IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Nohar

Looking for home tuition in Nohar for an international syllabus? Here it means private one-to-one lessons your child takes at home on a laptop, because no tutor visits Nohar and no IB or Cambridge school sits in the town. Hanumangarh district is canal-irrigated farming country where the nearest international classrooms are several hours away by road, so a tutor who has taught your child's exact course recently is usually the simplest way to keep an IB or IGCSE plan moving from the kitchen table.

  • Tutors are matched to the exact IB subject and level or the Cambridge and Edexcel code your child is entered for
  • Every lesson is live on video; nobody travels to Nohar and there are no home visits outside Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
  • A free trial lesson comes first, with the rate confirmed in writing before you book anything
  • IB Gram is independent and is not affiliated with the IB, Cambridge, Pearson or any school named on this page

IB & IGCSE in Nohar

Online home tuition for an international syllabus, from a town that has none

Nohar is a municipal town in Hanumangarh district with roughly fifty thousand people at the last census, set in a semi-arid belt where wheat, mustard and cotton decide the rhythm of the year. The schools families know here are state-board and CBSE schools. Nothing in the town teaches the IB or Cambridge IGCSE, and the honest position is that the closest classrooms that do are in Jaipur, in the Shekhawati belt near Sikar and in Delhi NCR.

That leaves three kinds of household writing to us. Some have a child already boarding in one of those cities who needs a tutor during term and again through the long summer break at home. Some are trying a Cambridge or IB plan from Nohar itself, sitting as a private candidate. Others have returned from a posting abroad or elsewhere in India and want the syllabus their child already knows kept going without a disruptive school change.

Each lesson is a live video call with a tutor based in India, scheduled on Indian Standard Time. A tutor marks a paper on a shared screen while your child watches, or reads a draft with them line by line. No tutor drives to Nohar, because in-person home visits run only in Gurugram and some parts of Delhi NCR. Being online is also what lets a Nohar student work with a Chemistry specialist who lives a thousand kilometres away.

Our tutors coach. They explain, question, set practice and mark against the published criteria, but they do not write or rewrite Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, Theory of Knowledge essays or any other assessed coursework for a student. We are independent of the IB, Cambridge, Pearson and every school named on this page.

At a glance

  • IB tutoring for PYP, MYP, DP and CP students wherever their school is
  • Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE matched to the specification code
  • Live one-to-one lessons on Indian Standard Time, at home on a laptop
  • A short written note after every session so parents can follow progress
  • No home visits in Nohar; in-person tuition exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Nohar school years

Whichever stage your child is at, the question to settle first is where the syllabus is actually being taught, because that decides whose calendar the tutoring follows. Here is how each IB stage looks from Nohar.

PYPClass 1-5, ages 6-11

IB Primary Years Programme

Learning is organised around units of inquiry instead of separate timetabled subjects, and it ends with a pupil-led Exhibition. There are no external exams, so tutoring means steady reading fluency, number confidence and the habit of asking a question before being handed the answer.

PYP is not taught anywhere near Nohar, so families asking about it are usually returning from a city posting and want reading and number work to stay consistent through the move.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Each subject is marked on four criteria instead of one score, and the Personal Project in the last year asks a student to manage a self-chosen task from proposal to reflection. The skill gap is usually in explaining reasoning, not in recalling facts.

With no MYP school in the district, the Nohar students we meet are mostly boarders in Jaipur or Delhi NCR, and the Personal Project journal is what needs steady attention during holidays at home.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

Six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard, sit alongside Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and a service component. Internal assessments carry real weight in most subjects, and final exams are held each May, with a November session in some schools.

Because the Diploma is not offered in Nohar, a DP tutor here typically works around a boarding school's term dates, which differ from the Rajasthan board calendar neighbours follow.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

CP pairs two or more Diploma courses with a career-related study, a reflective project and personal and professional skills. Few Indian schools run it, but the Diploma courses inside it are examined exactly like the full DP.

