IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Sabalgarh

Home tuition in Sabalgarh for an international syllabus used to mean a long bus ride to Gwalior or Agra, and often finding nobody suitable at the end of it. IB and IGCSE tutors in Sabalgarh now teach over live video: a private, one-to-one lesson at your own study table, with a tutor who has already taught the exact course and exam series.

  • Live one-to-one lessons by video, so your child does not have to travel to Gwalior or Agra for tuition
  • Tutors do not visit homes in Sabalgarh: in-person visits run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
  • A free trial lesson comes first, and the rate is put in writing before you book anything
  • IB Gram is independent of the IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and every school named on this page

IB & IGCSE in Sabalgarh

A fort town on the Chambal side, and a syllabus that has not arrived

Sabalgarh is a municipality in Morena district, in the Chambal division of Madhya Pradesh, at roughly 212 metres above sea level. The 2011 census counted 40,333 residents. The Chambal flows about 20 kilometres from the town with Rajasthan on its far bank, and Karauli is only 64 kilometres away. That border position explains the old fort, whose story runs through the rajas of Karauli, the Marathas and the Scindias of Gwalior, and which now stands in ruins above the town.

Schools in and around Sabalgarh follow the Madhya Pradesh Board or CBSE. We could not confirm any school in the town, in Morena district or in Gwalior that teaches the IB, Cambridge IGCSE or Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. The nearest confirmed campuses are in Agra, about 159 kilometres away, and in Jaipur, around 226 kilometres. A family here that wants an international syllabus must board the child elsewhere, move, or learn from home, and this page is mainly for the third group.

Who actually asks? Usually one of three households. A bank manager, revenue officer, teacher or engineer is posted to Sabalgarh with a child who already follows an IB or Cambridge course. Another family has a child boarding in Delhi NCR or further away, home for Diwali and the long summer break. A third wants strong Mathematics and Science well before Class 11 because university abroad is on the horizon. IB and IGCSE tutors in Sabalgarh serve all three without anyone leaving town.

A word on what home tuition means in Sabalgarh. Nobody will arrive at your door, because in-person home tuition exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Here the private lesson is online, taken at home on a laptop. Tutors teach, correct and coach, but they never write an Internal Assessment, Extended Essay, TOK essay or any assessed coursework on a student's behalf.

At a glance

  • Online one-to-one lessons from PYP to the Diploma, and IGCSE by exact paper code
  • Lesson times set around the school day, summer heat and Navratri fair weeks
  • Bridge lessons for children arriving on a posting from an IB or Cambridge school
  • A short written note after every lesson
  • Online only in Sabalgarh: no home visits here
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Sabalgarh school years

Nothing in the Sabalgarh area teaches an IB programme, as far as we could establish, so each stage reaches a family from outside: through a transfer, a boarding place, or a deliberate layer added on top of the board syllabus. This is how each one tends to look from a Chambal-belt household.

PYPClass Nursery-5, ages 3-12

IB Primary Years Programme

Learning is organised around big themes that cut across subjects, and the stage ends with a student-led Exhibition. There are no external exams, so tutoring means steady reading, writing and number work, plus practice in explaining what the child thinks and why.

PYP help here usually follows a move: a child who had a PYP classroom in the previous city and now needs the same habits kept alive during a Sabalgarh posting.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Eight subject groups are marked against criteria that describe what a student can do, and the stage closes with the Personal Project. Marks come from showing reasoning, which is a change for pupils trained mainly on recall-heavy papers.

From Sabalgarh the usual MYP request is a boarder's holiday catch-up in Sciences, Individuals and Societies, or Language and Literature.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

Six subjects, three or four of them at Higher Level, sit beside Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS. Final papers fall in May or November, and internal assessments done during the course count toward each grade.

A Sabalgarh Diploma student is almost always enrolled at a school in another city, so lessons tend to run on weekday evenings and through the long breaks.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

CP pairs Diploma courses with a career-related study, a core of personal and professional skills, and a reflective project. Very few Indian schools run it, so requests are usually about one or two Diploma courses inside it.

