IB and IGCSE Tutors and Private Tuition at Home in Padra

Private tuition at home in Padra for the IB or Cambridge IGCSE is possible only online, because the town has no school that teaches either and our tutors live elsewhere in India. Padra sits about 6 km from the edge of Vadodara, but that does not change the method: your child studies live, one-to-one, with a specialist matched to the exact subject and level, on a schedule that copes with Navratri, the Diwali break and monsoon weeks.

  • Your child is paired with a tutor who knows the precise IB course and level, or the Cambridge or Edexcel code and tier
  • Padra falls outside the small area where tutors teach in homes (Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR), so every lesson is live over video
  • A no-charge trial lesson opens every match, before any rate is agreed
  • IB Gram works alone: no partnership with any school named here, the IB, Cambridge or Pearson, and no assessed work written for students

IB & IGCSE in Padra

Padra sits beside Vadodara, but IB and IGCSE schooling is still a detour

Padra is a municipality of 46,660 people (2011 census) and the headquarters of a taluka with about 84 villages, roughly 6 km from the western end of Vadodara city. Vadodara station is 15 km away and the airport about 20 km. Industry here runs to pharmaceuticals, chemicals, glass and electronics, with vegetables, toor dal, cotton and tobacco grown around it. We could not confirm an IB or Cambridge IGCSE school inside the town.

Vadodara itself has a thin international-school supply. The directory we checked lists one IB school in the city, Navrachana International School at Bhayli, with the IB Primary Years and Middle Years programmes alongside CBSE, and Ahmedabad, about 110 km away along the expressway, has several more. So a Padra family weighing the IB or IGCSE is usually weighing a move, a long commute or a boarding place, and often just wants subject help alongside a Gujarat board or CBSE school.

Private tuition at home in Padra therefore means online tuition. Nobody from IB Gram comes to the house, because home teaching exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. A specialist tutor, based anywhere in India and working on Indian Standard Time, joins your child on video, chosen for the syllabus. For IB and IGCSE tutors in Padra that is the whole model, and it works for a Class 4 learner as well as a Class 12 one.

Tutors teach and review; they do not author assessed work, so no Internal Assessment, Extended Essay or TOK essay is written for a student. IB Gram works alone, with no partnership with any school named on this page, the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge or Pearson.

At a glance

IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Padra school years

Padra parents tend to raise the IB in one of three situations: a child already at a Vadodara or Ahmedabad school, a move being considered, or a relative abroad recommending an international qualification. Each programme is explained below, with a note on how it looks from Padra.

PYPFrom age 3 to 12, pre-school to Class 5

IB Primary Years Programme

Young learners move through units of inquiry that blend subjects around a central idea, building to a collaborative Exhibition in the last year. There are no public exams, so the tutor's work is reading stamina, number confidence and the habit of explaining an answer aloud.

The one IB school we could confirm in Vadodara lists the PYP, so for Padra children the stage is either a daily Bhayli commute, a boarding place or preparation before joining.

MYPFrom age 11 to 16, Class 6 to 10

IB Middle Years Programme

Learning is organised into subject groups with criteria-based grading and a capstone personal project. Success depends on showing how an answer was reached and why, not only on the answer itself.

Navrachana International School at Bhayli lists the MYP, which makes Vadodara the natural reference point for Padra families; tutoring covers gaps between school timetables and exam weeks.

DPFrom age 16 to 19, Class 11 to 12

IB Diploma Programme

Six subjects across three Higher and three Standard Level courses, plus the Extended Essay, TOK and CAS. The diploma is scored out of 45, and external exams fall in May.

We could not confirm a Diploma school in Padra or Vadodara from the directory, so students here usually look to Ahmedabad or remain on CBSE or the Gujarat board with IB-style skills added through tutoring.

CPFrom age 16 to 19, Class 11 to 12

IB Career-related Programme

A route for career-minded students, combining two or more Diploma courses with a career-related study selected by the school and a core that includes a reflective project.