CP enquiries from Nohar are rare; when they arrive, the practical work is on the Diploma subjects inside the pathway, taught to the same standard as any DP course.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Give us the subject, the level and the exam session and the match follows from that. A Nohar student can be working with a Mathematics specialist and a separate Biology specialist, each chosen for that one course.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Students strong in the Rajasthan board or JEE-style drills still need training for Paper 3 problem solving, where the route is not given, and an Exploration topic chosen early enough to avoid a panicked final month.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Data handling, modelling and technology work suit students who prefer applied questions, though they need careful calculator habits and a topic for the Exploration with real data behind it.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Nohar students who know mechanics from class notes still have to learn the data booklet, uncertainty handling and the exact wording examiners reward in written answers.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Stoichiometry and equilibrium are rarely the problem; organic pathways, energetics and turning a practical into a write-up the marking criteria can credit take the tutoring time.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Content knowledge is the easier half; matching the command term in each question and building a data analysis with sensible statistics is where marks are won.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Diagrams must be drawn and labelled exactly, then applied to a real recent case; HL students also practise the extended policy evaluation in Paper 3.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Answers earn marks when they are pinned to the named case in the question, and the internal assessment needs a real organisation willing to share information.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Paper 1 commentary and Paper 2 comparison both improve with practised structure, and the Individual Oral usually needs several timed rehearsals with feedback.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Theory and pseudocode have to be backed by hours of actual programming, since the internal assessment is a working product with matching documentation.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Studies must be recalled accurately and applied, and the extended responses reward a clear argument more than a long list of research.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL / HL

High marks come from evaluating systems and arguing trade-offs with named examples, not from describing a textbook diagram.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Case studies need place names and figures, and fieldwork for the internal assessment needs a method a moderator could repeat.

IB History

HL / SL

Source analysis and sustained essay argument are drilled separately, since each one fails for a different reason.

IB Hindi A / B

HL / SL

Hindi is spoken at home across Nohar, so the work is formal register, text types for the written paper and unscripted speaking practice for the oral.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP Core

Sessions are a conversation about knowledge claims and real-life situations; the tutor pushes back on an exhibition plan, never drafts the essay.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

Both Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE run internationally, so we match by the exact specification code and tier. A Nohar student might sit Cambridge 0580 Mathematics, or Edexcel 4MA1, depending on the exam centre they use.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

The jump to Extended is largely about speed and method marks on the non-calculator paper, which a tutor can rehearse with timed sets.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Calculus, functions and vectors arrive early, which is useful groundwork for IB Maths AA at Higher Level later.

Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A 4MA1

Foundation / Higher

The mathematics overlaps with Cambridge, but question phrasing differs, so practice needs to use Edexcel papers specifically.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Rearranging equations and handling the alternative-to-practical paper properly are the two habits worth building early.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, the reactivity series and basic organic chemistry are taught in a sequence that builds toward the practical paper.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Genetics and ecology carry more weight than students expect, and extended-response questions need their own practice.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Clean diagrams come first, then the longer evaluative answers that separate grades at the top.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Python practice alongside pseudocode tracing, since logic only sticks once it has been run.

IGCSE English First Language 0500

Grade 9-10

Timed reading of unseen passages and focused summary writing close most of the gap.

IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language 0549

Grade 9-10

Suited to students who speak Hindi at home but need structured practice in writing formal letters, reports and essays to the marking scheme.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Nohar school timetables

Every mode below is online and every lesson is one-to-one. The difference is how the hours are spread, and families in a farming district usually choose by season more than by subject.

Steady weekly lessons through the school year

One fixed evening or weekend slot, repeated weekly with the same tutor, placed around school timetables and the household's work pattern.

  • Same tutor all year, so continuity builds
  • Works for DP, MYP and IGCSE subjects alike
  • Past papers are marked live during the session
  • Evening slots avoid the hottest part of the day

Term-break intensives for boarders at home

A boarder in Jaipur or Delhi NCR comes home for holidays; lessons are packed into those weeks to revisit weak topics or move an internal assessment forward.

  • Several lessons per week for two to four weeks
  • Plan agreed with the student's own school calendar
  • Written notes so the school tutor can follow on
  • Good for summer break when heat keeps everyone indoors

Exam-window sprints

A compressed block in the weeks before mocks, May papers or an October-November Cambridge series, with timed papers and quick turnaround on marking.

  • Timed papers marked to current grade boundaries
  • Corrections discussed in the next lesson
  • Booked two or three weeks ahead of the window
  • Scheduled clear of harvest peaks and the Goga fair

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Nohar

01

Which schools near Nohar teach IB or IGCSE, and who asks for it?

  • No IB or Cambridge school is confirmed inside Nohar
  • Most enquiries come from boarders' families or private candidates
  • Centrally set papers mean the standard is the same anywhere
  • An online specialist restores the access the map lacks

The direct answer is that none we can confirm are in Nohar. Schools in the town and across Hanumangarh district follow the Rajasthan board or CBSE, and a few private ones offer English-medium teaching, but none of them is on an IB or Cambridge list that we could verify. A family serious about an international syllabus has to look outside the district, and the closest confirmed names are in the Shekhawati belt near Sikar, in Jaipur and in the Delhi region.

