IB and IGCSE Tutors and Online Home Tuition in Natham

Looking for home tuition in Natham for a child on an international course? Nobody in the town teaches the IB Diploma or Cambridge IGCSE, and the schools that do sit in Madurai, Tiruchirappalli or Coimbatore. IB and IGCSE tutors in Natham work through a laptop at your own table instead: a specialist who has taught the exact paper, one student at a time.

  • Lessons run live over video with one tutor and one student, matched on the exact IB subject or IGCSE paper code
  • No tutor will come to a house in Natham: home visits exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR, so lessons are online
  • A free trial lesson comes before any commitment, and rates are given in writing beforehand
  • IB Gram is an independent tutoring service, unconnected to the IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel or any school named on this page

IB & IGCSE in Natham

A Pandya-plains town, a Tamil Nadu syllabus and a question about something wider

Natham is a town panchayat in Dindigul district, in the dry Pandya country between Madurai and the Dindigul hills. The 2001 census counted about twenty-two thousand people, and the town has grown since. Life here runs on trade, mango and tamarind orchards, small workshops, government jobs and the movement of families towards Madurai, Tiruchirappalli and Chennai. The schools are overwhelmingly Tamil Nadu State Board, with a handful of CBSE and Matriculation options in and around the town.

So why would a Natham family ask about the IB or Cambridge IGCSE? Usually because someone in the household has lived abroad, because a relative in Singapore, Dubai or Canada has suggested it, or because a parent wants the option of a foreign degree for a child without stopping at the Tamil Nadu Plus Two result. Sometimes a child has been enrolled at an international school in Madurai or Coimbatore and boards, or travels daily by bus and train and needs help at home with the subjects that move quickly.

That is why IB and IGCSE tutors in Natham are online by necessity. A teacher who has recently handled Higher Level Chemistry or Extended Mathematics will not live within an auto ride, but can teach a Natham student for an hour after school. The lesson is private, it uses a shared screen for working, and it happens at the family's own table. It is not a coaching batch.

A word on how we describe it. This is private tuition from home, delivered over video. Tutors do not visit homes in Natham; home visits are run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. Tutors also never write an Internal Assessment, Extended Essay or TOK essay. They explain, correct and coach.

At a glance

  • Private home tuition delivered live, with the tutor matched to the syllabus rather than the postcode
  • Support for children enrolled in Madurai, Tiruchirappalli or Coimbatore schools while living in Natham
  • Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE by exact paper code
  • Short written note after every lesson
  • Online only in Natham; no tutor visits
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Natham school years

Natham itself has no school we could confirm for any IB programme, so the stages below are reached through a school elsewhere, a family move, or a decision to add an international layer to a Tamil Nadu education. What follows explains each stage and what a tutor can reasonably do for it.

PYPNursery-Class 5, ages 3-12

IB Primary Years Programme

Teaching is organised around transdisciplinary themes, and the final year brings the PYP Exhibition, a group inquiry presented to the school. Nothing is externally graded, so tuition aims at secure reading, number sense and confident spoken English rather than test drills.

A Natham PYP student is typically a child whose parent has moved back from abroad, or who attends a Madurai campus and needs reading and Maths support at home on weekday evenings.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Students meet eight subject groups, are assessed against criteria with levels from 1 to 8, and complete a Personal Project at the end. Many tasks are open-ended, so the main learning is how to plan, justify a method and reflect in writing.

In Natham the MYP request is usually for Sciences, Individuals and Societies or Language and Literature, where a child used to Tamil-medium notes finds extended English writing the hardest part.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

Six subjects across three Higher Level and three Standard Level courses, plus Theory of Knowledge, a 4,000-word Extended Essay and CAS. Final papers come in the May and November sessions and Internal Assessments are marked by the teacher and moderated by the IB.

A Diploma student from Natham is nearly always enrolled in Madurai, Coimbatore or further, and uses a home tutor for the weeks when hostel or travel schedules leave little time for school-side help.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

The Career-related Programme pairs two or more Diploma courses with a career-related study, a reflective project and a language element. Few Indian schools run it, and most requests concern the Diploma courses that sit inside it.