No CP school near Padra is known to us, so our role stays with the Diploma courses inside the programme.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

These are the subjects most often requested by Padra families. We look at the level, the exam session and the assessed components before naming a tutor, since teaching HL Chemistry is a different task from teaching SL.

IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches

HL / SL

Gujarat board and CBSE students often calculate well but write little. The course asks for reasoning on the page and an Exploration built around a question of the student's own.

IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation

HL / SL

Built around data, models and technology, it suits students heading for commerce, design or biology. Explaining what a statistic means is the skill that scores.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Familiar mechanics and electricity arrive with new demands: the data booklet, uncertainty, and a Scientific Investigation with a method that can be defended.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

With pharmaceutical and chemical plants nearby, reaction yields, equilibrium and organic synthesis have real-world hooks. Marks still depend on precise practical write-ups.

IB Biology

HL / SL

A natural route towards pharmacy and biotechnology. The marks lie in command terms, data handling and an investigation with a correctly chosen statistical test.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Gujarat's trading and manufacturing culture supplies cases for supply, costs and trade, and each diagram must be complete, labelled and applied.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Family enterprises and small manufacturers offer rich material. The research project works best when a real owner agrees to answer questions.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Theory, algorithms and data structures carry as much weight as programming, and the IA is a working program with its documentation, so regular coding practice pays off.

IB English A: Language and Literature

HL / SL

Commentary on an unseen text and a comparative essay both improve with timed practice; students who speak Gujarati at home often gain most from sustained writing in English.

IB Gujarati A / B

HL / SL

For students who read and write Gujarati at home. Availability depends on the school, so we look for a tutor who has taught that exact level.

IB Hindi B

SL / HL

A common second language for Gujarat students; lessons focus on written accuracy, text types and speaking for the oral.

IB Environmental Systems and Societies

SL / HL

River, industry and land-use debates are close to home; top marks go to evaluation backed by evidence, not description.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP core

A discussion course: the student states a claim, faces a counter-example and refines it. Real-life cases keep the exhibition and essay concrete.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

IGCSE support covers Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel. A Padra student meets it at a Vadodara or Ahmedabad school or while preparing to move, so each entry begins with the syllabus code.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Extended demands speed and neat working, and on the non-calculator paper clear method protects marks when arithmetic slips.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Calculus and further algebra ahead of schedule, a bridge to IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches.

Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A 4MA1

Foundation / Higher

Similar topics to Cambridge but different question wording, so Edexcel's own past papers are the right practice.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Most lost marks come from equation handling under time pressure and from the alternative-to-practical paper.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Moles and formulae come first, then organic chemistry, then the vocabulary needed to describe tests and apparatus accurately.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Questions on genetics, ecology and human biology pay off for long, well-ordered written answers.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Learn each diagram exactly right early; the higher marks sit in the evaluation that follows it.

IGCSE Business Studies 0450

Grade 9-10

Marks go to applying a concept to the firm in the question, which mark-scheme practice teaches quickly.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Python practice goes hand in hand with algorithm theory, since tracing logic sticks once code has run.

IGCSE English First Language 0500

Grade 9-10

Timed reading of unseen passages and practice in summary writing close more of the gap than a long vocabulary list.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Padra school timetables

Each class is a live video call, one student and one tutor, on IST, from your own home. The formats below differ only in when lessons fall, how long they run and how intense the period is.

Weeknight classes

One fixed slot after school and any tuition commitments, so a single tutor gets to know how one student thinks.

  • Fits around school transport and homework
  • Practice papers are marked between classes
  • The tutor stays the same through a term
  • Moves easily around a Navratri night or a wedding

Sunday study blocks

Long sessions for work that needs space: an Exploration outline, a lab write-up, an oral rehearsal or a full timed paper.

  • A complete paper and its review in one sitting
  • Helps with IA and Personal Project planning
  • Keeps weeknights free for school work
  • Mornings suit the hotter months

Diwali and summer catch-up

Concentrated lessons during the long breaks, to repair gaps from the term or start the next unit early.

  • Uses the Diwali vacation and the summer break
  • Builds ahead of the next school unit
  • Works for children returning from a boarding place
  • Dates fixed a few weeks in advance

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Padra

01

How close is Padra to IB and IGCSE schools?

