IB and IGCSE Tutors and Home Tuition (Online) in Savner

Want private tuition at home for a Savner child on an IB or IGCSE course? Our teaching is one to one over live video, so your child learns at the family desk while a specialist writes, marks and explains on a shared screen. Savner sits about 36 km north of Nagpur, which makes a daily commute to a city school possible but tiring; lessons that arrive on the home laptop save that road time for revision.

  • A tutor chosen for the course your child actually follows
  • Video lessons on Indian time, each followed by a short written summary
  • One free trial class before any commitment
  • Separate from every school and examining body

IB & IGCSE in Savner

IB and IGCSE tutors in Savner, taught live from your own home

Savner, which many records and road signs spell Saoner, is a tehsil headquarters on the Kolar river in the north of Nagpur district. Farming, the Western Coalfields mines that feed the Khaparkheda power station, and a modest textile and paper trade keep the local economy ticking. It is not a place where you find an IB campus on the main road. Yet families here do ask about international syllabuses, usually because a parent works for the mines or the power complex, because a child has returned from a posting elsewhere, or because someone has decided that Nagpur's few international schools are worth the drive.

If you mean tuition delivered at home for a Savner student on an IB or IGCSE course, the workable answer is online. Our tutors do not come to Savner and do not teach in person here; in-person sessions run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. What the family receives is one-to-one teaching on a laptop, with the tutor working through problems on a shared whiteboard, checking a photographed page of the child's working and sending a short note afterwards. Since no tutor has to live nearby, we pick for subject knowledge, not for postcode.

A typical Savner enquiry has a clear shape. A child is in a Nagpur school or about to join one, travelling in by bus or car for an hour or more each way, and by the time the day ends there is little energy left for a tutor who also needs a journey. Online teaching removes that second trip. It also keeps lessons possible during the long power-and-heat stretches of May, when a short evening session beats a drive anywhere.

IB Gram works on its own, with no tie to the IB organisation, Cambridge, Pearson or any school named below. We make no promise of a grade, a seat or an outcome.

IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Savner school years

Few Savner households meet the IB through a school down the road. They meet it through a Nagpur admission, a transfer or a parent's plan. The notes below say what each programme asks of a child and where a tutor genuinely helps.

PYPNursery to Class 5 (ages 3 to 12)

IB PYP (Primary Years)

There are no separate subject silos here. Pupils work through transdisciplinary inquiries and close the stage with a shared exhibition project.

Marathi, Hindi or Varhadi may be the first language at home, so a small child usually benefits from relaxed English talk and read-aloud time before any written task.

MYPClass 6 to 10 (ages 11 to 16)

IB MYP (Middle Years)

Eight subject groups are graded against stated criteria, and a self-directed Personal Project crowns the final year.

Arriving from a Maharashtra State Board classroom, a child must learn to show how an answer was reached, not merely write it down.

DPClass 11 to 12 (ages 16 to 19)

IB DP (Diploma)

Students pick six courses, three or four at Higher Level, alongside TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS, with final papers in May or November.

In nearly every case the Savner Diploma student is enrolled in Nagpur or at a boarding school, so lesson times bend around that school's calendar and the ride home.

CPClass 11 to 12 (ages 16 to 19)

IB CP (Career-related)

A pair of Diploma courses is combined with a vocational study, a reflective project and a service component.

Very few Indian schools run the CP. Where a family does find one, its Diploma courses can be tutored the same way as any other.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

A tutor is only useful if they know the actual course. Maths Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level asks different things from Applications and Interpretation at Standard Level, and a gifted Physics teacher may never have seen an MYP Sciences criterion. These are the subjects we match for Savner students.

IB Maths: Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Differentiation, integration, functions and proof for Papers 1 and 2, then the extended problem-solving that Higher Level Paper 3 sets.

IB Maths: Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Probability, regression, financial maths and modelling, with calculator technique rehearsed and a manageable exploration topic agreed early.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics through waves, circuits and fields, with drills on how Paper 2 answers earn their marks.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Moles, energetics, equilibria and organic synthesis, plus the arithmetic accuracy that lifts a 5 to a 7.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Molecules to ecosystems, taught through command terms, data-response questions and tidy long answers.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Clean diagrams, policy evaluation and commentaries that use Indian examples such as crop pricing and fuel taxes.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case-study analysis with the standard planning tools, and a research project on a firm the student can really observe.