We receive almost no CP enquiries from the Natham area; when one arrives, tutoring is limited to the Diploma courses and the school keeps the career-related element.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

A Class 11 student reading Physics HL for the Diploma and a Class 8 child adding Cambridge Maths to a Tamil Nadu timetable have little in common except the word international, so every enquiry starts with subject, level and the next exam date.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Calculus, functions, proof and vectors. Natham students arrive strong on routine algebra and benefit from practising the unfamiliar, multi-step questions that Paper 3 and the HL extension reward.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Modelling, statistics and calculator technology, a sensible route for a child leaning towards commerce, economics or a family trading business.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, fields, waves and quantum ideas, taught through data-booklet fluency and written explanation rather than formula recall alone.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Stoichiometry will feel familiar from Tamil Nadu Plus One; energetics, equilibrium and organic mechanisms need slower, repeated worked examples.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Cell biology, genetics, ecology and physiology, with Western Ghats and dry-zone examples that make the ecology questions concrete.

IB Environmental Systems and Societies

SL

Drought, groundwater and tank irrigation near Natham supply real case studies for the sustainability and resource units.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Microeconomic diagrams and macro policy, with local examples such as fruit markets and cottage industry used to anchor the theory.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

A natural fit for trading families; the course trains students to analyse a case, weigh options and conclude.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Algorithms, programming and databases, built up through regular coding practice rather than last-minute reading.

IB English A: Language and Literature

HL / SL

Textual analysis, comparative essays and the individual oral, taught with close feedback on the student's own paragraphs.

IB Tamil B

SL

For students who wish to be assessed in Tamil as a second language, with reading, writing and oral practice.

IB Hindi B

HL / SL

Comprehension, formal writing and speaking, scheduled as a steady weekly routine.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Fieldwork-based internal assessment and case studies on rainfall variability, urban growth and food security.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Studies, evaluation and the experimental internal assessment, with a strong focus on structuring essay answers.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

No school in Natham is confirmed for Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE, so students are usually enrolled in a Madurai or Coimbatore campus, sitting papers privately, or adding IGCSE-level Maths and Science to Tamil Nadu coursework. The first step is always the exact syllabus code and tier.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Extended preparation builds algebra, trigonometry and graph skills, with attention to showing method on every line.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Calculus, functions and vectors, a stepping stone for students aiming at Maths AA or A Level.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Forces, circuits and waves with regular practice on the Alternative to Practical paper.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, bonding and organic chemistry, plus a drilled list of test-for-ions answers.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Cells, transport, genetics and ecosystems, with data-handling questions practised from past papers.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Supply and demand, markets and government policy, taught with diagrams and short written evaluations.

IGCSE Business Studies 0450

Grade 9-10

Business structures, marketing, operations and finance, with case-study answers drilled for timing.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Python and pseudocode, with trace tables and logic gates practised on paper.

IGCSE English First Language 0500

Grade 9-10

Directed writing, narrative, summary and unseen passage questions under timed conditions.

IGCSE Tamil as a Second Language

Grade 9-10

Offered for the Cambridge syllabus where the family's school enters the paper; we confirm the code first.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Natham school timetables

The format in Natham never changes: live video, one tutor, one student. What changes is how the lessons are timed around a day that may begin on a bus.

Weekly evening lesson

One fixed slot a week after school, sometimes two, held at the child's own desk with the tutor on screen.

  • A tutor picked for the exact syllabus
  • Works for PYP, MYP, DP and IGCSE
  • Papers are marked together as the lesson runs
  • The same tutor for the term

Lessons with a progress trail

The same weekly lessons, but with a short written note after each and a review call every few weeks for parents.

  • Notes cover topics, homework and next steps
  • Parents can follow even if they are busy in the shop or on the farm
  • A second slot can be added before mocks
  • Works well alongside a school that has no time to explain

Break-time intensives

Concentrated blocks in the Pongal, summer and Deepavali breaks for boarders and day students home from Madurai or Coimbatore.

  • Timed papers with quick feedback
  • Useful for hostel students who are home only for short stretches
  • Book a few weeks before the break
  • Rescheduled if power or the network fails

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Natham

01

Who looks for IB and IGCSE tutors in Natham, and why?