CP enquiries from Sabalgarh are rare. When one arrives we cover the Diploma courses within it and leave the career-related component to the school.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Pick the subject first and the label second. Whether the goal is IB Physics at Higher Level or Cambridge Mathematics beside the Madhya Pradesh Board textbook, the useful opening question is which paper, at which level, on which date. Our tutors answer that before anything else.

IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Algebra, functions, calculus and proof. Students from a board-exam background tend to compute quickly, and the extra work is writing a chain of reasoning that a marker can follow line by line.

IB Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Data handling, probability, modelling and calculator use. Wheat and mustard yields, rainfall records and canal figures make natural material for modelling questions, which suits a student leaning toward economics, business or the life sciences.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, waves, fields and thermal physics. The data booklet and careful units cause most lost marks, so a good deal of lesson time goes on setting out working so that partial credit can be earned.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Stoichiometry, energetics, equilibrium and organic pathways. The practical investigation rewards tidy method and honest evaluation more than expensive equipment.

IB Biology

HL / SL

From cell biology to ecology. The gharial and river dolphin of the Chambal are ready examples of populations under pressure, which helps with the ecology questions.

IB Environmental Systems and Societies

SL

River use, sand mining, canal irrigation and species reintroduction, including the Kuno cheetah programme begun in 2022. Students in this region have local cases for almost every topic.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Supply and demand, price floors and market failure come alive with mustard and wheat prices, support prices and mandi arrivals as running examples.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Strategy, finance and operations, tested through case studies. A grain trader, a dairy or a transport firm gives a student a familiar business to picture while applying the IB's tools.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Rivers, population, resource use and the fieldwork-based internal assessment. The Chambal basin and its canal network supply local reference points for the physical and human topics.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Programming, system fundamentals and, for HL, a pre-released case study. Short coding exercises every few days beat one long weekend session.

IB English A: Language and Literature

HL / SL

Analysing unseen texts, comparing authors and building an argued essay, practised under the clock and returned with written comments.

IB Hindi B

HL / SL

Hindi is the working language here, with Braj in everyday speech. Many students hold it well by ear and need practice with formal writing tasks and the oral component.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Research methods, biological, cognitive and sociocultural approaches. A good social-science option for students who like reading studies and writing short evaluations.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

No school in the Sabalgarh area is confirmed for Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE, so the students who need it are boarders elsewhere, children preparing for a move, or private candidates. Whatever the case, we start from the board and the paper code, never from the school name.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Extended practice for algebra, geometry and trigonometry beyond the board textbook, with strict attention to showing every step of method.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Differentiation, integration, functions and vectors, a stretch that makes the jump to IB Maths AA or A Level Mathematics much smoother.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Forces, electricity, waves and thermal topics, with weekly work on the alternative to practical paper that many candidates find unfamiliar.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Moles, bonding, the reactivity series and a first look at organic chemistry, with a routine for remembering the standard lab tests that the practical paper asks about.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Cells, genetics, human physiology and ecosystems, with river and wetland examples where they fit.

IGCSE Environmental Management 0680

Grade 9-10

Water, land use and energy, a natural match for a region shaped by a major river and a large canal system.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Markets, government policy and international trade, using agricultural prices as everyday examples.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Writing and tracing Python, plus algorithms, logic gates and networks, in paper-based questions that many keyboard-confident students underestimate.

IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language 0549

Grade 9-10

Comprehension, directed writing and speaking for students who want a recognised Hindi grade beside their English papers.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Sabalgarh school timetables

Every Sabalgarh lesson is live video with one tutor and one student. What differs from family to family is rhythm: a plain weekly evening, a weekly slot backed by written reviews, or a concentrated block in the holidays.

A fixed weekly evening

One regular slot each week, usually after school and the day's heat. It suits a student who already has a full timetable at a school in town or elsewhere.

  • Tutor chosen for the course, not the postcode
  • Available from PYP through the Diploma and IGCSE
  • Past papers marked together on a shared screen
  • The same tutor through the term

Weekly lessons with a review trail

The same live lessons, plus a written note after each one and a short review conversation with a parent every few weeks.