IB English A: Language & Literature

HL / SL

Reading unseen passages closely, writing comparative essays and rehearsing the individual oral.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Algorithm design, data structures, networks and object-oriented thinking, along with the write-up of the practical product.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Brain, mind and society as three lenses on behaviour, plus evaluating studies in a few well-aimed paragraphs.

IB Hindi and Marathi

SL / HL

Language A and B help for students at home in Hindi and Marathi, centred on accuracy, tone and register.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Case studies, fieldwork write-ups and evaluative paragraphs, grounded in Maharashtra's rivers, mining belts and monsoon.

IB History

HL / SL

Reading sources critically, building a Paper 2 argument and framing a narrow question for the investigation.

Theory of Knowledge

DP Core

Discussing knowledge questions aloud and choosing exhibition objects, so the final thinking on paper is the student's.

Extended Essay

DP Core

Settling on a researchable question and ordering the argument, while the writing itself stays with the student.

MYP Sciences and Mathematics

MYP 1-5

Criterion-marked lab reports and unit tests that form the reasoning habits DP science expects later.

MYP Humanities and Languages

MYP 1-5

Source questions, essay plans and a steady, small-steps routine for the Personal Project journal.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

We could not confirm any Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE school within Savner itself. IGCSE requests from this area usually come from students at Nagpur campuses, boarders, or families preparing a transfer. Tutors cover the following most often, for either board.

IGCSE Mathematics (0580 / 4MA1)

Core and Extended

Algebra, mensuration, trigonometry and data handling, with calculator-free confidence and annotated past-paper solutions.

IGCSE Additional Maths (0606)

Extended

Early calculus, logarithms and coordinate geometry, a useful ramp to IB Maths AA or A Level.

IGCSE Physics

Core and Extended

Motion, heat, circuits and radioactivity, plus technique for the alternative-to-practical question.

IGCSE Chemistry

Core and Extended

Bonding, mole calculations, reaction rates and basic organic chemistry, drilled until routine.

IGCSE Biology

Core and Extended

Cell structure, nutrition, genetics and ecology, with neat labelled diagrams and well-built extended answers.

IGCSE Combined / Co-ordinated Sciences

Core and Extended

All three sciences in one blended course for students who do not take them separately.

IGCSE English (First and Second Language)

Core and Extended

Comprehension, directed writing, summary and the speaking-and-listening element.

IGCSE Economics and Business

Extended

Exact definitions, data-response technique and case answers written to the mark scheme.

IGCSE Computer Science

Extended

Pseudocode, logic and program-writing questions practised under time pressure.

IGCSE Hindi and Marathi

First and Second Language

Reading, composition and grammar for students who sit a home language as a graded subject.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Savner school timetables

No tutor travels to Savner houses, as the in-person service is confined to Gurugram and some of Delhi NCR. What is available here is live online teaching, shaped three ways to match how close the exams are and how the household is arranged.

Weekly lesson on a fixed slot

One tutor, one regular evening, kept steady across the school term so that understanding builds in order.

  • Suits students who return from Nagpur in the afternoon
  • A parent may watch the first session
  • Short written note after every lesson
  • Easy to move around festival or exam weeks

Intensive run before an exam

Two to four sessions a week in the weeks before mocks, a school test or the May and November series.

  • Planned from the latest mock paper
  • Uses real past papers and mark schemes
  • Timed practice followed by marked feedback
  • Scaled back once the exam window closes

Shared lesson for two siblings

Two children on similar content can split one tutor's hour, which suits MYP and IGCSE Core especially.

  • Lower cost per child than two separate lessons
  • Switch to separate slots near exams
  • Same written notes for both
  • Works with a shared family laptop

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Savner

01

Is there an IB or IGCSE school near Savner?

  • No IB or IGCSE school in Savner that we could verify
  • Nearest realistic options are in Nagpur, 36 km away
  • Daily commute, boarding or a city rental are the usual routes
  • Tutoring smooths the move rather than replacing the school

Not in Savner itself, as far as we can verify. The town's schools teach the Maharashtra State Board syllabus or CBSE, in Marathi, Hindi or English medium, and we have not found one that is authorised for the IB or that enters candidates for Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. Rather than pad this page with names we cannot stand behind, we say plainly that the nearest options are in Nagpur.