Demand from this part of Dindigul district is small but distinctive. Four kinds of family keep appearing: those with a member working overseas, those with a child who has already moved to a Madurai or Coimbatore international school, returnees who left a Gulf or Singapore school midway, and ambitious families who simply want their child to study with an English-language, skills-based syllabus before university.

Natham sits roughly between Madurai and Dindigul, and daily commuting to a city campus is possible for some students but heavy for most. A child who leaves by an early bus and returns after dark is not an ideal candidate for an extra tuition centre visit; a one-hour lesson on a laptop at home is far easier to keep up.

A second reason is the thin supply of teachers. A person who has taught IB Physics HL or Cambridge Extended Mathematics for several years is rarely found in a town of this size, and when one is found, they are normally already teaching at a city school. Online matching removes the geography problem and keeps the only filter that matters, which is syllabus knowledge.

Finally, there are state-board students who want a stretch. A Tamil Nadu Plus One child aiming for engineering or medicine may be curious about Cambridge-style problem-solving in Maths and Physics. That is a legitimate use of IGCSE or IB tutoring, though NEET and JEE preparation still needs its own Indian-syllabus work.

Why Natham families ask about IB and IGCSE

02

How do Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE, IGCSE and the IB differ for a Natham student?

The Tamil Nadu State Board reaches students through the Samacheer Kalvi textbooks and public examinations at Class 10 and the Plus Two stage. It is thorough and content-heavy, and the marks feed directly into Tamil Nadu engineering counselling and many degree admissions. CBSE follows NCERT books with a national exam pattern. IGCSE and the IB are different in kind: they reward explanation, method and application, not just the right final answer.

A Natham student moving from the state system to Cambridge IGCSE meets two surprises. The first is language: scientific English must be written in full sentences with correct command words such as describe, explain and evaluate. The second is that marks are awarded for method, so a final answer with no working loses points.

The IB adds another layer. Internal assessments, an Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS all ask for reflection, which is unfamiliar to students trained on recall. This is not a flaw in the state system. It is simply a different set of habits, and a tutor's job is to show which old habits carry over and which new ones need building.

Eligibility matters at the university stage. IB and IGCSE graduates must check Association of Indian Universities equivalence for Indian degrees, and for Tamil Nadu engineering counselling and NEET the rules for non-state-board candidates should be confirmed with the official notices every year.

03

What decides the cost of IB or IGCSE tutoring for a family in Natham?

There is no price list on this page, on purpose. The rate for your child depends on the subject, the level, the length of each lesson, how many lessons a week you book and the experience of the tutor matched to the syllabus. We give the figure in writing before the free trial, and the trial itself costs nothing.

Higher Level courses and Extended-tier IGCSE sciences usually cost more than a Class 7 or MYP Year 2 session, because fewer tutors have taught them recently and each lesson demands more preparation. A tutor who has marked papers or run exam-year classes at a specialist school may also charge more than a recent graduate, and the family can choose which fits.

For a household in Natham, the more useful comparison is with what the alternative costs. Taking a child to Madurai for a coaching centre every week means bus or fuel costs, a lost evening and a long return in the dark. An online lesson removes that travel entirely, and the saved time can go into the child's own practice.

To get a quote, send the programme or board, the subject, the level and how many lessons a week you have in mind to the WhatsApp number on this page. A tutor and a rate come back in writing, and you decide with the numbers in front of you.

04

Is an online tutor better than a Madurai coaching centre, a local teacher or self-study?

Dindigul district has plenty of tuition for the Tamil Nadu State Board, NEET and JEE, and Madurai has an even wider coaching market. For IB and Cambridge material, though, the supply is thin. A coaching centre that excels at Samacheer Kalvi Chemistry may not know the IB Chemistry data booklet or the Cambridge mark scheme conventions.

A private teacher in Natham can be a good option for foundation Maths and English. The limit is syllabus knowledge: if the teacher has never prepared a student for IB Mathematics AA HL Paper 3 or IGCSE 0580 Paper 4, the lessons can drift into general revision instead of exam technique.

An online one-to-one tutor removes that limit. The trade-off is that the family needs a steady connection and a quiet corner, and the student must be willing to speak up in a video lesson. Most children settle within two or three sessions.