That distance shapes the demand we see. A typical Nohar enquiry is not from a child attending an IB classroom down the road. It is from a parent whose daughter boards at a school in Jaipur, from a family planning a move to Gurugram or Noida next year, or from a household that has decided to prepare for Cambridge IGCSE as a private candidate and wants structured help from someone who has taught it.

Business and farming families, those connected with the grain market and the canal-fed agricultural economy, are a visible group among them. Government employees, teachers, bank and railway staff on postings, and families with relatives abroad make up another. They share one worry: they cannot judge how an IB or IGCSE course differs from the board syllabus their own schooling followed, and they want a tutor who can explain that honestly.

A thin local school map does not lower the standard a student meets. Cambridge and IB papers are set and moderated centrally, so an answer from a student in Nohar is judged on the same published criteria as one written in Geneva or Jaipur. What changes is access, and a well-matched tutor restores most of it.

Rajasthan board, CBSE or IB and IGCSE: what actually changes for a Nohar student?

  • Coursework planning is the hardest adjustment for board-school students
  • Questions reward explanation and evaluation, not only recall
  • Core tier suits many board-level students; Extended stretches further
  • Start preparing before Class 9 or Class 11 rather than after

A student from a Nohar school is used to a syllabus with a long fixed list of chapters and a single annual paper that rewards remembering, presenting and reproducing a method. That is a real skill, and the IB and IGCSE do not devalue it. They add to it a second skill: applying an idea to a situation the student has not seen, then explaining the reasoning in words a stranger can follow.

The biggest shift is coursework. Board exams give little weight to work done during the year, but an IB Internal Assessment is marked against published criteria and counts toward the final grade. Students arriving from a board school usually discover this late and find planning a long piece of independent work harder than the content itself. Learning to plan early, draft and revise is half the tutoring effort.

Depth differs too. IGCSE Core tier sits near the ceiling of many board courses, while Extended and IB Higher Level go well beyond, particularly in mathematics and the sciences. A student who studied strongly for state or CBSE exams will not struggle with effort, but may find that questions ask for explanation and evaluation, not recall, and that partial answers earn partial credit.

None of this makes the switch unwise. Plenty of families find that two years of spread-out assessment, clear criteria and recognised international certificates suit a child better than one high-pressure paper. It helps to know what is coming and to start preparing before Class 9 or Class 11.

What does IB or IGCSE tuition cost for a family in Nohar?

  • Rates depend on scarcity, level and exam-window intensity
  • Distance never changes the price; there is no travel charge
  • A written quote arrives before the first paid lesson
  • You can pause or change tutor without penalty

There is no published price list here, and that is deliberate. The rate depends on the programme, the subject, the level, how long each lesson runs and how recently the tutor has taught that exact syllabus. You are quoted a figure in writing before any booking, and the free trial lesson comes before that commitment.

Scarcity moves the number more than anything. A Higher Level Physics or Chemistry tutor who taught the current syllabus last year is harder to find than someone covering IGCSE Core Mathematics, and the rate reflects it. A family asking for several lessons a week in the exam window is quoted differently from one booking a single weekly slot.

Where you live does not enter the calculation. A household in Nohar town and one in a village dhani near Bhadra pay the same for the same tutor, and nobody adds a travel charge, because nobody travels. That also removes the hidden cost of sending a child to Sikar or Jaipur for weekly classes, which for many families is bigger than the tuition itself.

Ask what an hour buys before asking what it costs. A tutor who has marked many past papers for your child's exact paper will compress weeks of trial and error into a few lessons. You can pause bookings during harvest or a family event, and if the fit is wrong after the trial, we change the tutor.

Kota-style coaching, local private tutors, self-study or an online tutor: how do they compare?

  • Local coaching targets JEE, NEET and board exams, not IB or IGCSE
  • Recent, exact-syllabus teaching experience is what to look for
  • Self-study needs a second reader for assessed writing
  • Online tuition can sit alongside any of the other routes

Coaching in and around Nohar is overwhelmingly board-exam and entrance-test oriented. Rajasthan's coaching culture is centred on Kota and, to a lesser degree, Sikar and Jaipur, and many ambitious families in Hanumangarh district send a child there for JEE or NEET preparation. Those batches teach the Indian syllabus. They were never built around IB Chemistry HL or IGCSE 0606, and a student in an entrance batch cannot ask for one.

