IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Ratangarh

If you are looking for IB or IGCSE home tuition in Ratangarh, here is how it works: a subject specialist teaches your child one to one over a live video call, from your own sitting room, with no tutor travelling to the house. The junction town on the Jaipur, Bikaner and Delhi lines has no school running either curriculum, so the lessons carry the syllabus themselves, marked against the real IB criteria or Cambridge and Edexcel mark schemes.

  • Matching starts from the subject code, level and exam series, not from a loose request for an IB tutor
  • Lessons run online; tutors do not visit homes in Ratangarh, because home visits exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
  • A free trial lesson on your child's own topic comes before any plan or payment
  • An independent service with no tie to any school, exam board or the IB itself

IB & IGCSE in Ratangarh

Private IB and IGCSE tuition when the nearest campus is a long train ride away

Ratangarh is known for its railway junction, its grain and trading markets and the havelis of the wider Shekhawati region, not for international schooling. The schools here follow CBSE and the Rajasthan board, and we could not confirm any that teaches the IB or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE. A parent who wants one of those qualifications for a child has two real options: move the child to a campus in another city, or keep the child at home and bring a specialist in through a screen.

The second option is what this page is about. A tutor who has recently taught IB Chemistry HL or IGCSE Additional Mathematics is exactly as reachable from a house near Ratangarh's bus stand as from a flat in Jaipur, because the lesson was always going to be a video call. What matters is that the person on the other end knows the specification, the command terms and the way marks are actually awarded.

Families who ask for this in a town of Ratangarh's size tend to be recognisable. Some are Marwari business households with cousins or branches in Kolkata, Mumbai or abroad and a child likely to study overseas. Some are railway, bank or government employees who expect a transfer and want a child to hold an international syllabus steady. Others are simply planning early for a boarding move to Jaipur, Mussoorie or Dehradun for the Diploma years.

IB Gram is independent. It has no affiliation with the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, Pearson or any school named on this page, and its tutors coach rather than ghost-write: no Internal Assessment, Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge essay or coursework is ever written for a student.

At a glance

  • IB PYP, MYP and Diploma subjects, matched to the exact level your child is taking
  • Cambridge Core and Extended, and Pearson Edexcel Foundation and Higher tiers
  • One-to-one live sessions on a laptop, all in Indian Standard Time
  • A free trial lesson before you commit to anything
  • No tutor visits in Ratangarh; in-person home tuition is limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Ratangarh school years

With no local school to set a timetable, a Ratangarh family usually arrives in one of three ways: a child already inside a programme elsewhere who has moved home, a child at a CBSE school whose parents want an international route opened up early, or a younger child being prepared years ahead. Each case leaves the tutor carrying more of the real teaching than a normal top-up would.

PYPClass Nursery-5, ages 3-11

IB Primary Years Programme

The programme organises learning around big transdisciplinary themes rather than a daily run of separate subjects, and ends with a student-led Exhibition. Nothing is externally examined, so a tutor's real job is reading fluency, number sense, and helping a child phrase a good question before hunting for the answer.

In Ratangarh, PYP enquiries are nearly always continuity cases: a young child who began the programme in a metro and now needs the habits kept alive through a stretch at the family's home in Churu district.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Each subject is graded against four criteria rather than one total, interdisciplinary units link subjects together, and the Personal Project closes the final year. Students used to a single end-of-year paper often find criterion-based tasks unfamiliar until somebody shows them how to read the descriptors.

A Ratangarh MYP student coming from a CBSE background typically needs help turning textbook answers into reasoned ones, and planning a Personal Project journal without a school coordinator down the corridor.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

Six subjects are taken across three Higher and three Standard Level slots, framed by Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and the CAS requirement. The Internal Assessments are submitted months before the May papers and carry real weight in the final grade.

Diploma students linked to Ratangarh are usually either boarding elsewhere for school and wanting extra specialist time at home, or preparing predicted-grade evidence for a university application abroad.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

Two Diploma subjects combine with a career-related study, a reflective project and a personal and professional skills course. Few Indian schools run it, so most enquiries concern the Diploma subjects inside the framework.