  • No IB or IGCSE school could be confirmed inside Padra
  • Vadodara's directory shows one IB school, at Bhayli
  • Ahmedabad, roughly 110 km away, has the widest choice

Geographically close, practically limited. Padra is about 6 km from the western end of Vadodara, but the IB and IGCSE options in and around the city are few. The directory we checked lists a single IB school in Vadodara, Navrachana International School at Bhayli, offering the PYP and MYP with CBSE from nursery to Class 12 as a day and boarding school. We found no IB or IGCSE school in Padra itself.

An older list of Vadodara schools names VIBGYOR High School on Padra Road as an IGCSE option, but the school's own website lists only CBSE for that campus, so we do not name it. That is a good example of why directory entries deserve a phone call before any decision. Ask each school which boards, grades and exam sessions it currently runs.

Ahmedabad is the next option, roughly 110 km along the expressway. Directory listings show Ahmedabad International School at Bodakdev for IGCSE and the IB Diploma, J.G. International School at Thaltej for IGCSE, ICSE and IB, and Mahatma Gandhi International School at Navrangpura for IB and Cambridge. That distance means boarding or relocating, not a daily journey.

Do not let the thin supply worry you about standards. Cambridge papers are identical for every candidate who sits them, and the IB moderates scripts from Gujarat and Geneva alike against one scale. What a Padra student needs is a tutor with hands-on, current knowledge of the course; that knowledge travels over a video link without losing anything.

Gujarat board, CBSE, ICSE, IB or IGCSE: which suits a Padra student?

Choose by destination, not by reputation. The Gujarat board and CBSE suit a student heading for Indian entrance tests from a local school; ICSE suits one who enjoys English and long written answers; the IB or IGCSE suit a student planning to study abroad, or one who has secured a place at a school that teaches them. Underneath that sit three practical differences: how marks are earned, the language of the paper and the place of coursework.

Imagine a Padra student with strong Class 10 Science marks. On a board paper, a correct definition earns the mark. On an IGCSE or IB paper, the same definition may earn one mark of six, and the rest go to applying it to an unfamiliar situation and stating why. Fast numerical practice still helps, but unexplained answers are penalised far more than families expect.

English is the working language of every IB and Cambridge paper. Padra homes often mix Gujarati, Hindi and English, which is an asset for a language subject but can make written scientific explanation slow at first. A term of guided writing, with help on topic sentences and subject vocabulary, often repays more than extra content.

Coursework rounds it out. IB internal assessments and some IGCSE components are planned, drafted and marked to published criteria, a pattern that feels strange after years of one set of March papers. Starting preparation a few months before a move at Class 9 or Class 11 makes the first term much gentler.

03

What decides the price of IB or IGCSE tuition in Padra?

Not the address. A rate is set per student from the programme, the subject and level, the length of each lesson and how hard that tutor's exact experience is to find. IB Gram has no price list, and the figure is given in writing before you book. For IB and IGCSE tutors in Padra there is no travel component, because every lesson runs online.

Experience is the swing factor. Someone who taught IB Physics HL this year is harder to find than someone covering IGCSE Core Mathematics, and the first naturally costs more per hour. A ninety-minute session with a full past paper marked live is also a different product from a forty-five-minute concept lesson, so read what each quote includes.

Look at the fee beside the alternatives. A class in Vadodara means a trip each way on Padra Road, and a move to live beside an IB school reshapes the household budget. Online lessons keep the specialist and drop the commute, and they can be timed around exams, Diwali or a family wedding.

Set-up costs are small: a stable connection, a headset and a way to show handwritten working, for which a phone propped on books will do. Monsoon storms sometimes take out power or data for an evening, so a charged phone with a data plan is worth keeping to hand.

04

Should a Padra student choose an online IB tutor, a Vadodara class, a private tutor or self-study?

For IB and IGCSE content, the online specialist. Vadodara has plenty of tuition for the Gujarat board, CBSE, JEE and NEET, but it is organised around those exams; private tutors in the neighbourhood mostly teach the same boards; and studying alone helps with practice but not with feedback on coursework. The table sets out all four.