A private tutor in town can be a good teacher, but the question is recent, syllabus-specific knowledge. A tutor who has taught good Class 11 physics is not the same as one who has marked an IB Physics internal assessment this year. The difference shows in command-word technique, in how a student is told to structure a paper and in how assessed work is guided.

Self-study has real strengths. The past papers and mark schemes for IGCSE are public, and a determined student can learn a lot alone. What goes unchecked is the writing: a Chemistry practical report or Economics essay needs a second experienced reader, or it carries weaknesses into the exam.

An online tutor sits beside these options, not above them. The student can still attend a board-exam batch or do their own reading; the tutor adds syllabus depth and expert feedback that none of those supply, from any location.

Planning the year around Nohar's heat, harvests and the Goga fair

  • Semi-arid heat peaks in the afternoon; book cooler hours
  • Harvest weeks can take students out of the routine
  • Goga Navami fair week is best left free
  • Winter is usually the calmest stretch for coursework

Nohar is semi-arid, with very little rain and summer temperatures that reach the high forties, along with dust storms that can shut off power and mobile data for an hour or two. Winters fall to two or three degrees on cold nights. A study plan has to work with those extremes, so lessons are put in the cooler early morning and evening rather than through the afternoon.

The agricultural calendar is equally real. Wheat and mustard come in around March and April, and cotton picking follows in the autumn. In many households every adult is busy in those weeks, and a student may be asked to help. We agree a timetable before the season starts instead of discovering in the middle that lessons cannot be held.

The Goga Navami fair at Gogamedi, in Nohar tehsil, draws large crowds in the Hindu month of Bhadrapad, usually around August or September. Roads fill and families travel. It is a good week to skip or move a lesson, and a tutor who knows about it will not be surprised when you ask.

Diwali and the winter wedding season also matter. Set a slot that holds, and tell the tutor early when a week is going to break it. A short session on a festival week is better than a long one rushed, and the tutor sends a written note so the student is never left wondering what to do.

06

Where do IB and IGCSE students from Nohar go after school?

  • AIU equivalence and CUET-UG keep Indian university options open
  • JEE and NEET eligibility depends on subject choices made early
  • Jaipur and Delhi NCR are the usual higher-education hubs from Nohar
  • We coach the subject, not the application process

Most Nohar families think first of Indian universities, and an IB or IGCSE background does not close that door. The Association of Indian Universities issues equivalence for the IB Diploma and for IGCSE plus senior years, and CUET-UG accepts international candidates in most central universities. What matters is having the right subject combination in Class 11 and 12.

For engineering and medicine, eligibility for JEE Main or NEET-UG depends on physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology being studied at an acceptable level. Students who do IB and want to sit these entrance tests must plan subject choices and preparation from the start, since the syllabi do not match and entrance coaching often happens in Kota or Jaipur.

Closer to home, Rajasthan has a large state university system and respected professional colleges in Jaipur, and Delhi University and the private universities of the NCR are popular choices. Some students use the IB score for admission to good courses in Bengaluru or Pune and for liberal-arts programmes that value coursework.

Abroad, the path runs through predicted grades issued in Class 12, UCAS applications for Britain and the Common App for the United States. Our tutors do not do admission counselling; they sharpen the subject, lift the predicted grade and drill exam technique.

07

IB Maths AA and AI and the sciences: what Nohar students should know

  • AA suits algebra and calculus; AI suits data and modelling
  • Paper 3 rewards problem solving more than memorised routines
  • Internal assessment design is where sciences lose marks
  • Command terms decide the shape of a good Biology answer

Choosing between Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation depends on the student more than on the prestige of the route. AA is algebra-heavy, with calculus and proof, and suits engineering or pure science. AI leans on statistics, modelling and technology, and suits students aiming at economics, social science, business or medicine.

Students from a board background often have strong technique in calculation and weak habits in unfamiliar problems. Paper 3 at Higher Level gives a structured investigation with no set route. We spend time on reading the question, trying small cases and stating a result clearly, not only on topic coverage.

Physics, Chemistry and Biology share one weak point: internal assessment. The tasks need a well-designed method, sensible uncertainty handling and an honest evaluation. A tutor can ask a student to defend each choice and explain what they would change, without writing any part of the report.

For Biology, exam answers must match the command term in the question: describe, explain, evaluate or discuss do not earn marks the same way. A few rounds of timed practice with feedback are the quickest improvement.