Nagpur's international schools are few, and they lie in different corners of a large city. The IB option we know of sits out towards MIHAN on the southern side, which is the opposite end from Savner. Cambridge-curriculum schools sit in central Nagpur and on the western edge near Wanadongri. From Savner, any of them means a long road along the Nagpur highway, so the real choice is between a daily commute, boarding, or a family rental in the city.

That is why tuition features in so many Savner conversations. A child who moves to Nagpur in Class 9 often meets IGCSE or MYP expectations in Mathematics and Sciences before the school's own teaching has caught up. A child who stays in a state-board class but wants to prepare for an international route later needs a tutor who can show what the new syllabus actually looks like.

Our job is to meet the child at that point, whether the plan is a school change next June, a mid-year transfer or private preparation for IGCSE papers. We do not guarantee admission anywhere, and we say so clearly, but we can make a student's Mathematics and English strong enough for the first term to feel manageable.

02

Maharashtra State Board, CBSE, IB or IGCSE: what changes for a Savner child?

  • Switching between these routes is common at Class 9 and Class 11
  • Entrance-exam families often stay with state board or CBSE
  • IB and IGCSE suit liberal-arts or overseas plans
  • A trial lesson shows how the new style feels

The Maharashtra State Board, whose Nagpur divisional board handles the Class 10 and Class 12 papers, is built around a prescribed textbook and a written paper in February or March. CBSE follows the same logic with a national textbook. Both reward accuracy and recall under time pressure, and for entrance exams such as JEE and NEET that alignment is useful.

The IB and the two IGCSE boards are marked differently. IB Diploma grades come from external papers and internal assessments that a teacher marks to criteria; the Middle Years Programme goes further and uses no single high-stakes exam in most schools. IGCSE keeps a final paper but sets application and data-handling questions that textbooks do not give away.

In practice a Savner child feels the change in three places. The first is writing in full sentences in Science and Humanities, where a state-board answer might be a list. The second is Mathematics, where marks go for method even when the last line is wrong. The third is the pace of coursework, which arrives all year rather than in one big push.

None of this makes one route harder in every way. A hard-working child can do well in any of them. What matters is matching the route to the plan: Indian engineering and medical entrance, a liberal-arts degree, or study overseas. The table below sets out what we see most often.

03

What shapes the price of IB or IGCSE tuition for a Savner student?

We do not post a rate card. Tuition for an IB Chemistry Higher Level student a few weeks from mocks is a different job from helping a Class 7 child with MYP Mathematics, and a single price would mislead one of them. After you tell us what your child needs, we send a rate in writing before anything is booked.

Four things move that rate. Subject and level come first, since Higher Level sciences and Analysis and Approaches Mathematics call for tutors with long, specific experience. Next is the tutor's own background, such as years on this exact syllabus or marking experience. Third is how often the child studies, because two lessons a week for a term differ widely from a ten-day sprint. Last is whether siblings share a lesson.

Compare this with what is available around Savner. Local tuition in the Nagpur belt is mostly aimed at state-board and entrance-test batches, where the fee per hour is low because the class is large. A one-to-one specialist costs more per hour, but only for the weeks your child needs it, and the lesson addresses their own gaps.

A sensible way to judge value is to book the free trial lesson, take the written note that follows and ask yourself whether your child came away able to do something they could not do before. If the answer is yes, a regular slot is worth considering. If not, you have lost nothing.

04

Online home tuition, coaching class, local tutor or self-study: which works from Savner?

Savner has coaching in the usual Vidarbha pattern: batch classes for state-board subjects, plus entrance-test preparation that tends to be centred in Nagpur. What it lacks is anyone who regularly teaches the IB or Cambridge and Edexcel syllabuses. The comparison below is therefore about specialist knowledge more than about fees.

Online home tuition puts a specialist on screen at a time you choose. It carries no travel, and the lesson content is bespoke. The weakness is that it needs a working laptop and stable internet, which in the coal belt can wobble during storms and heavy summer power use.