  • Notes list topics covered, homework and next steps
  • Parents see progress without sitting in every session
  • A second weekly slot can be added before mocks
  • Useful when both parents work long hours

Holiday blocks

Dense runs of lessons while a boarder is home for the summer break, the Diwali holidays or a winter gap, planned around local fairs and family events.

  • Timed papers followed by prompt feedback
  • Makes full use of a short stay at home
  • Book two to three weeks before the break begins
  • Early-morning or late-evening slots in the hottest weeks

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Sabalgarh

01

Who in Sabalgarh asks for IB and IGCSE tuition, and why?

Mostly families whose child is, or soon will be, studying an international syllabus somewhere other than Sabalgarh: a posting that brought them to the town, a boarding seat in Delhi NCR or further away, or a plan for university abroad after Class 12. The town has no campus of its own that teaches these syllabuses, so the teaching has to come to the family instead.

Take the posted-officer household first. A bank manager, revenue official, school principal or engineer arrives in Sabalgarh with a child halfway through the Cambridge lower secondary years or the IB Middle Years. A local CBSE or Madhya Pradesh Board school will admit the child, but the syllabus changes under their feet. A private tutor who knows the original course lets the child keep that thread until the next transfer order arrives.

Then there are the boarders, and here distance does the sorting. Agra, about 159 kilometres away, has the nearest campuses we could confirm, Jaipur is around 226 kilometres off and Delhi NCR close to 386. A child living in a hostel there comes home for Diwali and the long summer break, and those weeks are exactly when a steady block of lessons pays for itself.

A third group stays put and stretches. These children remain in a local board school but add Cambridge-style Mathematics, Physics or English alongside it, usually because a parent wants stronger preparation for engineering, medicine or a degree abroad. For them the free first lesson doubles as a diagnostic, and the tutor reports honestly whether the extra load is realistic next to school work.

MP Board, CBSE, IGCSE or IB: how do they differ for a Sabalgarh student?

In short, MP Board and CBSE mostly ask a student to recall and apply a fixed textbook, IGCSE adds structured explanation and a choice of difficulty tier, and the IB Diploma stacks research, extended writing and a second language on top. For a Sabalgarh student, IGCSE in Class 9-10 is the gentler step, and the Diploma in Class 11 is the steepest climb.

What state-board training gives a student is speed with numbers and dependable recall of definitions. What needs reshaping is the written answer. A Cambridge Physics question may award marks for stating a principle, setting out the working and then interpreting the result, and an IB paper may go on to ask how far a model can be trusted. Students who have only practised short answers often lose marks here without seeing why.

Medium of instruction matters too. Many pupils in the Chambal belt study in Hindi or move between Hindi at home and English in class. International papers are in English, so a term of guided reading and writing, with technical vocabulary built from the student's own slips, usually pays off before new content does.

None of this makes the home board second-rate. It opens different doors, and in Madhya Pradesh it leads directly into state counselling and the national entrance tests. The table sets the four routes side by side from the viewpoint of a family in Sabalgarh.

03

What drives the fee for IB or IGCSE tuition from Sabalgarh?

Four things set the rate: the subject and level, how long and how often the lessons run, the tutor's experience with that exact course, and how close the exam is. This page carries no price list. The figure is agreed in writing before the free trial begins, so a family never has to guess what a month of lessons will cost.

Level matters most. A tutor teaching Higher Level Physics or Mathematics AA has prepared for a heavier syllabus, and few people have taught it recently, so the hourly rate sits above that for Grade 7 Science or PYP reading support. Experience adds to this. A tutor who has marked examination scripts or taken several cohorts through the same IGCSE tier will usually ask for more than a recent graduate, and a bigger weekly commitment may be priced differently again.

The honest comparison for Sabalgarh is not with a Gwalior coaching fee but with the whole cost of getting the same teaching face to face. A child who goes to Gwalior or Agra for classes needs bus tickets, a place to stay, a guardian and days away from school. A weekly online lesson removes all of that. What it adds is small: a dependable connection, a headset and a way to keep the laptop and router running if the supply wobbles.