08

Core or Extended: choosing an IGCSE tier from Nohar

  • Core caps at grade C; Extended reaches the top grades
  • Additional Mathematics supports a later IB Maths AA route
  • Private candidates can default to Extended with careful pacing
  • Edexcel needs its own past-paper practice

For Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics and the sciences, the choice between Core and Extended sets the maximum grade available, so it is worth making deliberately. Core tops out at grade C, while Extended can reach A-star. A student aiming for IB Higher Level or Class 11 science should take Extended wherever the school allows.

Additional Mathematics, alongside Extended Mathematics, is the smoothest path into IB Maths AA. It brings calculus and vectors forward and makes the first year of the Diploma less abrupt.

A private candidate, without a school timetable, has more freedom. Sitting Extended by default and building towards it gradually is usually sensible, unless there is a clear reason to choose Core and gain confidence first.

If your child follows Pearson Edexcel, the mathematics is similar, but the style of the Foundation and Higher papers differs, and the tutor should work from Edexcel past papers. Our matching covers both boards.

09

How matching works when the tutor is not in Nohar

  • One message covers programme, subject, level and the worry behind it
  • We search by recent syllabus experience, not by distance
  • The trial lesson, not a profile, is how you judge
  • A poor match is replaced without argument

It starts with a short message from you: the programme or board, the subject and level, where your child stands now and what is worrying you. That could be one topic, an internal assessment, upcoming mocks or a larger question about whether the family should switch syllabus.

Because nobody suitable is likely to live in Hanumangarh district, we never start by asking who is nearby. We ask who has taught this exact course recently. We look at qualifications, recent classroom experience and whether the tutor's teaching style matches what you have told us about your child.

The free trial lesson does the convincing. You see how the tutor explains, what questions they ask and whether your child relaxes enough to say what they do not understand. After that you receive a short written plan and the rate, so you can decide calmly.

If the fit is wrong, tell us. We will introduce someone else without making you justify it. No contract locks you in and no school is involved.

Where we tutor

Nohar and Hanumangarh district, all taught online

Your lesson is a video call wherever you live in the district, so these notes are about context: which schools are near, what the calendar does to your week and how far the nearest IB or Cambridge classroom really is.

Nohar town centre

The bazaar and municipal area where most families live; internet is best here, and school hours follow the Rajasthan board pattern of early starts in summer.

Gogamedi

The Goga Ji shrine area in Nohar tehsil, which hosts a large fair around Goga Navami in the monsoon month of Bhadrapad and is worth avoiding when booking.

Bhadra

A neighbouring town in the same district, with its own grain market and a similar board landscape of state and CBSE schools.

Rawatsar

Another district town to the south, reached by road from Nohar, where families travel for shopping and colleges more than for international schooling.

Sangaria

A town on the Hanumangarh side of the district with a farming economy; students here also look to Hisar, Sirsa and Sri Ganganagar for schooling.

Hanumangarh Town and Junction

The district headquarters, where government offices, colleges and the railway junction concentrate; many Nohar families visit for paperwork.

Pilibanga

A smaller district town with mostly state-board and CBSE schools, reached via the Hanumangarh road.

Tibbi

A farming town in the district, relevant because harvest weeks there mirror Nohar's and change which evenings a household can commit.

Outlying dhanis and villages around Nohar

Farm hamlets where broadband or mobile data can be patchy; a wired connection or a stable hotspot matters more than screen size.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Nohar

Nohar and Hanumangarh district

We cannot confirm any IB or Cambridge IGCSE school inside Nohar or its neighbouring towns; local schools run the Rajasthan board or CBSE, so local options for an international syllabus are limited.

    Nearby: Laxmangarh, Sikar district

Reached by road through the Shekhawati belt, this boarding option is the closest confirmed international-curriculum campus for many families in this part of Rajasthan.

    • Mody School, Laxmangarh

    Nearby: Jaipur

Rajasthan's capital has the widest range of international-curriculum schools, at a long journey from Nohar, so families there usually consider boarding.

    • Sanskar School, Sirsi Road
    • Mayoor School Jaipur

    Nearby: Delhi NCR

Families with relatives or a planned move to the capital region look at these campuses, which are a long rail or road trip away.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Nohar: your questions answered

How do I get an IB tutor in Nohar?+

Send us the programme, subject, level and exam session, and we match a tutor who has taught that exact course recently. Your child then takes a free trial lesson online. Nohar does not limit the match, because lessons are live video calls with tutors based elsewhere in India, all working on Indian Standard Time, so the choice covers the whole country instead of one district.