A batch at a Nagpur coaching centre can be useful for JEE or NEET, but the content stops at Indian syllabuses and the daily travel adds hours. A private tutor in Savner may be excellent for state-board work and for younger children, but few have seen an IB mark scheme.

Self-study with past papers is free and effective for disciplined students, especially in the final month, though it does not correct misconceptions. Most Savner families who succeed combine two of these: self-study through the week and one online lesson focused on the weakest subject.

05

How do the Savner calendar and weather affect exam preparation?

Savner lies in the hot interior of Vidarbha. April and May are severe, with daytime highs that can pass 45 degrees Celsius, and that is exactly when IB and Cambridge candidates are in the exam room or revising for it. Students tend to study before sunrise or after dusk, and evening lessons are the sensible default.

The monsoon begins in June and runs into September. For a student already enrolled in a Nagpur school, the road can be slow in heavy rain. Online lessons survive flooded roads, though we still leave room for a make-up session in case a storm takes out power.

Festivals set the rest of the rhythm. Pola, the bullock festival, falls in the monsoon, Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratri follow, then Diwali in October or November, and Holi arrives in March. The annual fairs at Waki and the Rathyatara at Dhapewada are local fixtures. We shift lessons rather than cancel them when these fall on a school evening.

For examinations, the IB main session is in May, with results in early July. Cambridge IGCSE sits in May-June and October-November, and Pearson Edexcel adds a January window for many subjects. A sound revision plan starts about four months before an exam, moves to full past papers in the last six weeks and spends the last fortnight consolidating.

Savner year and exam windows

January to FebruaryCool weather, IGCSE January series, state-board preparationPast-paper practice and review of mock results
March to AprilHoli, rising heat, state-board exams endEarly revision for May papers, lessons after sunset

October to NovemberNavratri, Diwali, IB and IGCSE retake seriesFocused revision in fewer, longer sessions
06

Where can a Savner student go after the IB or IGCSE?

  • Nagpur universities and institutes are within a day trip
  • AIU equivalence supports admission to Indian universities
  • CUET-UG eligibility depends on the subjects taken
  • NEET and JEE need specific subject combinations

Nagpur itself holds several destinations that matter to a family from Savner. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, AIIMS Nagpur, the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur and the Maharashtra National Law University are all within a day trip, and IB or IGCSE students can reach many of them through the right entrance route.

The Association of Indian Universities issues equivalence for the IB Diploma and for qualifications based on IGCSE and A Level, and Indian universities use that to admit students. CUET-UG is accepted by central universities and many state and private ones; the subjects an IB student has taken decide which tests they can sit. Each university sets its own current rules, so check them before committing to a subject set.

Medicine through NEET-UG needs Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and engineering through JEE needs Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. An IB student who may want either should choose those subjects at the start of the Diploma, preferably at Higher Level where the school allows it, and verify eligibility against the current information bulletin.

Overseas, the UK, Canada, Australia and the United States are the usual targets, and Gulf cities are common where a relative works there. IB scores and IGCSE-to-A-Level pathways are read without translation. A tutor can help with the subjects, but the application, personal statement and any essay remain the student's work.

07

How should an IB Maths and Science student in Savner prepare?

IB Mathematics offers two routes. Analysis and Approaches is for students who enjoy algebra, calculus and proof, and it is the usual pairing for engineering, physics or pure mathematics. Applications and Interpretation focuses on statistics, modelling and technology, and suits economics, business, psychology and many social-science degrees. Each can be taken at Standard or Higher Level.

The common stumbling block for children from a state-board background is the form of the question. A board paper often asks for a result; an IB paper asks for a method, then an interpretation, then sometimes a comment on whether the model is sensible. We spend early lessons on setting out working and on reading command words, so marks are not lost on presentation.

The sciences share a pattern. Each has an internal assessment worth a fifth of the grade and papers whose Higher Level content goes beyond most Indian syllabuses. Chemistry students usually find stoichiometry and organic pathways hardest; Physics students struggle with unfamiliar-context problems; Biology students with the volume to remember and the discipline of long answers.

We coach internal assessments but never write them. A tutor can help a student choose a feasible question, talk through method and point out where logic breaks, yet every sentence, dataset and conclusion belongs to the student. The same applies to the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge.