CP is a rarity in this part of Rajasthan. When it comes up, the tutoring is on the two academic subjects and the reflective project, not on the framework around them.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Saying a child needs an IB tutor tells us very little. The subject, the level and the stage of the coursework decide everything, and two Ratangarh students both doing IB Mathematics can need entirely different lessons if one is on Analysis and Approaches HL and the other on Applications and Interpretation SL.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Calculus depth, proof-style reasoning and the unfamiliar multi-step problems of Paper 3 at HL, with the Exploration planned early rather than written in a panic.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Statistics, modelling with technology and calculator fluency, with the Exploration centred on data a student can genuinely collect.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics through to fields and quantum topics, data-booklet speed, and a Scientific Investigation whose method can actually be defended.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Stoichiometry and bonding first, then organic pathways and energetics, plus practical skill with uncertainties in the Investigation.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Command-term precision, enough statistics to justify a conclusion, and long-answer structure that moves beyond recalled facts.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Labelled diagrams tied to a live, specific example, with the commentary portfolio built from news a student really follows.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case-study application and the Internal Assessment, which works best when the student studies a real local organisation such as a trading firm or mill.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Unseen-text analysis, comparative essays and the Individual Oral, for students whose home language is Hindi or Rajasthani.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Algorithmic thinking, data structures, object-oriented programming and a documented solution for the IA.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Named studies, research methods and the discipline of writing a structured evaluative answer.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL

Systems thinking applied to water scarcity, arid land use and energy, topics a Churu student can argue from lived experience.

IB Hindi B

HL / SL

Written register, formal letters and structured oral practice for a student who speaks the language but has rarely been graded on it.

IB Theory of Knowledge

Core

Coaching on knowledge questions, the Exhibition and the essay planning process, never the writing itself.

IB History

HL / SL

Source evaluation for Paper 1 and sustained argument across the longer Paper 2 essay.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

Cambridge and Edexcel both sell an IGCSE, but they are separate exams with separate papers. Matching begins with board, subject code and tier, then works back from the series a Ratangarh student will sit, and whether the Diploma or an A Level follows.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Non-calculator fluency, full working shown on every line and steady accuracy across two long papers at Extended.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Early calculus, functions and vectors, a useful bridge for anyone eyeing Maths AA at the Diploma.

Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A 4MA1

Foundation / Higher

A different question style from Cambridge, which means practising on Edexcel's own past papers rather than borrowed ones.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Forces, electricity and waves, plus the alternative-to-practical paper that costs careful students more marks than they expect.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, bonding and organic chemistry, with fast rearrangement of equations under exam time.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Genetics, transport in organisms and ecology, written up in full sentences that earn the marks.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Diagram confidence and the short evaluative paragraph that separates a C from an A.

IGCSE Business Studies 0450

Grade 9-10

Applying terms to the scenario printed on the paper, a natural fit for students from trading families.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Trace tables, pseudocode and a steady programming habit alongside the theory.

IGCSE English as a Second Language 0510

Core / Extended

Reading, writing and speaking assessment for students whose first language at home is Hindi or Marwari.

IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language 0549

Grade 9-10

Comprehension, composition and structured speaking preparation.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Ratangarh school timetables

In Ratangarh the format is online, one to one, live. A hybrid version would need a local school to pair with, and a tutor visiting your door is something IB Gram offers only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. What changes from family to family is the rhythm: a slow weekly build, a documented term plan, or a tight revision block before a sitting.

Steady weekly lessons by video

A fixed slot each week with the same tutor, following the syllabus at the pace your child's school term or home-study plan allows.

  • A specialist from anywhere in India rather than whoever lives in Churu district
  • Past papers worked and marked live on a shared screen
  • The same tutor throughout, so nobody re-learns your child each month
  • Handles DP, MYP and IGCSE in the same arrangement

Term plan with written records

The weekly pattern plus paperwork: a note after each session and a scheduled review, useful for parents who want visible progress.

  • Short written summary after every lesson
  • A review every few weeks to catch drift early
  • Well suited to younger MYP and PYP students
  • Extra sessions can be added near mocks

Focused revision block before an exam

A compressed stretch of three or four lessons a week on timed papers, placed to avoid the hottest afternoons and the big festival weeks.

