How we match an IB & IGCSE home tutor for Ecole Mondiale World School students in Mumbai

A request that names a school is a different request from one that names a subject. When a parent writes to us about a child at Ecole Mondiale World School in Juhu, the first question we ask is not which subject is slipping. It is which programme year the child sits in. A Grade 4 student in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), a Grade 9 student in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and a Grade 11 Diploma Programme (DP) student need three different sorts of tutor, and only the last of those three is working towards an external examination.

That one answer changes everything after it. For a PYP child we look for a tutor who can sit with a unit of inquiry and build research and note-taking habits, not someone who drills sums for an hour. For MYP we look for fluency in criterion-based marking: a tutor who can read a task sheet, point at the command term, and show a student what separates a level 4 descriptor from a level 7 descriptor in that exact subject. For DP we look for subject depth, Internal Assessment (IA) supervision experience, and a realistic sense of how many drafts a student actually needs.

The sequence from your first message to a first lesson usually runs over a few days rather than a few hours, because the shortlisting step is the one that decides whether the match holds for a full term. We would rather spend two extra days finding a tutor who can hold a Tuesday evening slot in Juhu until March than send you someone free this week who drops the slot in November.

There are two things we do not do. We do not hold or claim access to any school's internal task sheets, mark books, teacher comments or assessment materials, and we do not approach school staff. Everything a tutor works from comes from you and your child: the report you received, the marked task that came home, the calendar the school publishes to its own parents. An IB and IGCSE home tutor in Mumbai who offers you more than that is offering something no honest platform can supply.

  • 1. Tell us the programme year, the subjects and your area in Mumbai.
  • 2. We shortlist by programme stage first, then by subject depth.
  • 3. You see qualifications, subjects taught and travel radius before any introduction.
  • 4. The first session runs as a diagnostic on real marked work.
  • 5. You confirm a weekly slot, or we shortlist again from scratch.

PYP, MYP or DP: which stage is your child actually in?

Ecole Mondiale World School is, as a matter of public record, a full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum school in Juhu offering the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. A continuum child can therefore move from the early years to Grade 12 without ever sitting an external board examination until the DP papers themselves. That single fact should shape what you ask a tutor for at every stage before Grade 11.

PYP is transdisciplinary. Children work through units of inquiry, gather evidence, and finish the programme with the Exhibition, a student-led inquiry presented to the school community. There is no external mark anywhere in it. MYP runs five years across eight subject groups, and every subject is marked against four published criteria, each out of 8, which are then converted to a 1 to 7 grade. MYP 5 adds the Personal Project, and Service as Action runs across the whole programme.

DP is the first programme with an external examiner at the end of it. Six subjects, usually three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL), sit alongside the core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Every subject carries an Internal Assessment marked by the teacher and moderated by the IB, and the written papers come in the May session of Grade 12.

Here is where the continuum advantage quietly becomes a continuum problem. A student who joins DP from an IGCSE school has already sat two years of timed external papers and knows what a three-hour morning feels like. A continuum student has usually never done it. In our experience that gap shows up in timing and in exam-condition writing stamina rather than in understanding, which is why we often suggest a home tutor for all IB and IGCSE subjects in Mumbai start timed writing practice in MYP 5, a full year before DP begins.

  • PYP ends with the Exhibition, a student-led inquiry rather than an exam.
  • MYP marks four criteria out of 8 in every subject group.
  • MYP 5 carries the Personal Project alongside ordinary subject assessment.
  • DP adds TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS to six subjects.
  • The first external IB papers arrive only in Grade 12.

Subject choice across both boards: HL, SL, Core and Extended, and what each one assesses

In MYP there is very little subject choice to make until the last two years, when language acquisition phases, and the arts and design options, start to separate students. What does need managing much earlier is criterion literacy. MYP Sciences marks Criterion A (knowing and understanding), B (inquiring and designing), C (processing and evaluating) and D (reflecting on the impacts of science). Mathematics uses knowing and understanding, investigating patterns, communicating, and applying mathematics in real-life contexts. Language and Literature marks analysing, organising, producing text and using language. A child can understand the content and still lose a band because nobody taught them what organising means to an MYP examiner.