08

IGCSE Core or Extended: how does a Savner student decide?

In Mathematics, the sciences and some languages, Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE let a student sit either a Core or an Extended tier. Core covers the essential syllabus and caps the top grades; Extended adds harder material and allows the full range. The choice shapes what the child can do afterwards.

A student aiming for IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches, A Level sciences or an engineering route should aim for Extended. A student who needs a secure pass, or who has limited time before the exam, may sensibly choose Core. The decision is normally made in Class 9 or early Class 10, and it is easier to move up than to move down late.

Savner students who transfer into a Nagpur IGCSE school often arrive partway through the course. We begin with a recent piece of classwork and a past paper, work out the gaps and plan backwards from the exam session, so the catch-up is realistic and not a panic.

The two boards look alike but differ in detail. Cambridge uses codes such as 0580 for Mathematics, while Pearson Edexcel uses codes such as 4MA1, and command words and paper structure differ. We always match the tutor to the board the school actually uses.

Where we tutor

Savner and the surrounding belt where families ask about IB and IGCSE tuition

Because the lesson happens on a screen, your address never narrows the tutor list. It does help us plan around school bus times, shift work and the state of the road to Nagpur, so here is how we read the area.

Savner town centre

The tehsil headquarters, where most enquiries start; students typically take a morning bus or car to Nagpur and are home by late afternoon, so evening lessons fit best.

Friday market area

A busy trading pocket on market day; trader families here sometimes want Economics and Business Studies support with real local examples.

Khapa

A mining-linked township close by; households connected with the Western Coalfields often move between postings, which makes a portable online tutor useful.

Patansaongi

A colliery settlement with employees on rotating shifts; we offer weekend and late-evening slots so that a parent can sit in on the trial.

Silewara

Another coal-belt locality in the Savner area, where parents weigh a Nagpur international school against staying with the local state or CBSE option.

Khaparkheda

Home to the thermal power complex and its staff colony; engineering families here are the most likely to ask about IB Physics, Maths and Computer Science.

Waki

A village known for an annual fair; farming households here usually ask for help with English-medium transition rather than a full IB programme.

Dhapewada

Known for the Rathyatara festival; during festival days we shift lessons earlier or later so that study does not clash with the celebration.

Mohpa

On the Nagpur side of Savner, where the commute to the city is somewhat shorter and a day-school option is more realistic.

Kalmeshwar

A nearby industrial town on the Nagpur road; some families here live roughly halfway between Savner and the city and use both as reference points.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Savner

Inside Savner: limited local choice

We found no school in Savner that we could verify as offering the IB or an IGCSE syllabus. Local schools follow the Maharashtra State Board or CBSE, so an international programme means a Nagpur school, boarding or a move.

Nearby: Nagpur, MIHAN and Wardha Road belt

Nagpur is about 36 km south of Savner. This belt on the far side of the city is where the IB programme in the region has been offered, a long journey from the north.

    • D Y Patil International School, MIHAN

    Nearby: Nagpur, central city

Two Cambridge-curriculum schools lie in central Nagpur, reachable from Savner by the main highway into the city.

    • Centre Point School International
    • VIBGYOR World Academy

Nearby: Nagpur, Wanadongri and Hingna Road

A day-cum-residential Cambridge school on the western edge of the city, which suits families who would rather board than commute daily.

    • International School of Scholars

No school inside Savner is listed below, because we could not confirm one that teaches the IB or Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE. The Nagpur schools named are shown only so you know what exists within reach. IB Gram is independent, endorses no school and cannot influence admissions; please confirm current authorisation and intake directly with the IB, Cambridge, Pearson and the school.

A Savner student is paired with a tutor who has taught the exact course, whether Diploma Physics HL, MYP Mathematics or a primary English unit, and the lesson runs one to one on Indian time. Nobody travels to Savner, because face-to-face teaching exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, but the screen lets us reach specialists anywhere in the country.

Does Savner have a school that teaches IGCSE?+

Not that we could confirm. The schools we found follow the Maharashtra State Board or CBSE, and the closest international-curriculum campuses we know of are in Nagpur, roughly 36 km south. Check each school's present status with the school itself. A tutor can ease a transfer, support a child already enrolled, or coach someone sitting IGCSE papers privately through an exam centre.