  • Timed papers marked to the current specification
  • Quick feedback, usually within a day or two
  • Holi and Diwali weeks planned out in advance
  • Best begun about six weeks before the first paper

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Ratangarh

01

IB and IGCSE schools and families around Ratangarh

  • No IB or IGCSE school confirmed in Ratangarh
  • Jaipur is the usual long-term plan for a campus
  • Families are mostly trading, railway, banking or government households
  • The exam papers sat from home are the same ones sat anywhere

Start with what Ratangarh actually has: CBSE and Rajasthan Board schools, coaching for the state and national entrance tests, and a long commercial tradition that sends its young people into trade, banking, chartered accountancy and government service. We found nothing in the town confirming an IB authorisation or a Cambridge or Edexcel centre, so the honest position is that there is no local campus to point you to.

The nearest places where families actually look are Jaipur, reachable by road through Sikar or by train, and the Delhi region beyond it. Bikaner sits closer but its international options are thin, so most serious plans run through the capital of Rajasthan. Some families, especially those with relatives in Kolkata or Mumbai, choose a city where a cousin can act as local guardian.

The households asking about these qualifications here are a mixed group. Business families from Ratangarh have long had branches and relatives across India and abroad, and a child who may eventually study in the UK, Singapore or the United States starts to look for a curriculum that travels. Railway and government employees moved in and out of the junction sometimes want the child's syllabus to survive a transfer.

That is why online tuition fits so neatly. The same specialist who teaches a Jaipur Diploma student can teach a Ratangarh one, on the same timetable and against the same mark scheme, without either family losing an hour to travel through the summer heat.

Is an IB or IGCSE syllabus very different from CBSE or the Rajasthan board?

  • The main shift is from recall to reasoned application
  • Coursework and IAs need months of planning, not a last week
  • HL Mathematics and sciences sit above CBSE depth
  • Precise English command terms matter from day one

Yes, in how it asks questions more than in what it covers. A Class 10 student in Ratangarh who scores well on CBSE has typically learned to reproduce a method accurately. IGCSE and the IB reward that too, but they then add tasks where the method is unfamiliar and the student must choose an approach and defend it in writing.

Assessment weight differs as well. Much of the Rajasthan board's marking rests on a single year-end paper, while an IB Internal Assessment or an IGCSE coursework or practical component is marked against published criteria and sits inside the final grade. Planning it across months is a skill nobody picks up by chance, and it is usually the first thing Ratangarh transfers underestimate.

Depth varies by level. IB Mathematics HL and the HL sciences go clearly beyond Class 12 CBSE in places, while IGCSE Core sits near familiar ground and Extended pushes past it. Language is the quiet factor: answers in precise English, including command terms like evaluate and justify, matter from the first paper.

None of this makes the newer route harder in every respect. Many families find that a criteria-driven system with continuous coursework spreads pressure better than one enormous exam, provided the planning is done early.

03

What shapes the price of IB and IGCSE tuition for a Ratangarh student?

  • Level, subject, session length and tutor scarcity drive the rate
  • No travel element applies to Ratangarh lessons
  • Quotes are given in writing before booking
  • Pausing or changing tutor carries no penalty

The rate depends on the programme and level, the subject, the length and frequency of sessions and how scarce a tutor with current experience is. Diploma HL Physics or Chemistry is priced differently from Class 8 MYP Science simply because fewer people have taught it recently. IB Gram does not publish prices; the quote comes in writing before you book anything.

Travel is the cost that disappears. Where a tutor can physically visit, distance and time raise the rate, which is why in-person tuition in Gurugram is priced with that in mind. In Ratangarh every lesson is a video call, so a specialist based in Pune costs a family the same as one based in Jaipur.

Judging by hourly rate alone can mislead. A tutor who knows the IB Physics data booklet and the Investigation criteria may reach in one session what a cheaper generalist needs three for. Ask exactly what each lesson will cover, how past papers are marked and whether you receive notes afterwards.

There is no lock-in. Plans are reviewed regularly, sessions can be paused, and if the trial lesson does not suit, a different tutor is offered rather than pressure to continue.

04

How does online tuition compare with coaching classes, home tutors and studying alone in Ratangarh?

  • Coaching batches here serve board, state and entrance exams
  • Local tutors seldom have IB or IGCSE teaching history
  • Self-study lacks outside judgement on coursework
  • Online tuition gives syllabus-matched one-to-one attention

Ratangarh's coaching culture points towards the Rajasthan board exams, RPSC-style government recruitment tests and, for ambitious students, JEE and NEET, with many heading to Sikar or Kota for that. Those batches are built for different syllabuses, so an IB Chemistry HL student sitting in one gains little that is exam-specific.

