of Indian Universities equates a completed Diploma with Class 12, and CUET-UG is the route into Delhi University and other central universities, subject to its rules. Every institution still sets subject and score conditions, so check the latest notice, and send us any wording that is unclear.

How does fog or cold weather affect online lessons?+

Only indirectly. Fog and cold waves mostly disrupt travel and school timings, not video lessons. We can shift sessions to clearer midday hours, add extra lessons while school is shut, and rebook without penalty if a power cut or signal problem interrupts a class.

Does the Kanwar season or a Ganga fair interfere with lessons?+

Only if roads and power are disrupted. Online lessons do not depend on travel, but we keep the busiest festival days clear and plan lighter weeks around Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra and Diwali. Tell us your family's key dates early and we will work around them.

Should my child do IGCSE before the IB Diploma?+

It is a common order, not a requirement. IGCSE covers Classes 9 and 10 and builds structured exam writing, and the Diploma follows in Classes 11 and 12. A Levels or CBSE Class 11 are alternatives. Because no international school is nearby, the choice often follows where the exams can be taken.

How quickly can you find a tutor?+

Usually within two to four working days of receiving the course, level and your free hours. Mathematics and the sciences are the quickest to place, and rarer subjects may need longer. If nobody suitable is available, we tell you straight away.

    Is the first lesson free?+

Yes. Your child has a full session with a proposed tutor on real course material, which shows the actual teaching. A weekly plan and written rate are sent only if you want to continue, and nothing is charged before that. If it is not a good fit, we suggest a different tutor.

How do we begin from Siana?+

Message +91 7439 368 115 on WhatsApp, or email support@ibgram.com, with the student's school, course, level and exam month. We reply with a suggested tutor and a trial time in IST. Asking is free and the decision to continue is yours.