If you would like a quotation, message us on WhatsApp with the board or programme, the subject, the level, the number of lessons a week and the next exam date. We reply with a written figure and a suggested schedule, and nothing is payable for the trial lesson.

04

Online one-to-one, a Gwalior coaching class, a local teacher or self-study: which fits?

For an IB or Cambridge syllabus, a live online tutor who has taught the exact course fits best, because the alternatives were built for other exams. Coaching in Gwalior is organised around state-board marks and entrance tests, a local teacher can be first-rate at school Mathematics and still be unfamiliar with Analysis and Approaches, and self-study works only for a student who can mark their own written answers. IB and IGCSE tutors in Sabalgarh fill that gap.

None of these routes is wrong; they answer different questions. If the goal is a high MP Board percentage or a JEE rank, a coaching class in Gwalior or Kota is designed for exactly that. If the goal is a strong IB or IGCSE grade, you need someone who can open the specification, name the command terms and mark a response against the real rubric.

Online lessons have costs of their own. You need a quiet corner, a steady connection and a child who will look at the screen. We suggest a trial month before judging, because most students settle after two or three sessions and the first impression is rarely the lasting one.

The table sets out the trade-offs side by side.

How do Sabalgarh's seasons and festivals fit around the exam calendar?

The IB Diploma exams fall in May and November, with May-session results arriving in early July and November-session results in early January. Cambridge IGCSE runs in February-March (offered to candidates in India), May-June and October-November, and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in January, May-June and October-November. A private candidate must be entered through an authorised centre, and the nearest one may be far away, so ask early.

Weather shapes the year more than the syllabus does. In May and June the Chambal belt sees temperatures in the mid-40s Celsius, and afternoon study is impractical. We therefore teach in the cooler evening hours and keep morning slots for weekends. The monsoon brings relief but uneven connectivity, and a few foggy weeks in December and January can disturb road and rail more than they disturb a lesson.

Then comes the farm and festival calendar. Wheat and mustard, the district's major crops, are cut around March and April, which also happens to be the busiest stretch of revision for a boarder who has come home. The nine-day Navratri fair at Alakhiya Khoh and the run-up to Diwali change household routines as well. A tutor who knows this will schedule mocks before the festival, not through it.

Plan backwards from the exam. Share the session date, and the tutor will mark out the revision weeks, the mock window and the quiet days around any family event.

06

Where can a Sabalgarh student go after the IB Diploma or IGCSE?

  • Ask the target university for its current IB or IGCSE entry rules before choosing Higher Level subjects
  • Check AIU equivalence early if the plan involves an Indian university
  • JEE, NEET and CUET-UG preparation runs separately on the Indian syllabus
  • Overseas offers depend on predicted IB grades or on IGCSE and A Level results

Anywhere an Indian or overseas university accepts those results. In India, the Association of Indian Universities issues an equivalence for the IB Diploma and for the A Level route that follows IGCSE, and that certificate is what most admission offices ask to see. CUET-UG then opens central universities, including Delhi University, to students from any recognised board.

Closer to home, Gwalior holds Jiwaji University, ABV-IIITM and the Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, along with Gajra Raja Medical College. Further out, Indore has IIT Indore and IIM Indore, and Bhopal has AIIMS Bhopal, IISER Bhopal and MANIT. For JEE and NEET, students who completed the IB or Cambridge can usually sit the tests if their subjects and marks satisfy the rules, but the papers follow the Indian syllabus, so separate preparation is needed.

Overseas applications run on predicted IB grades or on IGCSE and A Level results. UCAS in the UK, the Common Application in the United States and direct applications in Canada and Australia each keep their own deadlines, and a Sabalgarh family starting from scratch should begin about eighteen months before the intended entry.

None of this requires a student to leave Madhya Pradesh. Some choose the Diploma because it keeps both doors open: a place at an Indian university through CUET-UG if plans change, and an overseas option if they do not. Tutors explain how the choice of Higher Level subjects affects each route.

07

IB Maths AA or AI, and the sciences: how should a Chambal-belt student choose?