A local private tutor is easy to find and often affordable, and can help a younger child with routine and homework. The difficulty is narrower: very few have taught IGCSE or IB recently, since no local school uses either, so familiarity with mark schemes and assessment rubrics is rare.

Self-study can work well for IGCSE Mathematics, where past papers are plentiful and feedback is predictable. It struggles wherever judgement from outside is needed, such as choosing a research question, structuring an essay or learning what an examiner treats as a developed answer.

Online specialist tuition is the route that reliably puts a tutor with current syllabus knowledge in front of the student, without relocating anyone. It does not replace a school's timetable, and families should plan registration for the actual exams separately.

Planning around Thar heat, winter cold and Ratangarh's festivals

  • May and June heat rules out afternoon study
  • Winter fog affects morning routines more than evening lessons
  • Weddings and festivals remove whole weeks from the calendar
  • Exam series stay fixed, so the plan must work backwards from them

Churu district is among the hottest places in India in May and June, with temperatures frequently above 45 degrees, and among the coldest in Rajasthan in December and January, when frost and dense fog are common. Both extremes affect study in practice: afternoons in early summer are for rest, and winter mornings are slow to start.

The local calendar adds its own pauses. Gangaur and Teej in the spring and monsoon months, Holi, Raksha Bandhan and Diwali all bring guests, travel and several days of disrupted routine. Weddings cluster in the cooler months too, and in a town where families are large and close, a cousin's wedding can remove a week.

Exam dates, however, do not move for any of this. IB Diploma papers are in May with results in early July, and a smaller November session exists. Cambridge IGCSE runs in May and June and in October and November, and Edexcel in January and May to June. A plan working backwards from those dates, with the heaviest lessons placed in the cooler months, suits Ratangarh better than an even weekly spread.

For students in Grade 10, the practical fork is between a January Edexcel attempt and a May sitting with Cambridge; for Class 12, it is getting IAs submitted before the summer break makes everything harder.

Ratangarh's year against the IB and IGCSE calendar
PeriodLocal conditionsStudy plan implication
December-JanuaryCold, fog, weddingsShort lessons in the late morning or evening; Edexcel January papers for some
March-AprilHoli, Gangaur, warming daysGood window for IA drafts and topic completion

October-NovemberDiwali, cooler weather, November seriesIdeal for resits and first-time IGCSE sessions
06

Where do IB and IGCSE students from Ratangarh go next?

  • Domestic options include Rajasthan universities and larger metros
  • AIU equivalence, CUET-UG and JEE or NEET rules need checking per year
  • Predicted grades drive overseas offers
  • Exam registration for a home-based student must be arranged separately

The destinations fall into three groups. Some stay in India, applying to universities in Jaipur, Delhi, Pune or Bengaluru, and in Rajasthan to places such as Bikaner's state university and Jaipur's private campuses. Some go into family business after a degree. A smaller number apply abroad, to the UK, Canada, Singapore or the United States.

Indian routes need paperwork. The Association of Indian Universities equivalence certificate is commonly requested for admission, CUET-UG is open to IB and IGCSE students subject to each university's subject rules, and JEE Main and NEET eligibility depends on having studied the right subjects at the right level. A family should check each institution's current notice rather than rely on hearsay.

Applications abroad run on predicted grades issued by a school, which are sent months before May results. A student studying independently of a school has an extra step, since someone must be able to issue a credible prediction and register the candidate; this should be settled with a school or an exam centre early.

Our tutors do not run admissions consultancy. They strengthen the subject and the technique so that the grade, predicted and real, rises on the strength of the work.

07

IB Maths AA or AI, and getting the sciences right from Ratangarh

  • AA leans abstract; AI leans towards data and technology
  • Physics and Chemistry lose marks in setup and organic topics
  • Biology rewards exact command-term answers
  • Investigations need feasible home experiments and early planning

Between Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation, difficulty is not the dividing line. AA suits students comfortable with abstraction who may head towards engineering, pure science or economics. AI suits those who prefer data, modelling and technology, and who plan to study business, social sciences or design.