Coaching classes in the city, including those along Old Padra Road, serve competitive-exam batches well. They do not run a batch for IB Chemistry HL, and a big class cannot mark a Scientific Investigation line by line. Alongside an IB or IGCSE tutor, a batch can still strengthen the underlying science and Mathematics.

A neighbourhood tutor may be excellent at Class 10 Science yet new to IGCSE 0620, where the practical paper and the wording of command terms weigh as heavily as the chemistry. One question clears up most doubts about a tutor: has this person taught my child's exact course this year? Online, that can be asked of tutors across India.

Diligent students study from free past papers and mark schemes and often do well. What is missing is an experienced second reader who notices that an Exploration's argument sags or an essay wanders. A tutor supplies that reading without writing a line of the student's work.

05

How do Navratri, Uttarayan, the Diwali break and the monsoon affect the Padra study year?

They shape it more than a timetable shows. Navratri brings nine nights of garba in Vadodara, late-night events that leave the following mornings slow. Uttarayan on 14 January fills the sky with kites and the day with family. The Diwali vacation stretches for weeks, and the monsoon arrives in June. IB and Cambridge exam dates fall across these, so planning starts with the quiet weeks.

Vadodara district has a dry climate with three seasons, temperatures from about 12 to 43 degrees Celsius through the year, and roughly 1,000 mm of rain, mostly in the monsoon. Hot afternoons in April and May are poor for concentration, so early-morning blocks suit that season, and storms occasionally interrupt power or data.

Then there are the exams. IB Diploma candidates write in May and receive results in early July. Cambridge IGCSE has a main May and June session and a second in October and November, plus a limited February and March series for some syllabuses in India. Edexcel offers a January window for some subjects. Gujarat board and CBSE papers cluster in March, so siblings on different boards need different weeks.

Gujarat schools also take long vacations, in summer and around Diwali, which are useful for catch-up or starting the next unit early. They coincide with travel and family events, so dates are best fixed a few weeks ahead, and lessons can be moved if plans change.

Which universities and exams follow IB or IGCSE for students from Padra?

Indian routes begin with an Association of Indian Universities equivalence certificate covering the IB or IGCSE-based qualification. With it, CUET-UG opens central and many other universities, JEE leads to engineering and NEET to medicine. Gujarat's own professional-course admissions publish their rules for students from other boards, and those are worth reading early. Overseas applications rest on predicted grades.

Close to home, Vadodara has the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Baroda Medical College, Navrachana University and Parul University. Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar add IIT Gandhinagar, CEPT University, the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad University and Nirma University. Each sets its own admission route and entrance test, so read the current prospectus rather than trusting older advice.

Eligibility for JEE and NEET turns on the subjects studied and the marks earned, and the conditions are revised from year to year. Engineering generally asks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and medicine for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Because the subject choice at Class 11 settles which doors stay open, read the current information bulletin a year ahead.

Gujarat has a large diaspora in the UK, the US, Canada and East Africa, and many Padra families have relatives abroad who shape the conversation. British offers rest on predicted IB points in named Higher Level subjects, American colleges combine predicted grades with essays and sometimes SAT or ACT scores, and Canada and Australia convert IB points. Our tutors work on subject depth and exam technique; admissions counselling is outside what we do.

07

Subject choices: IB Maths, the sciences and IGCSE tiers for a Padra student

  • Approaches suits calculus and proof; Interpretation suits data and models
  • If medicine is on the cards, hold on to all three sciences
  • Extended tiers keep STEM routes open

Mathematics is the one subject every Diploma student takes, so it comes first. Analysis and Approaches is for students who like calculus and formal proof, perhaps with engineering or the physical sciences ahead. Applications and Interpretation is for those who prefer data, models and commerce or biology pathways. Gujarat board and CBSE students often gravitate to Approaches because it looks familiar, and a fortnight of past papers usually reveals which course the student truly enjoys.