Choose Analysis and Approaches if engineering, physics, mathematics or computing may follow, and Applications and Interpretation if economics, business, psychology or the life sciences are more likely. Both are offered at Standard and Higher Level, and a tutor can work through a sample paper from each with you before you commit.

Analysis and Approaches leans on algebra, functions, calculus and proof, which suits a student who enjoys manipulating expressions. Applications and Interpretation brings in statistics, modelling and technology such as graphing calculators, and it works with real data. A farm family's child might model irrigation costs or crop prices for the exploration, though the investigation itself must remain the student's own.

In the sciences, local examples help recall. In Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies, the Chambal's gharial and river dolphins illustrate populations under pressure, and illegal sand mining is a recognised threat to the sanctuary. The Kuno cheetah programme shows what reintroduction involves. Physics and Chemistry form the base for engineering and medicine, with the data booklet and careful handling of units as the two commonest stumbling blocks.

A sensible combination for an engineering-minded student might be Maths AA HL, Physics HL, Chemistry HL, Economics SL, English A SL and Hindi B SL. Someone leaning toward medicine or life sciences could take Biology HL, Chemistry HL, Psychology HL, Maths AI SL, English A SL and Hindi B SL. These are examples only; the school's timetable decides what is actually on offer.

08

Core or Extended IGCSE, and how should Class 9 subjects be chosen?

Take Extended if there is any chance of A Level, the IB Diploma or a science degree; Core is a sound pick when the aim is a good foundation without maximum pressure. In Mathematics and the sciences Cambridge offers both tiers, and Core results top out at grade C while Extended can reach A*.

A typical load is six or seven subjects: English, Mathematics, two sciences or a combined science, a language, and electives such as Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science or Geography. Hindi is available as a second language, and whether English is taken as a First or Second Language depends on the student's fluency.

Edexcel's International GCSE is built differently. Mathematics A (4MA1) offers Foundation and Higher tiers and is assessed by final papers, whereas Cambridge uses Core and Extended, and the two boards differ in coursework and practical rules as well. A student sits one board's papers per subject, and the tutor works from that board's specification.

For a student in Class 8 or 9 the most useful thing a first lesson can do is a diagnostic: a short paper in each target subject, then a frank conversation about tier and timing. The result usually makes the Core or Extended decision obvious.

Where we tutor

Sabalgarh localities and neighbouring towns we teach online

Every lesson is on video, so these places are context rather than meeting points: they show which families share a school catchment, how far each sits from the nearest international campus and where timetables bend for local reasons.

Fort quarter

The old lanes beneath the ruined fort, whose story involves Karauli's rajas, the Marathas and the Scindias. That history makes a ready case study for IB Individuals and Societies projects.

Market and bus-stand side

The busy commercial core, home to shop-owning and trading families. Daily buses connect Sabalgarh with Morena, Gwalior, Agra, Jaipur and Delhi, which is how boarders and college students make most of their journeys.

Alakhiya Khoh

The Kali Mata temple site that holds a nine-day fair at Navratri. Crowds can upset evening routines for those days, so lesson times nearby are agreed in advance.

Kailaras

About 23 kilometres away, a tehsil town of Morena district with its own railway station. Families there usually look to Morena and Gwalior for schooling, and online lessons remove that dependence.

Vijaypur

Roughly 34 kilometres off, in Sheopur district, with the Kuno river country close by. A handy source of local cases for Environmental Systems and Societies.

Joura

Around 44 kilometres away, a sub-division headquarters of Morena district with a railway station. Its students share Sabalgarh's problem of distance from any international campus.

Karauli (Rajasthan)

Just across the state line, about 64 kilometres away and tied to the fort's history. For online lessons the border is irrelevant, though exam centres and boards differ on each side.

Morena

The district headquarters, 72 kilometres away, on the Delhi-Mumbai main railway line. It is the usual gateway to Gwalior, Agra and Delhi for families travelling out of Sabalgarh.

Banmore

An industrial area of Morena district with a large tyre factory. Engineers and managers posted to plants like this are the kind of household that sometimes asks for bridge lessons after a transfer.

