IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Rajakhera

A parent in Rajakhera searching for IB or IGCSE home tuition usually wants private, one-to-one teaching at the family's own table. That is available here as an online lesson: a specialist logs in from another Indian city, teaches live, and your child never leaves the house. No tutor visits Rajakhera in person; home visits operate only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

  • Each shortlist is built around your child's real IB subject and level or IGCSE syllabus code
  • Lessons are online; in-person home tuition is limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
  • A free trial lesson comes first, and fees are sent in writing before booking
  • IB Gram has no link to any Rajakhera school, the IB, Cambridge or Pearson

IB & IGCSE in Rajakhera

IB and IGCSE tuition for a family living in Rajakhera

Rajakhera sits in Dholpur district, in the far east of Rajasthan where the state meets Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The Chambal ravines run to the south, mustard and wheat fill the fields, and the sandstone quarries around Dholpur supply stone to builders across northern India. Agra is the big city people look toward, roughly an hour or so by road from Dholpur town, and many families have relatives or business ties there.

Education in Rajakhera follows the Rajasthan Board (RBSE) in Hindi medium, with some CBSE schools and a growing number of English-medium private ones. IB and Cambridge IGCSE do not feature. We found no IB World School and no Cambridge or Edexcel centre in Rajakhera and have no wish to invent one for the sake of a page.

So who writes to us? Mostly parents whose jobs, or whose relatives' jobs, sit elsewhere: an army or railway posting, an engineer in the Gulf, a cousin in Canada who suggested the Diploma. A few are state board families who see a younger child racing ahead and want something broader than the Class 10 and 12 grind.

The workable model is an online tutor matched to the exact course. No tutor travels to Rajakhera, because our in-person home tuition operates only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. IB Gram is independent of any school or awarding body, and a tutor coaches without ever writing a student's coursework.

IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Rajakhera school years

No programme below is taught in a Rajakhera classroom as far as we know. Here is what each looks like when a family meets it through a move, a relative or private preparation, and how a tutor helps at that stage.

PYPClass 1-5, ages 6-11

IB Primary Years Programme

Picture a Class 4 child asked why monsoons matter to a farmer, then reading, measuring rainfall and presenting to the class: that is a PYP unit. The programme closes with the Exhibition, a collaborative inquiry. Tutors keep early literacy and arithmetic strong and coax a shy child into explaining an idea aloud.

Children from Hindi-medium primary classes in Rajakhera often need extra spoken English before inquiry units flow comfortably.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Marks in MYP come from published criteria, not a single total, and students finish with a self-directed Personal Project. Words such as 'discuss' or 'justify' have a defined weight. A tutor shows what a top-band answer sounds like and has the student write one.

A student leaving an RBSE classroom for MYP usually meets criterion-based marking and long written answers for the first time.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

The Diploma pairs six subjects, split between Higher and Standard Level, with the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS. A maximum of 45 points comes from papers in May or November and internal assessments. Tutors help the student understand and practise; every submitted line is the student's.

A Diploma student with a Rajakhera address is almost certainly enrolled at a school in Agra, Jaipur, Delhi NCR or abroad, so lessons follow that school's calendar.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

A smaller sibling of the Diploma, the CP blends two or more Diploma courses with a career-related study and a reflective project. Few schools in India run it, but it suits students aiming at vocational degrees.

Enquiries from east Rajasthan are rare and usually involve Business or Maths inside a CP plan.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

A parent in Rajakhera seldom asks for IB tuition in the abstract. What they need is Physics HL support before a mock, or Economics practice before an essay deadline. Tell us the subject, level and exam session and we begin from there.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Algebra, calculus and reasoning in the style JEE-minded students already enjoy, plus the unfamiliar open problems HL papers contain.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Data handling, probability and modelling with a graphing calculator, suited to commerce and social science plans.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, waves, circuits and fields, plus careful reading of graphs and uncertainty in practical questions.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Moles, bonding and organic pathways, where fluent use of the data booklet saves minutes in every paper.

IB Biology

HL / SL

From enzymes to ecosystems, with practice at compressing detailed content into answers that match the command word.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Demand, supply and policy, illustrated with mustard prices, quarry employment and border trade.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case-study reading and business tools, using stone-cutting and dairy enterprises as familiar models.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Taking unseen passages apart, building comparative essays and rehearsing the oral.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Writing, running and debugging code live, since logic that looks fine on paper often fails on screen.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Landmark studies, how to evaluate them and how to structure a long answer.