Self-study with past papers is valuable and free, but written answers go unmarked, which is where marks are usually lost. The table below sets the four options side by side.

Ways to prepare for an international syllabus from Natham
OptionKnows IB / IGCSE papersScheduleMain drawback
Online one-to-one tutorYes, matched on subject and levelAgreed with the familyNeeds a steady connection
Madurai coaching centreRarely, mostly state board and entrance testsFixed batchesTravel and a long return journey

05

How do Pongal, the heat and the monsoon shape a Natham study calendar?

IB Diploma exams run in May and November, Cambridge IGCSE in February-March, May-June and October-November, and Pearson Edexcel in January, May-June and October-November. A private candidate must register through an authorised centre months ahead, so the first question for any Natham student is where the exam will be sat.

The Tamil Nadu school year starts in June and breaks for Deepavali, the quarterly and half-yearly exams, and the Pongal holidays in January. Pongal week is a family time and lessons usually pause. The April to June stretch on the Pandya plains is hot, and many families study in early morning or late evening.

The northeast monsoon between October and December brings the main rain, and power or network interruptions are more common then. We suggest a spare slot in each week of that season so a missed lesson can be moved by a day rather than lost.

Mango season, usually from April, matters in a town with orchards. Families with harvest duties sometimes prefer later evening lessons, and tutors can accommodate that. The table gives the shape of the year.

A study year for a Natham student
MonthsWhat is happeningHow to plan lessons
January to FebruaryPongal holidays; Edexcel January series; Cambridge February-March series beginsPause for Pongal week, then focused mock practice
March to JuneIB May exams, Cambridge May-June series, heat and mango seasonEarly or late slots; intensive revision before papers
July to SeptemberNew school year, first assessmentsA calm period to build habits and fix gaps
October to DecemberNortheast monsoon, Deepavali, Cambridge and Edexcel autumn series, IB November examsKeep a spare slot each week; use Deepavali break for sprints
06

Where do Natham students go after IB or IGCSE?

  • Request AIU equivalence early for any Indian degree
  • NEET and JEE need separate preparation on the Indian syllabus
  • CUET-UG gives access to central universities
  • Overseas applications use predicted IB grades or IGCSE results

Most Dindigul district graduates head to Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore or Chennai for college, and a minority go abroad. With IB Diploma results or Cambridge grades, the field opens up: universities in the UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and the United States consider these qualifications directly, and many Indian private universities do too.

For admission to Indian public universities the Association of Indian Universities issues equivalence, and families should request it early. Central universities generally use CUET-UG, which IB and IGCSE graduates can sit like any other candidate. Engineering and medicine entrance routes such as JEE and NEET have their own eligibility conditions for non-state-board students, so reading the current brochure matters more than rumour.

Tamil Nadu has a particular strength in agriculture, textiles and engineering, and students from the region often combine an international school record with local colleges such as those in Madurai and Coimbatore. Gandhigram Rural Institute near Dindigul, for example, is a long-established rural-development university and a relevant option for students interested in that field.

A sensible plan keeps both doors open: build strong Maths and Science, take the IB or IGCSE seriously and check Indian eligibility rules before dropping any subject.

07

IB Maths and the sciences: which combination suits a Natham student?

IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches suits students who like algebra, calculus and proof, and it is the usual choice for engineering and pure science. Applications and Interpretation uses data, modelling and technology, and fits business, economics, psychology or design pathways. Higher Level in either is demanding, so a tutor will often start by looking at the student's present algebra and trigonometry.

Physics and Chemistry underpin engineering, medicine and materials science, and both carry a heavy Paper 2 and Paper 3 load. Biology pairs well with Chemistry for a medical or life-science future. A student wanting flexibility might choose Chemistry HL, Biology HL, Maths AI SL and Economics SL, or Physics HL, Maths AA HL, Computer Science SL and Chemistry SL.

The choice should be made with the target course in mind. A student eyeing a UK engineering offer will need Maths AA HL and Physics; a student hoping for a medical route needs Chemistry and usually Biology, with attention to Indian NEET rules if returning to India.

Every Maths and science lesson ends the same way: the student attempts a short timed question alone while the tutor watches the working. That habit does more than any amount of passive explanation.