DP choice is real and consequential. Mathematics splits into Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation, each at HL or SL, and the wrong pick in Grade 11 is painful to undo in Grade 12. Sciences, Individuals and Societies and Language B all offer HL and SL routes, where HL means more content, usually an extra paper, and a longer leash on the Internal Assessment. A parent wanting cover across all IB and IGCSE subjects at IGCSE Years 9-11 looks for tutors in Mumbai who can hold two of those subjects well rather than six badly.

The IGCSE half of this page matters to a continuum family in two situations: your child joined from an IGCSE school, or you are considering a move to one of the IGCSE schools elsewhere in Mumbai. There the decisions are Core versus Extended tier, which caps the grades a candidate can be awarded, and whether the centre follows Cambridge International Education or Pearson Edexcel, since the coursework and practical arrangements differ. We cover all IB and IGCSE subjects with home tutors in Mumbai, but we match one tutor to one or two subjects, never a generalist to a whole timetable.

Internal assessment is the thread running through both boards. A DP Sciences IA, a Mathematics exploration, a History IA and a Business Management IA each have their own criteria and their own word limits, and each needs a different kind of help: a research question that is actually answerable, a data set that is actually collectable in Mumbai, and a draft submitted early enough for the teacher's one permitted round of written feedback to be worth something.

  • MYP Sciences, Mathematics and Language A each use four published criteria.
  • DP Mathematics splits into Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation.
  • HL adds content, an extra paper and a longer Internal Assessment expectation.
  • IGCSE Core and Extended tiers cap the grades a candidate can earn.
  • Cambridge International Education and Pearson Edexcel set different coursework rules.

Home tuition in Juhu, JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle West and Khar West, and across Mumbai

Families at this school mostly live inside a small triangle: Juhu itself, the JVPD Scheme roads behind it, Vile Parle West on the other side of S.V. Road, and Khar West a short run down Linking Road. A few come from Santacruz West and Andheri West. In Mumbai, Maharashtra, that triangle is unusually tutor-friendly, because the whole of it sits between two Western Line stations, Vile Parle and Santacruz, and a tutor can reach most of it without ever touching the Western Express Highway.

The constraint is the clock, not the distance. Juhu Tara Road, Gulmohar Road and the JVPD Scheme internal roads are quiet at four in the afternoon and solid from about half past six, and school pickup around Juhu narrows them again in the early afternoon. A tutor living in Andheri West can be at a JVPD Scheme flat in fifteen minutes off-peak and forty in the evening peak, so we try to fix the slot and the direction of travel together. Metro Line 1 from Versova through Andheri to Ghatkopar, and Metro Lines 2A and 7 running down from Dahisar, widen the pool of tutors who can hold an early evening slot here without driving.

We also match for IB and IGCSE tutors near me in Mumbai well beyond Juhu, because families move and siblings study elsewhere. In South Mumbai we cover Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Worli and Peddar Road, where the Coastal Road and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link now decide whether a Bandra tutor can take a 7pm slot at all. Across the Western Suburbs we cover Bandra West, Khar West, Santacruz, Andheri and Malad along the Western Line. In the Central Suburbs we cover Powai, Chandivali, Ghatkopar and Kurla, reached by JVLR and the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road rather than by any station of their own.

The Eastern Suburbs run from Chembur and Vikhroli up to Bhandup and Mulund on the Central and Harbour lines, with the Eastern Freeway and the Eastern Express Highway doing the heavy lifting. Navi Mumbai is matched node to node: Vashi, Nerul, Belapur and Kharghar along Palm Beach Road, with the Atal Setu now making the island city reachable in a way it was not. Thane we match within Thane, from the station across Pokhran Road to Ghodbunder Road. For an IB and IGCSE home tutor for Ecole Mondiale World School students in Mumbai, though, we almost always stay inside the Juhu, JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle West and Khar West ring, because that is the match that survives the monsoon.

  • Juhu Tara Road and S.V. Road set the realistic evening travel window.
  • Vile Parle and Santacruz stations put tutors on the Western Line.
  • Metro Line 1 brings tutors from Versova, Andheri and Ghatkopar.
  • JVPD Scheme and Khar West are one Linking Road hop apart.
  • Tutors are matched along the corridor, never across the whole city.