In Physics the recurring stumbling block is setting up a problem before calculating, and for Chemistry it is the jump from bonding to organic mechanisms and energetics. A student in Ratangarh without a classroom to ask in needs a tutor who spots these early and keeps a worked-solutions record they can reread.

Biology marks often go to students who use the exact command term, so define, compare and evaluate are practised as distinct tasks. Practical work is an extra challenge at home: the Internal Assessment needs a genuine investigation, which means planning an experiment a student can carry out safely with household or school materials.

For all four subjects, the Internal Assessment timeline is the one to protect. Start by choosing the question in the first half of the year and leave time for one full draft and feedback.

08

Choosing IGCSE subjects and tiers from Ratangarh

  • Choose subjects for the destination, not just convenience
  • Extended tier suits anyone eyeing HL Mathematics or sciences
  • Language subjects add a dependable result
  • Check which exam centre will register the candidate before choosing the board

IGCSE gives a home-based student unusual freedom: subjects can be chosen for where the student wants to go rather than for what a timetable allows. That freedom needs care, because there is no school counsellor quietly correcting a poor combination in Grade 9.

Tier choice is the main decision. Core caps the grade at a C, which can suit a student who needs a steady result, while Extended keeps A star open and is the sensible path for a child thinking of the IB Diploma Mathematics or science at HL. For such students, Extended Mathematics with Additional Mathematics is a strong base.

Language subjects deserve thought. For Ratangarh students, English as a Second Language and Hindi as a Second Language are realistic additions that give a solid record without requiring a foreign language from scratch.

Edexcel or Cambridge is the last decision. Both are respected; the choice often depends on which centre is prepared to register a private candidate, and on exam session dates that suit the family's calendar.

09

How does matching work for a Ratangarh family?

  • Brief first, names second
  • Recent teaching experience is checked before a tutor is offered
  • The trial lesson is the decision point
  • A poor fit leads to a new tutor

It starts with a short conversation: the board and subject, the level or tier, where marks stand now, the exam session and what is going wrong. Sometimes it is a weak topic, sometimes an IA deadline, sometimes a whole change of curriculum.

From that we shortlist tutors who have taught that precise course, and we check recent experience and their approach to coursework guidance before any name is shared. Since there is no local school here to cross-check, this step carries extra weight.

The free trial lesson is where you judge fit: is the explanation clear, are the questions diagnostic, is your child relaxed enough to say when something is unclear? After that a month-one plan is written, which you may change freely.

If the fit turns out to be wrong, the tutor changes, not the child.

Where we tutor

Ratangarh localities our online IB and IGCSE tutors serve

Every lesson runs online, so a locality matters only for context: which boards its families mostly follow, what the evening schedule looks like, and how far it sits from the railway lines and highways that decide how often parents visit Jaipur or Bikaner.

Ratangarh Junction and Station Road

The railway colony and the market belt around it, home to several railway families used to transfers and to weighing a change of board.

Bus Stand and Sujangarh Road

A busy commercial stretch where trading families often prefer a fixed late-evening lesson after the shop day ends.

Purani Abadi (old town)

Dense, older lanes with joint households; online lessons here fit in around shared family routines and limited quiet rooms.

Churu Road

A residential and institutional stretch towards the district headquarters, with mixed CBSE and Rajasthan board households.

Bikaner Road

Newer plots and colonies on the Bikaner side, where families tend to have the most reliable broadband for video lessons.

Sadulpur side

Families who commute or trade between Ratangarh and Sadulpur Junction, with a steady connection to the Delhi line.

Sardarshahar direction

Households from the western side of Churu district who travel in for schooling and often run lessons after the return journey.

Fatehpur and Shekhawati side

Families with ties to the haveli towns of Shekhawati, often business households thinking long term about study abroad.

Taranagar direction

Northern Churu households, frequently in agriculture and trade, who value a lesson time that stays fixed through the harvest weeks.

  • Jayshree Periwal International School
  • Mayoor School Jaipur

Nearby: Delhi NCR

Reached by the Delhi line from Sadulpur, this is where business families with relatives in the capital sometimes plan a move for the Diploma years.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Ratangarh: your questions answered

Is there an IB or IGCSE school in Ratangarh?+

We could not confirm one. The schools we found in Ratangarh follow CBSE or the Rajasthan board, and the nearest campuses with international curricula that we have named are in Jaipur and Delhi NCR. That gap is why most families here approach IB and IGCSE through an online specialist tutor rather than a nearby classroom.