Gwalior

About 109 kilometres away, with universities, a medical college and coaching institutes. We found no verified IB or Cambridge campus there, so it serves Sabalgarh as a college city rather than an international-school one.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Sabalgarh

Sabalgarh, Morena and Gwalior

CBSE and Madhya Pradesh Board schools are plentiful, but no IB or Cambridge IGCSE campus has been verified in this stretch. Gwalior is about 109 kilometres from Sabalgarh.

    Nearby: Agra

About 159 kilometres by road, and the closest city where confirmed international campuses exist. A day trip is long, so most families treat it as a boarding or relocation question.

    • Sharda World School (IB PYP, MYP and Diploma)
    • DPS Taj City (Cambridge Pathway; IGCSE planned from 2027-28)

    Nearby: Jaipur

Around 226 kilometres away. The Rajasthan capital has several schools confirmed for IB or Cambridge programmes, spread across its western and southern suburbs.

    • Jayshree Periwal International School
    • Mayoor School Jaipur
    • India International School, Mansarovar

    Nearby: Bhopal and Indore

Roughly 487 kilometres to Bhopal. Both Madhya Pradesh cities have campuses confirmed for the IB and Cambridge, which matters to families who want to stay within the state.

    • Eastern Public School, Bhopal (IB and CAIE curriculum)
    • Choithram International, Indore (IB and CAIE curriculum)

    Boarding: Gurugram and Delhi NCR

About 386 kilometres to Delhi. Several boarding and day campuses here draw students from across north and central India. Home visits by our tutors exist only in this region, but lessons at home online are open to a boarder in the holidays.

    • Pathways World School, Aravali
    • The Shri Ram School, Aravali
    • GD Goenka World School

No IB World School and no Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE centre turned up for Sabalgarh, Morena or Gwalior during our checks, which is why the school strip stays empty. The campuses named below are in other cities. They are listed only to show where physical options exist, and IB Gram is an independent tutoring service with no tie to any of them, to the IB, to Cambridge or to Pearson.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Sabalgarh: your questions answered

How do I find an IB tutor in Sabalgarh?+

Send us the programme, subject, level and exam session by email or WhatsApp, and we will match a tutor who has taught that course. Sabalgarh has no IB school we could confirm, so we look across India, not in the town. You receive a shortlist, a free trial lesson and a written plan. Lessons run live and one-to-one at a time that suits your child's school and household.

Will a tutor come to our house in Sabalgarh?+

No, tutors do not visit homes in Sabalgarh. In-person home tuition runs only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Here, home tuition means a private online lesson that your child takes at home on a laptop or tablet, with the tutor's attention on one student for the whole hour. Your child stays in familiar surroundings and needs no bus ride to Morena or Gwalior.

Is there an IB or Cambridge school in Sabalgarh?+

Not one that we could confirm. Schools in the town follow the Madhya Pradesh Board or CBSE, and neither Morena nor Gwalior shows a verified IB or Cambridge campus either. The closest confirmed campuses are in Agra and Jaipur, with more in Bhopal, Indore and Delhi NCR. Should a local school receive IB or Cambridge authorisation, let us know and we will check the official school directory before changing this page.

Can my child study IGCSE from Sabalgarh?+

Yes, online, with Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel IGCSE papers. We match the tutor to the paper code and tier, such as 0580 Extended Mathematics or 4MA1 Mathematics A. The student may be at a boarding school, preparing for a move or sitting papers as a private candidate. Private entry needs an authorised exam centre, so find out where the nearest one is before you plan the session.

What does IB or IGCSE tuition cost for a Sabalgarh student?+

The figure depends on subject, level, lesson length and who teaches, and you receive it in writing before the trial lesson. There is no public price list. A Higher Level Diploma course commands more than primary-years help, and the online format saves the fares, lodging and school days that going to Gwalior or Agra for tuition would use up.