Can my child have home tuition in Savner for the IB or IGCSE?+

Home tuition here means private lessons taken from home over video, one to one. No tutor visits Savner houses; physical visits are limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Families often discover the online version suits them better, since the choice is not limited to whoever lives closest and every lesson ends with a written summary for revision.

What does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Savner?+

It varies with subject, level, tutor background and lessons per week, which is why we print no price list. After hearing what your child needs, we send a quote in writing before any booking, and the first lesson is a free trial. Higher Level sciences and Maths AA generally sit above IGCSE Core, while two siblings sharing an hour split the fee.

Which school boards operate around Savner?+

Mostly the Maharashtra State Board, along with a few CBSE schools in and near the town. Anything international is concentrated in Nagpur. Children crossing from a state-board class into IB or IGCSE tend to need work on explaining reasoning and structuring answers, so our tutors build lessons around that gap instead of repeating what the school covers.

Is it possible to sit IB or IGCSE exams privately from Savner?+

For Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel the answer is often yes, via an approved centre that accepts outside candidates, though deadlines and fees differ by centre. The IB Diploma generally requires enrolment at an authorised school. We prepare students for the papers; entry itself is arranged with the centre, so approach one early and ask about dates.

What are the IB and IGCSE exam dates?+

IB papers fall mainly in May, with November used by some schools. Cambridge IGCSE runs in May-June and October-November, and Edexcel adds January for many subjects. Your school confirms the precise timetable and entries. In Savner we usually begin firmer revision in February for the May series and keep the week around Holi light.

How does a lesson actually run from a Savner home?+

Student and tutor join a video call and share a digital whiteboard. The student photographs written work for instant comment. All you need is a laptop or tablet, steady internet and a quiet corner. Lessons follow IST and finish with a brief written note. When monsoon storms knock out power or signal, the missed hour is rescheduled at no charge.

Will a tutor write my child's Internal Assessment or essay?+

No. Tutors guide thinking and explain criteria, and may help a student settle on a workable question or spot a gap in logic. Words, data and conclusions must be the student's own. Drafting an IA, Extended Essay, TOK essay or other graded work is something we do not do, and a booking that assumed otherwise would be declined.

Which localities around Savner can you teach?+

Every one, since the classroom is a screen. Students in Savner town, Khapa, Patansaongi, Silewara, Khaparkheda, Waki, Dhapewada, Mohpa and Kalmeshwar are all covered. Your locality guides how we schedule around bus timings, shift patterns and rain, though it never limits which tutor is offered.

IB or IGCSE for a child hoping to study overseas?+

Both are accepted widely, so the better one is the one that fits the child. The Diploma asks for six subjects plus a core across two years and rewards breadth. IGCSE is a two-year secondary stage that commonly leads into A Levels or the Diploma. Talk to the schools and to the target universities before deciding.

Can my child study Hindi or Marathi with you?+

Yes, as an IB language course or an IGCSE first or second language. Work covers reading, composition, grammar and the oral where one exists. Not every language and level pairing has a tutor free at all times, so say what you need in your first message and we will tell you plainly whether we can match it.

We may be transferred from the mines or the power plant. Do lessons carry on?+

They can. Online teaching does not depend on a postcode, so the same tutor can continue after a posting to another town or state provided there is a connection and the new school uses the same syllabus. If the next school uses a different board, we can help the child prepare for the switch before the term begins.

How do we begin with the free trial?+

Send the child's programme, subject, level and school on WhatsApp to +91 7439 368 115 or by email to support@ibgram.com. A short list of suitable tutors comes back with a proposed trial slot. The trial costs nothing, carries no obligation, and any rate is confirmed in writing before a booking is made.

What happens if the tutor is not the right fit?+

Say so and we will find someone else. Mismatches usually come down to pace or teaching style, rarely to the student's ability, and changing early saves weeks. The trial lesson is meant to surface this, and the periodic check-in gives another natural moment to adjust.

Do you belong to any school or examining board?+

We do not. IB Gram is an independent tutoring service, separate from the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge University Press and Assessment, Pearson and every school mentioned on this page. Schools are named only to describe the area around Savner. Grades and admissions cannot be promised, as they rest on the student's work and the school's own judgement.