With pharmaceutical and chemical plants in the taluka, Chemistry and Biology come with local context: yields and equilibrium, organic synthesis, enzymes and drug action. Marks, however, follow technique. Students need to be at ease with the data booklet, with uncertainty and with command terms, and their Scientific Investigation needs a method that a moderator would accept. Choose early, and pick a variable that home or school equipment can measure.

Anyone aiming at medicine or pharmacy should hold on to all three sciences when choosing subjects, since NEET eligibility names them, and then find out which level each target course expects. Anyone drawn to design or architecture should ask about entrance tests early, because some sit outside the IB timetable.

For IGCSE, the tier decision is the big one. Extended papers keep Class 11 options wide open, while Core tops out below the highest grades, so any student who might later want A Levels, the Diploma or a technical degree should aim for Extended in Mathematics and the sciences. Additional Mathematics (0606) is a stretch for strong algebra students. If the school follows Pearson, Mathematics A (4MA1) comes with Foundation and Higher tiers and its own question style; practise on that board's papers, and confirm tier entries with the school well before the deadline.

Where we tutor

Padra, its taluka and the road into Vadodara, all taught online

A lesson reaches your child wherever in the Padra area you live. The differences between places are about school context and how far it is to Vadodara, which matters when a family compares staying with moving.

Padra town and its municipality

The taluka headquarters, with 46,660 residents in 2011 and about 84 villages in the taluka; schools here follow Gujarat board and other Indian boards.

The Padra Road corridor into Vadodara

The road that ties the town to western Vadodara, about 6 km from the city's edge, where city schools and coaching classes begin.

Bhayli and the Vasna-Bhayli Road

The north-western fringe of Vadodara, where Navrachana International School lists the IB Primary Years and Middle Years programmes with CBSE.

The industrial estates

Padra's pharmaceutical, chemical, glass and electronics units employ households used to transfers and to schools on different boards.

The Karjan side

A neighbouring taluka reached by state highway, with its own farming economy and the same gap in IB and IGCSE schools.

Towards Jambusar and Bharuch

The state highway and the narrow-gauge line to Jambusar, which runs two train pairs a day, lead away from the city and its schools.

Vadodara Junction and the airport

The station is 15 km and the airport about 20 km away, the links families use for exams, campus visits and relatives coming home.

The Vadodara to Ahmedabad expressway

Ahmedabad, roughly 110 km away, is where the largest group of confirmed IB and IGCSE schools in Gujarat sits.

    Why families choose us

What Padra parents tell us matters most

    Syllabus before anything

Tutors are matched to the exact IB subject and level or the Cambridge or Edexcel code, not to a broad promise to cover international boards.

    Plain about Padra

We tell you that no IB or IGCSE school is confirmed in the town, that Vadodara's supply is thin, and that nobody teaches in homes here.

    Judge it yourself

A no-charge trial on real course material lets your child assess the tutor, and lets you assess the result.

    Guidance, never authorship

A tutor will comment on an IA, coursework or Extended Essay draft; producing the work for the student is something we do not do.

    Notes after every class

A brief written summary follows each session, so you can see what was covered and what comes next.

    A fresh start if needed

No ties to a school or board, and an easy change of tutor if the match is wrong.

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Padra: your questions answered

Is online IB or IGCSE home tuition really possible for a student in Padra?+

Yes: the lesson takes place at your child's own desk, through a live video link with a tutor elsewhere in India. IB Gram tutors teach in homes only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, so Padra is served online alone. For families here the useful question is whether the tutor knows the course well, which is what we check before introducing anyone.

What do you need to know before suggesting a tutor?+

Five details are enough: the programme or board, the subject, the level (HL or SL, Core or Extended), the current or predicted grade, and the hours your household can guard each week. With those we suggest one or two tutors and explain each choice. Mention the exam session your child is aiming for as well, since it shapes the plan.

Does IB Gram have a centre or school near Padra?+

No. There is no IB Gram classroom in or near Padra; the service is online and the tutors are based across India. A school on Padra Road or in Bhayli has no connection with us. Teaching in homes happens only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, so for Padra everything runs on screen.