My child studies the MP Board syllabus. Can they add IGCSE-level Maths or Science?+

Yes, and plenty of students do. The real shift is in how answers are written: Cambridge marks the method and the explanation as well as the result, whereas many board papers reward the final answer alone. A tutor extends the content to Extended level and trains presentation. The first lesson is a diagnostic, so you can see how much extra time is realistic beside school work.

What happens in the free trial lesson?+

The trial is a real, live lesson on a topic from your child's syllabus, with the tutor working through it and checking understanding as it goes. It costs nothing, and you are welcome to sit in. Afterwards the tutor suggests a first-month plan and you decide whether to continue. If the fit feels wrong, we arrange a different tutor, and the rate stays in writing throughout.

Can a tutor help with my child's IA or Extended Essay?+

A tutor can coach but never author. Expect help with reading the assessment criteria, narrowing a research question, planning how to gather and present evidence and reacting to drafts your child has written. Nothing is written for the student, whether it is an IA, Extended Essay, TOK essay or coursework, and that boundary protects both the final grade and your child's record with the IB or Cambridge.

Which IB Diploma subjects can you cover?+

Most of the popular ones: both Mathematics courses at HL and SL, the three sciences, Environmental Systems and Societies, Economics, Business Management, Geography, Psychology, Computer Science, English A and Hindi B, depending on who is free at your hours. Something rarer, such as a less common language, is worth asking about, and we will say straight away whether a suitable tutor exists.

Is there tutoring for younger children on MYP or PYP?+

Yes. For MYP we work through criterion-based tasks in Sciences, Mathematics and Language and Literature, and on the journal kept for the Personal Project. For PYP the focus is reading, writing and number sense, plus the unit work set in class. Children this young do better with short lessons and a parent in the room for the first weeks.

Is online tuition reliable in Sabalgarh?+

It works well for families with a steady connection, and the practical steps are simple. Use a laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone, keep a phone hotspot as backup and charge the device before the lesson. If the connection or power fails, tell the tutor early and the session is moved, usually by a day, so no hour is simply lost.

What time of day suits lessons in the Sabalgarh summer?+

Evenings, after the day's heat has eased, are the practical choice, with early mornings on weekends as an alternative. From May to June, temperatures in the Chambal belt often touch the mid-40s Celsius, so afternoon study is hard. Tell us your cooler hours and the tutor will fix a slot, then keep it constant so the routine holds even when the weather turns.

Are tutors checked before they are matched?+

Yes. Before a tutor is offered, we review their qualifications, what they have actually taught recently at that level and how they work with marking criteria, and we ask for a short demonstration. Even so, the free trial is the truest check: your child sees the teaching first-hand, and a poor match is swapped for another tutor.

When should a Sabalgarh student start IB or IGCSE tuition?+

As early in the course as possible: Class 9 for IGCSE, Class 11 for the Diploma and MYP Year 4 for the later criteria work. Early starts leave time to close gaps before internal assessments and mocks. A late starter can still use a focused block before the exam, and should give the exam date in the first message.

Can you teach Hindi for the IB or IGCSE?+

Hindi B is taught for the IB at SL and HL, and Hindi as a Second Language is covered at IGCSE, subject to tutor availability. Hindi A: Literature is possible where a suitable tutor exists. Tell us the level and exam session, and we confirm availability before the trial so you know whether the match works.

Do you teach students from Kailaras, Joura and Vijaypur too?+

Yes. Lessons are online, so a student in Kailaras, Joura, Vijaypur or any village around Sabalgarh joins in the same way. Distance changes nothing except the exam centre you may need as a private candidate and the quality of the connection, so tell us your location and we advise on both.

Is IB Gram connected to a school, the IB or an exam board?+

No. IB Gram runs on its own, with no link to the IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel or the schools mentioned here. Those schools are named solely so families can see where real campuses stand, and each name was checked against public listings. Our advice never depends on a school partnership, because there is none.

    How do I get started?+

Write to support@ibgram.com or WhatsApp +91 7439 368 115, mentioning the programme, subject, level, recent marks and the hours that suit you. Have a laptop or tablet with a camera, a microphone and a dependable connection ready. A reply with a tutor shortlist and possible trial slots normally follows within a working day.