08

IGCSE Core or Extended: how should a Natham student choose?

Core papers in Mathematics and the sciences cap the grade at C, while Extended papers reach A*. A student who may move to A Level or the IB Diploma should sit Extended, because the step to the next course assumes that content. Core is a sound choice for a child who wants a secure pass without the pressure of the harder topics.

A typical IGCSE programme has six or seven subjects: English, Mathematics, two sciences or Combined Science, a language such as Hindi or Tamil, and one or two electives such as Economics, Business Studies or Computer Science. Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel differ in paper structure and coursework rules, so each subject is tutored for the board the school enters.

For a Natham family the question often arises mid-year, when a child is moved from a state school into an international one. In that case a diagnostic lesson is more useful than guessing: the tutor sets a short paper and the result usually shows which tier fits.

If the school offers both boards, we recommend picking whichever the school teaches strongest and sticking with it. Switching mid-course costs more time than it saves.

Where we tutor

Natham and nearby places we teach online

Every lesson is on video, so the places below matter for context: which school catchment a family belongs to, when the evening buses and trains leave and how a child's day is shaped by the road to Madurai or Dindigul.

Natham town centre

The market and bus-stand core, where trading families live close to their shops and children go to nearby government and aided schools.

Natham bus stand area

The transport hub from which students leave for Madurai, Dindigul and Tiruchirappalli campuses; early starts shape the evening lesson slot.

Natham-Madurai road

Newer houses stretch along the road towards Madurai, which suits families who may relocate for a school place.

Natham-Dindigul road

The eastern and northern approach, with a mix of orchard owners and salaried families working in Dindigul.

Kottampatti

A neighbouring town towards Madurai district, where children usually attend state or CBSE schools and look to Madurai for anything international.

Sirumalai

The hill range to the south-west, with plantation and farming families who rely on mobile data for study.

Chinnalapatti

A handloom and weaving town near Dindigul, home to craft-business families who sometimes consider overseas courses for their children.

Dindigul town

The district headquarters, with the larger tuition market and the railway link to Madurai, Trichy and Chennai.

Alagar Koil

A temple settlement on the Madurai side whose families often send children to Madurai city schools.

Manapparai

The town on the Trichy side, a common route for Natham families moving towards Tiruchirappalli campuses.

School ecosystem

The closest city with several international-curriculum campuses, reached by road in roughly an hour or two depending on traffic. Local options in Natham itself are limited.

  • Velammal Global School
  • Vikaasa World School
  • TIPS Globeducate Madurai
  • Kalvi Intercontinental School

Nearby: Tiruchirappalli

The Cauvery-delta city to the north-east, reached by the Manapparai route. Cambridge teaching has been confirmed here.

  • Alpha Cambridge International School
  • The Indian Public School, Trichy

Nearby: Coimbatore

A longer journey west, but a major hub where families consider hostel places for the Diploma years.

  • Manchester International School, Coimbatore
  • K'sirs International School

We could not confirm an IB World School or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE centre in Natham, so the school strip is left empty. The schools below are in other cities and are named only so families can see where the nearest international options sit. IB Gram is independent of each of them and of the IB, Cambridge and Pearson; we make no claim about admission or fees at any school.

Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Natham: your questions answered

How do I find an IB tutor in Natham?+

Send us the programme, subject, level and next exam date, and we match a tutor who teaches that syllabus online. Natham has no local IB specialist, so the tutor teaches from elsewhere in India, usually for one hour after the school day. You get a short note on their experience and a free trial slot before anything is agreed.

Will a tutor come to our house in Natham?+

No, tutors do not visit homes in Natham. In-person home tuition runs only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. For Natham the lessons are online private tuition from home: a live video call on your laptop with a single tutor, a shared whiteboard and marked work returned the same day.

Can you arrange IGCSE home tuition in Natham?+

Yes, as online one-to-one lessons for Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. We match the tutor to the paper code and tier, for example Cambridge 0580 Extended Mathematics or Edexcel 4PH1 Physics. Home visits are not offered here, but the student studies from their own desk at home, and the tutor is chosen only for knowing the exam well.