IB Geography

HL / SL

River systems, ravine erosion and rural livelihoods, with the Chambal as a living case.

IB Hindi A / B

HL / SL

Literary analysis for first-language readers or text types and register for those taking Hindi as a second language.

IB Sanskrit / Hindi language support

SL

Help with set language texts and oral confidence for students who bring a strong home language into the programme.

DP Core

Practice in questioning how we know what we claim to know; the written pieces are the student's own.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

Case studies, map skills and data-response questions.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Rajakhera school timetables

A Rajakhera student has one delivery format: live, one-to-one, online. Families differ in tempo. Some want a standing weekly class, some want a written trail after each lesson, others want an intense run before an exam. No one visits the house, since home visits exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

Standing weekly class

Your child meets the same tutor at the same hour each week, from a quiet corner at home. Over a term the tutor learns the student's habits and tailors the practice accordingly.

  • Fixed tutor and fixed hour
  • Covers PYP up to the Diploma and IGCSE
  • Past papers marked live in the call

Weekly class plus written trail

The same lesson, but every session ends with a few written lines and a longer review lands every few weeks. Useful when a parent works away or is on a posting and wants to follow along.

  • A written summary after each class
  • Periodic review of the plan
  • Extra slots are easy to add

Pre-exam run-up

Sessions bunch together before mocks and the May or November series. Timed papers return with comments inside days, and the schedule steers clear of loo afternoons, fog mornings and festival weeks.

  • Scripts marked against the official scheme
  • Quick turnaround on feedback
  • Best booked two to three weeks ahead

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Rajakhera

01

Who in Rajakhera asks about IB and IGCSE, and why?

Rajakhera is not an obvious market for international syllabuses, and we say so openly. The town's livelihoods are farming, quarrying, small trade and government jobs, and its schools prepare pupils for RBSE Class 10 and 12 papers, then for REET, NEET, JEE or police and army recruitment tests.

Yet a trickle of enquiries comes in. One kind arrives from a family with a member in the Gulf or Canada who has seen what an IB Diploma opens up. Another comes from a government or railway household that has just been posted to Agra or Delhi and wonders whether to continue a child on an international board. A third is a single, ambitious student who simply wants a harder, broader syllabus.

None of them can find a local specialist, because there is no Rajakhera classroom in which IB Chemistry HL or IGCSE Extended Maths has been taught this year. The search therefore widens to the whole country, and the lesson is delivered on video.

From the student's side the paper is the same everywhere. A Cambridge script from Rajakhera is marked to the same scheme as one from Mumbai, and IB moderation follows one standard. What matters is how well the student is prepared.

02

How does the Rajasthan Board compare with IB and IGCSE?

The Rajasthan Board's Class 10 and 12 examinations are built around the prescribed textbook and a predictable scheme of marking, and entrance routes such as REET, NEET and JEE follow from them. CBSE is close in spirit, with a little more application. IB and Cambridge IGCSE ask a student to read a new situation, pick the right idea and write a reasoned answer.

The hardest change for a Hindi-medium pupil is usually language rather than science. A Biology answer wants exact English terms in well-built sentences; an Economics essay wants a visible line of argument. The first weeks therefore mix new content with plenty of writing practice.

Coursework brings a second change. An IB Internal Assessment or an IGCSE practical component rewards independent planning, honest data and reflection, and few state board students have done anything like it. The tutor questions and guides; the student does the work.

Nothing here is a criticism of the Rajasthan Board, which builds speed and memory. The international route tests a second set of abilities.

03

What decides the fee for IB tuition from Rajakhera?

Prices are not listed on this site because the honest answer is that they vary with the course. Teachers who can handle Physics HL or Maths HL at current IB standard are fewer than those for IGCSE Core subjects, and rates follow that difference.

Experience with the specific syllabus is the second factor. A tutor who taught the course last year, or marked papers for the board, spots a student's weak points sooner, which usually trims total hours.

The weekly hour count also matters. One lesson a week is modest; three before a mock cost more that week, though a short, sharp block can finish sooner than a long, thin one.

A written figure arrives after your child has tried a free lesson. Nothing is charged until you agree, and a different tutor is offered if the fit is wrong, which is the simplest way to weigh price against quality.

04

Online home tuition, Agra coaching or self-study for Rajakhera students?

Dholpur and Agra both have busy tuition markets, but they serve board papers and entrance tests, not IB command terms or IGCSE practical papers. Going to Agra and back also costs hours, along with fog-bound road risks in winter.