Which IB or IGCSE schools can a Padra family realistically consider?+

From Padra the choices are a Bhayli commute, a boarding or relocation decision, or a move towards Ahmedabad. The directory we checked lists Navrachana International School at Bhayli for the IB PYP and MYP with CBSE, and Ahmedabad lists several, including Ahmedabad International School, J.G. International School and Mahatma Gandhi International School. Phone each school, since listings age.

How is the fee for IB or IGCSE lessons worked out?+

The rate reflects the programme, the subject and level, how long each session runs and how scarce the tutor's exact experience is; your address plays no part. You see the figure in writing before anything starts. There is no published price list, and the trial lesson costs nothing.

Can a tutor help with my child's Internal Assessment?+

Within limits, yes. A tutor can discuss topic ideas, explain the marking criteria, review a plan and comment on a draft that the student has written. Writing or rewriting any part of it is excluded, for every IB and Cambridge component alike. Both bodies treat work that is not the candidate's own as malpractice, so the boundary protects your child.

We live in Padra but the school is in Vadodara. When are lessons held?+

Usually in a fixed weeknight or Sunday slot, or in a burst during the Diwali and summer vacations. The tutor is matched to the course your child's school teaches, and the recap after each class keeps the school's pace in view. Share the term dates and exam weeks and we will lay out the year.

Our child follows the Gujarat board. How hard is a move to IGCSE?+

It is manageable when started early. The content overlaps with what your child already knows, but answers are expected in fuller English, with working shown and command words obeyed. A few months of past-paper practice before Class 9 makes the first term less jarring. The new school decides admission, so ask about its entry requirements.

Is Gujarati or Hindi available as a language subject?+

Yes, at IB level through Gujarati A or B and Hindi B, and at IGCSE level through Hindi as a second language. Availability depends on what your child's school supports, so we look for a tutor who has taught that specific language course at that level. Tell us which one applies.

What if an evening lesson clashes with Navratri or a family function?+

Tell the tutor a few days ahead and the class is moved, not lost. Navratri evenings in Vadodara run late and leave mornings slow, so many families skip a slot and add one afterwards. The written recap keeps the thread between sessions.

Can lessons run alongside JEE, NEET or board-exam tuition?+

Yes, if the week is planned with care. Plenty of Gujarat students handle school and tuition together, so we settle on a light, fixed load and keep lessons off the heaviest tuition days. Much of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics content overlaps with entrance syllabuses, yet the wording of questions and the mark schemes differ, which is something the tutor keeps separate.

What if the monsoon or a power cut interrupts a lesson?+

Let the tutor know as early as possible, and the class can normally be moved to another slot. Heavy rain sometimes cuts electricity or mobile data, so a charged phone that can act as a hotspot is a sensible backup. The notes from earlier classes keep your child busy until the lesson is rescheduled.

    Are grades or admissions promised?+

No. Marks depend on your child's work, the school's teaching, the paper and the marker, and nobody can promise them. A tutor can diagnose gaps, teach exam technique, mark practice papers against the published scheme and give candid feedback, which improves the odds. IB Gram makes no promise about grades or places.

When should we begin: now or after the school year ends?+

As early in the course as you can: Grade 9 for IGCSE, Class 11 for the Diploma, or two to three terms before a planned school change. Early weeks are the easiest to fix. If the year is half over, begin anyway; the plan then targets the topics that carry the most marks.

How does the trial lesson work?+

Your child takes a genuine lesson on a genuine topic from the course, live, with the tutor we propose, at no charge. Afterwards the tutor sends a short note on what was covered and what comes next, and you decide whether to continue, switch or stop. The rate has already been shared in writing.

What happens if my child and the tutor do not click?+

Say so and we will introduce a different tutor. Rapport between student and tutor matters as much as credentials, and a poor fit is best fixed after a lesson or two. The recap notes from the first tutor make the handover to the next one straightforward.

Is IB Gram linked to any school, exam board or the IB itself?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutoring service, unconnected with the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, Pearson or any school on this page. Schools are named only to show where these syllabuses are taught near Padra. The tutors teach and coach, nothing more; none of them speaks for a school or a board.