Does a tutor come to our home in Nohar?+

No, nobody from IB Gram visits homes in Nohar. In-person home tuition runs only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. In Nohar it is online home tuition: a private one-to-one lesson your child takes at home on a laptop or tablet, with the tutor on video, sharing a screen to mark papers or work through problems together.

Is there an IB or IGCSE school in Nohar?+

We cannot confirm one. Schools in Nohar and Hanumangarh district follow the Rajasthan board or CBSE. The nearest confirmed international-curriculum options are farther away, for example in Laxmangarh, Jaipur and Delhi NCR. Many Nohar families therefore support a boarder, prepare a private candidate or keep a previous syllabus going with online help.

What does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Nohar?+

We do not publish a price list, because the rate depends on programme, subject, level, lesson length and how recently the tutor taught that syllabus. You receive the figure in writing before you book. Location does not change it, so a Nohar household pays the same as any other for the same tutor, and the first trial lesson is free.

Can my child take IGCSE as a private candidate from Nohar?+

Often yes, but it depends on finding an exam centre that accepts private entries for the subject and session. That is for the family to arrange with the centre and the board. What we offer is teaching: a tutor who knows the Cambridge or Edexcel specification, sets timed papers and marks them, including the practical-skills components.

Will online lessons work with power cuts and patchy data?+

Usually, with a little preparation. Heat, dust storms and farm-area mobile coverage can interrupt a session. A wired broadband line or a second SIM as backup helps, and tutors can move a lesson or send recorded explanations and written notes if a connection fails. Tell us before the season starts and we will plan around it.

Can a tutor write my child's Internal Assessment?+

No. Tutors coach, and they do not write or rewrite Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, Theory of Knowledge essays or coursework. They can help a student choose a workable question, explain what a criterion asks for, challenge the method and give feedback on a draft the student wrote. The work, and the integrity of it, stay the student's.

Which IB Diploma subjects can you cover for Nohar students?+

Nearly every major subject: Mathematics AA and AI at HL and SL, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Management, English A, Computer Science, Psychology, ESS, Geography, History, Hindi and Theory of Knowledge. Tell us the subject and level, and we only propose a tutor who has taught that exact course in the current or previous syllabus.

Do you teach MYP and PYP students too?+

Yes, across the whole continuum. For PYP the focus is reading, number work and confidence with inquiry; for MYP it is criteria-based writing, the sciences, mathematics and support for the Personal Project. Younger students have shorter lessons, more frequent notes to parents and a tutor chosen for patience as much as subject knowledge.

Which IGCSE boards do you cover?+

Both Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel. The content overlaps, but the exam style does not, so we match by specification code, such as Cambridge 0580 or Edexcel 4MA1. If your child is changing from one board to the other, tell us, because the tutor will need to work from the new board's past papers.

When should my child start tutoring?+

Ideally at the start of the course, Class 9 for IGCSE or Class 11 for the Diploma, so weak foundations are fixed before internal deadlines. Starting later still helps, and an exam-window sprint can be useful. The first step is the same in every case: a free trial lesson where the tutor finds out where your child actually is.

    How are tutors selected?+

We check qualifications, how recently the tutor has taught the specific subject and level, and how they approach guiding assessed work without writing it. The trial lesson is the final test: you see the tutor teach real content, and if the style does not suit your child, we introduce someone else at once without asking you to justify the change.

How do you plan around harvest weeks and the Goga fair?+

We ask at the start and build it into the timetable. Most families pick weekday evenings or weekend mornings, avoid the afternoon heat and mark a few weeks as light or off: the wheat and mustard harvest, cotton picking and the Goga Navami fair at Gogamedi. A written plan shows which lessons move and when they resume.

Is it sensible to move from the Rajasthan board to IGCSE?+

It can be, particularly before Class 9 and with a clear plan for where the child will sit exams and later study. The adjustment is mostly about coursework and open-ended questions, not content. A tutor can run a diagnostic on your child's current level and tell you honestly how much bridging is needed before you commit.

What if my child and the tutor do not suit each other?+

Tell us and we will introduce another tutor straight away. We do not wait for a formal review, and we do not ask you to persevere. A good match matters more in an online setting, because the screen makes a rapport harder to build, so a quick change is part of how the service is meant to work.

Are you connected to any school or to the IB?+

No. IB Gram is independent and has no affiliation, partnership or endorsement arrangement with the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International, Pearson, or any school named on this page. Schools are mentioned only to show where an international syllabus is taught near Nohar. Our tutors are independent teachers in India who work on Indian Standard Time.

How do I contact IB Gram?+