A neighbourhood private tutor may know the subject beautifully, yet with so few IB or Cambridge schools in the region, almost none has taught the exact papers.

A live online lesson fills that gap. The tutor can be in Pune or Bengaluru while your child sits at home, and the pairing rests on subject expertise.

Past papers alone help only when someone marks them and explains each lost mark. Otherwise a student repeats the same mistake in three different papers.

05

How do loo winds, fog and festivals shape the exam year in Rajakhera?

Most Indian IB Diploma candidates sit their papers in May, though some schools use a November window. Cambridge IGCSE has a May-June series and an October-November series, with results in July and January respectively. Dates are always confirmed by the student's own centre.

East Rajasthan has an unforgiving summer. In May and June the loo, a hot dry wind, can push afternoons beyond 44 degrees and cut power. Early-morning or late-evening lessons are kinder, and a backup battery for the router is worth having.

Winter brings thick fog from December into January, slowing road travel and sometimes pushing schools to shorter hours. It is a good season for indoor study, as the days are cool and festivals are fewer.

Holi in March, Teej and Raksha Bandhan in the monsoon months, Dussehra and Diwali in autumn all claim days at home. We count back from the exam date and leave buffer days around them.

06

Which universities can a Rajakhera student reach after IB or IGCSE?

Within the country, the Association of Indian Universities grants equivalence to the Diploma and to Cambridge qualifications, and international-board students may sit CUET-UG. Universities in Delhi, Rajasthan and elsewhere look at IB scores on their own terms.

Two careers carry strings. JEE Main and NEET each name the subjects a candidate must have studied, so read the latest bulletins at the point of choosing Class 11 subjects, well before it is too late to change.

Overseas, IB totals are read directly by admissions offices in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe. Students with roots in the stone and dairy trades sometimes look at civil engineering, geology or food technology abroad.

We provide teaching and exam practice. Application forms, statements and portfolios remain the student's own work.

07

How does live teaching handle IB Maths and the sciences?

IB offers two separate Maths courses. One, Analysis and Approaches, leans on algebra, functions and calculus. The other, Applications and Interpretation, leans on statistics, modelling and calculator work. Each comes at two levels, and a student's planned degree normally decides which pair of choices makes sense.

A shared whiteboard lets tutor and student work a problem together. Photographs of handwritten solutions come back annotated line by line, which many students find clearer than comments in a margin.

Where do science marks usually vanish? In Physics, through slips with units and rearranging; in Chemistry, through hazy use of the data booklet; in Biology, through imprecise phrasing. We begin with the weakest of these for the student in front of us.

Internal assessments are discussed only at the level of planning and criteria. The investigation and the write-up are the student's.

08

Core or Extended IGCSE, and how many subjects?

Cambridge sets two doors for most science and Maths papers. Walk through Core and the ceiling is grade C; walk through Extended and A* becomes possible. For a Rajakhera student with eyes on IB Diploma Physics or A Level Maths, Extended is usually the sensible door.

Then comes the number of subjects. A load of nine can drown a child who also has Hindi coursework, while five may shut doors later. Many families settle on English, Maths, two sciences, a humanity and one language.

For pupils schooled in Hindi, English as a Second Language is often the comfortable language paper, and a few centres additionally let them offer Hindi.

Pearson Edexcel runs a similar tiered system with its own papers and mark schemes, which is why we ask in the first conversation which board your centre has chosen.

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Rajakhera

Rajakhera itself: local options are limited

Schools here follow the Rajasthan Board in Hindi and English medium, with some CBSE. No IB or IGCSE campus was confirmed, which is why online matching is the realistic route.

    Nearby: Dholpur and Bharatpur

The district headquarters and the neighbouring Bharatpur offer more private schooling. We do not name an international-curriculum school there without confirmation.

      Nearby: Agra and Gwalior

Agra, across the state line, and Gwalior to the south are the big regional cities with wider school choice, and where families most often look first.

        Nearby: Jaipur and Delhi NCR

Jaipur and the Delhi NCR belt hold the larger concentration of IB and Cambridge schools that relocating Rajasthan families consider.

Our search for an IB or Cambridge/Edexcel school in Rajakhera drew a blank, so the town entry stays empty. Bigger cities below are simply places a family could relocate to or board a child, with no commercial tie to us. IB Gram is independent of every school and of the IB, Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel.

          Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Rajakhera: your questions answered

Can I find IB and IGCSE tutors in Rajakhera?+

You can, as online tutors who teach live from elsewhere in India while your child studies at home in Rajakhera. We pick by subject, level and board, then book a free trial. Nobody visits homes in Dholpur district; in-person tuition is a Gurugram and Delhi NCR service only.

Do you offer home tuition in Rajakhera?+

Home tuition in the sense of private, individual teaching while your child stays in the house: yes, via video. Home tuition in the sense of a tutor on the doorstep: no, not in Rajakhera, Dholpur or Agra, since that format is confined to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

Is there an IB school in Rajakhera?+

None we could verify. Schools here teach the Rajasthan Board and CBSE. Agra, Jaipur and Delhi NCR have more international options, but you should ask any school directly which IB or Cambridge programmes it is authorised to run before planning around it.

How much will IB tuition cost?+

There is no price list on the site. What you pay depends on the subject and level, how closely the tutor knows the syllabus and how many hours a week you want. Advanced sciences and Maths tend to cost more than IGCSE Core subjects. A written quote follows the trial lesson.

How does the free trial work?+

A regular-length live lesson with a tutor picked for the subject, free of charge. Watch how the explanations go, how quickly the tutor moves and whether your child relaxes. Nothing is promised in return. If the chemistry is poor, another tutor is offered before you commit.

Can my child sit IGCSE privately from Rajakhera?+

In many cases, yes: private candidates are admitted through approved exam centres, though fees, available subjects and closing dates vary widely. Our part is preparing your child for the papers and practical work. Entering the exam is for the family to arrange, and the nearest centre is more likely in Jaipur or Delhi NCR.

Will a tutor write my child's IA or Extended Essay?+

Never, and any tutor offering to would be breaking IB rules. Ours explain criteria, discuss topic ideas and comment on structure. The student researches, writes and submits. The same holds for TOK essays and every other piece of graded coursework.

Which IB subjects do your tutors teach?+

Maths in either version, the three sciences, Economics, Business, English, Computer Science, Psychology, Geography, Hindi and TOK are all covered, at both levels. A subject outside that list is worth raising in your first message; we will tell you honestly whether a suitable tutor exists.

Is IGCSE easier than the Rajasthan Board?+

Neither easier nor harder, only different in design. The Rajasthan Board pays for accurate recall of the prescribed book, while IGCSE pays for explaining and applying ideas in unfamiliar settings. Pupils from Hindi-medium classes generally start by practising English phrasing and exam command words.

Can students from Dholpur, Bari or Saipau join?+

Of course. All that is needed is a dependable connection, because the teaching happens on video. Since we choose tutors for subject knowledge and not for postcode, children in Bari or Saipau are offered the same people as those in Rajakhera itself.

          What time are lessons held?+

Everything runs on Indian Standard Time, mostly early evenings and weekends. A regular slot is agreed first and can be shifted around exams, festival weeks, foggy mornings or a trip by messaging the tutor.

What if heat or fog causes power cuts?+

Early-morning or late-evening slots suit May and June, and a charged laptop plus a phone hotspot will bridge short outages. When a session is lost entirely, let the tutor know promptly; most can be rebooked inside the same week, within the terms you receive beforehand.

Is it too late for a Rajasthan Board student to switch to IB?+

A move is possible, and the smoothest entry points are Class 6, Class 9 and Class 11. Early lessons tend to concentrate on reasoning in English and the vocabulary of exam questions, and your tutor can advise whether Standard Level or the Core tier gives the steadier first year.

Do you teach MYP and PYP students too?+

We do. A younger MYP student works on assignments marked against published criteria and on planning the Personal Project; a PYP child works on reading, number sense and asking good questions. There are no high-pressure exams at either stage.

Will I get feedback after lessons?+

Yes, in writing. Once a lesson ends, a short note lists what was taught, where your child stumbled and what to do before next time. Every few weeks a wider review follows. Parents posted away from Rajakhera tell us the notes are what keep them in touch.

Is IB Gram connected to any school or exam board?+

No link exists. IB Gram is a small independent service, and neither the awarding bodies nor any school endorses or employs us. Places named on this page are geography, not partners. Tutors have taught or examined the courses, but that experience does not make us an official channel.

          How do we get started?+

Write to us on WhatsApp at +91 7439 368 115 or by email at support@ibgram.com and include your child's class, exam board, subject and most recent marks. You will hear back with a proposed tutor and a trial time, and the fee follows in writing.