Does a tutor come to our house in Ratangarh?+

No. In-person home visits exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. For Ratangarh the tuition is live, one to one and online: your child sits at home with a laptop and the tutor teaches over video with a shared screen, so it is home tuition in setting but not in delivery.

Can you teach both Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE?+

Yes, for both boards. Cambridge is matched by subject code and Core or Extended tier, for example Mathematics 0580. Edexcel is matched by specification and Foundation or Higher tier, for example Mathematics A 4MA1. The tutor works from the correct board's papers and mark schemes, which differ even when the topic names look identical.

How much does an IB or IGCSE tutor cost for a student in Ratangarh?+

The price depends on programme, level, subject, session length and how scarce recent experience is, so we quote in writing after hearing your child's needs. We do not publish fixed rates. There is no travel cost in the quote because every Ratangarh lesson is online, and you can leave without penalty.

Is the first lesson really free?+

Yes. Your child takes a full trial lesson on material from their own syllabus, with no fee and no obligation. Afterwards you receive a short written plan for the first month, and whether to continue, adjust or stop is entirely your decision.

Will you write my child's Internal Assessment or Extended Essay?+

No. Tutors coach only. They can help choose a workable research question, explain the assessment criteria and give honest feedback on drafts your child wrote. Writing graded text for a student would breach academic integrity rules, and it is not something we do for any subject or level.

Which IB Diploma subjects are available?+

Most of the commonly taken ones: Mathematics AA and AI, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Management, English, Computer Science, Psychology, Environmental Systems and Societies, Hindi and History, plus coaching around Theory of Knowledge. If yours is missing, ask, because the tutor pool is wider than this page lists.

Can a CBSE student from Ratangarh move to IGCSE or IB?+

It is possible and quite common, but the transition is mainly about answer style. Content overlaps more than parents expect in Mathematics and the sciences; what needs work is explaining reasoning, meeting command terms and managing coursework. Starting in Grade 9 or Class 11 gives comfortable time, though a later start can still work.

How do exams work if there is no school in Ratangarh?+

A candidate must be registered through an authorised school or exam centre, which for Ratangarh usually means a centre in another city. Cambridge and Edexcel both accept private candidates at some centres, while the IB Diploma normally requires an authorised school. Check this before choosing a route; tutoring does not change it.

What are the exam dates I should plan for?+

IB Diploma papers run in May with results in early July, and a smaller session is held in November. Cambridge IGCSE is in May to June and October to November, while Edexcel IGCSE runs in January and May to June. Exact timetables are published each year by the boards.

What times do lessons usually run in Ratangarh?+

Weekday evenings and weekend mornings are most common, after school and before dinner. In May and June we avoid afternoons because of the heat, and in winter we keep late sessions short. Exams, weddings and festivals are scheduled around in advance, and an extra lesson before a mock is easy to arrange.

What about younger children in PYP or MYP?+

They are covered. PYP sessions build reading, writing and number confidence and support Exhibition research in shorter, more frequent sittings. MYP work usually focuses on criterion-based writing in the sciences and in Language and Literature, along with planning the Personal Project journal and its deadlines.

Is online tuition as effective as a classroom?+

For one-to-one teaching it works well, because the tutor sees the student's working on a shared screen, marks past papers live and adjusts instantly. It does need a steady internet connection and a quiet space. What it cannot provide is a school timetable, so students still need to organise registration and practical work.

How are tutors selected for Ratangarh students?+

We check qualifications, recent teaching of the exact subject and level, and understanding of current assessment criteria. Because Ratangarh has no local school to benchmark against, recent hands-on experience is the standard. The trial lesson then lets you form your own view before any commitment.

What if my child does not get along with the tutor?+

We change the tutor. Regular reviews are designed to catch a poor fit early, and there is no contract forcing your child to continue. You can also pause the lessons altogether, for example during a wedding season or a long festival break.

Is IB Gram connected to any school or exam board?+

No. It is an independent tutoring service with no affiliation to the IB, Cambridge, Pearson or any school in Ratangarh, Jaipur or elsewhere. Schools are named on this page only to describe where families in the region look for campuses. Contact support@ibgram.com or WhatsApp +91 7439 368 115 to begin.