What does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Natham?+

The rate depends on the subject, level, lesson length, frequency and tutor experience, and we confirm it in writing before the free trial. We do not publish a price list. A Higher Level Diploma science costs more than a Class 7 session, but a weekly online lesson saves the travel to Madurai, which many families find decisive.

Is there an IB or IGCSE school in Natham?+

We could not confirm one. The schools in and around Natham follow the Tamil Nadu State Board, with some CBSE and Matriculation options. The nearest confirmed international-curriculum campuses are in Madurai, with others in Tiruchirappalli and Coimbatore. Always check the school's current affiliation and admission details yourself.

My child studies the Tamil Nadu State Board. Can they add IGCSE-style Maths or Science?+

Yes, and several families do exactly that. The first few lessons deal with answer style: Cambridge questions ask for full sentences, command words and method marks. A tutor can cover the extra topics, such as functions notation or practical-paper skills, while the child continues the state syllabus, but the workload should be agreed honestly at the trial.

Can we try a lesson before paying?+

Yes. Every match begins with a free trial lesson on a real topic from your child's present unit. Afterwards the tutor sends a short written note on what was covered and what they suggest next, and only then do you decide whether to continue. If the fit is wrong, we propose a different tutor at no extra charge.

Will a tutor write my child's IA or Extended Essay?+

No. Tutors never write an Internal Assessment, Extended Essay, TOK essay or any coursework. They can explain the assessment criteria, help the student plan, read a draft and point out where marks are being lost. The work submitted must be the student's own, as the IB and school rules require.

Which IB Diploma subjects can you cover?+

Maths AA and AI at HL and SL, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Systems and Societies, Economics, Business Management, Computer Science, Geography, Psychology, English A, and Hindi B and Tamil B for language study. Tell us the subject and level and we confirm whether a tutor with recent experience is available for your exam series.

Do you help with MYP and PYP students?+

Yes. MYP tutoring works on criteria-based tasks in Sciences, Maths and Language, and on the planning journal for the Personal Project. PYP tutoring builds reading, writing and number confidence and supports the Exhibition process at home, with lessons designed to be short and lively for younger children.

Is online tutoring good enough in a town like Natham?+

For an international syllabus it is the practical route, because no local specialist is available. A stable broadband or 4G connection, a laptop or tablet and a quiet space are enough. Shared whiteboards and marked past papers replace the blackboard, and most children adapt within two or three lessons.

What happens if the power or network fails during a lesson?+

Tell the tutor as soon as you can and the lesson is moved, usually to the next day or a nearby slot. During the northeast monsoon we advise keeping one spare slot each week. Having a mobile hotspot ready as a backup is a simple precaution that works for most families.

How are the tutors vetted?+

We check qualifications, recent teaching of the exact course and how the tutor handles assessment criteria and mark schemes. A short demonstration lesson is part of the selection. The free trial is also your check: if the teaching does not suit the child, we replace the tutor without argument.

When should a Natham student start tutoring?+

As early in the course as practical: Class 11 for the Diploma, Grade 9 for IGCSE and Year 4 for MYP. Starting early leaves time to fix gaps before mocks. If your child is already close to an exam, tell us the date and a revision plan will be built backwards from it.

Can you teach Tamil or Hindi for IB and IGCSE?+

Hindi B is covered at Standard and Higher Level in the IB, and Hindi as a second language for IGCSE. Tamil B and Cambridge Tamil as a second language are available where the school enters those papers; we confirm the exact syllabus code before matching, because language tutor supply is smaller than for Maths.

Is IB Gram connected to a school or examining board?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutoring service with no affiliation to, endorsement from or payment link with the IB, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel or any school named here. School names appear only to help families understand where the nearest international campuses are.

Can a student in Natham sit IGCSE or IB papers as a private candidate?+

Sometimes. Cambridge and Pearson allow private candidates through authorised centres, and registration is early, often several months before the series. The IB Diploma is normally taken through a school. We cannot register a student, but tutors can prepare one for the papers, and the exam centre confirms the deadlines.

How do I get started?+

Send the programme or board, subject, level, current grade and preferred hours to support@ibgram.com or on WhatsApp at +91 7439 368 115. You need a laptop or tablet and a steady internet connection. We reply with a tutor match, a rate in writing and trial lesson times.