What the Mumbai IB calendar does to a continuum family's year

Check the calendar your own school publishes to parents, because dates differ by campus and we do not speak for any school. The shape below is what IB families in Mumbai generally plan around, and it is driven by one fixed point: the Diploma Programme examinations sit in the May session, and every internal deadline in the two years before them is reverse-engineered from that date.

November and December are the first pressure point, with MYP semester tasks landing together and DP1 internal examinations in the same weeks. January and February are the hardest stretch in the whole continuum: DP Internal Assessment final drafts, the Extended Essay, and the TOK essay all converge, and MYP 5 students are finishing the Personal Project report at the same moment. February and March bring DP mock examinations and then study leave. June and July belong to the monsoon, when travel is slowest and tuition demand is lowest, which makes them the easiest months to start a new tutor rather than the obvious ones.

Juhu complicates this for families with children at more than one school. Jamnabai Narsee International School and Utpal Shanghvi Global School are both in the Juhu area and both run IGCSE or IB DP pathways, and their assessment weeks do not line up with a continuum school's. A parent running a Grade 10 IGCSE candidate and an MYP 4 student in the same flat is running two calendars, two sets of deadlines and often two tutors on alternating evenings.

The practical consequence is about booking, not about panic. Demand for DP Sciences, Mathematics and Economics tutors in the Western Suburbs peaks just before the IA window, which is exactly when the good ones have no slots left. If you know your child will need help in January, the time to find a home tutor for all IB and IGCSE subjects in Mumbai is August or September, when a tutor can still choose your Tuesday at six rather than offering you a Sunday morning.

  • November and December: MYP semester tasks plus DP1 internal examinations.
  • January and February: Internal Assessment, Extended Essay and TOK deadlines collide.
  • February and March: DP mock examinations, then study leave.
  • May: the external Diploma Programme papers for Grade 12.
  • June and July: monsoon travel, and the quietest month to start.

Home tuition, online or hybrid for a Mumbai continuum student?

For PYP and MYP students, home tuition wins almost every time. A nine-year-old working on a unit of inquiry needs an adult in the room who can see the page, close the other tab, and notice when attention goes. An IB and IGCSE home tutor for Ecole Mondiale World School students in Mumbai also sees the things a camera hides: that the study table is in the living room, that homework starts at nine at night, that the laptop belongs to an older sibling until eight.

The honest cost of home tuition is time and fragility. A tutor travelling from Andheri West to JVPD Scheme spends an hour on the road for a ninety-minute lesson, which means fewer slots in their week and a strong preference for a fixed day. Monsoon weeks and a waterlogged S.V. Road cancel visits that online sessions would have survived. Agree the fallback in advance: a visit that cannot happen becomes an online session at the same hour, not a lost week.

IB and IGCSE online tutoring in Mumbai earns its place in two specific situations. The first is subject scarcity: HL Physics, HL Economics, Computer Science and the less common Language B options have thin tutor pools, and insisting on someone who can drive to Juhu on a Wednesday can mean waiting a month for a weaker match. The second is drafting. Reviewing an IA or an Extended Essay over a shared screen, with the examiner criteria open in a second window, is genuinely better online than hunched over one laptop at a dining table.

Hybrid is what most DP families here settle into by the second term: one home session a week for teaching, and a short online check midweek for drafts, corrections and a look at what was actually submitted. It keeps the relationship face to face while cutting travel out of the half of the work that does not need it, and it survives both exam leave and a week of heavy rain.

  • Home tuition suits PYP and MYP students who need supervision, not content.
  • Online suits scarce HL subjects and drafting work over a shared screen.
  • Hybrid keeps one weekly home session and a short midweek online check.
  • Agree in advance that a rained-off visit moves online, not away.
  • A door, a table and a charged laptop beat a bedroom corner.

How are tutors verified, and what should a Mumbai parent check for themselves?

We check three things before a tutor is introduced to you: government photo identity, documentary evidence of the qualification they claim, and subject knowledge screened by someone who has taught that subject at that level. We also ask for teaching history and references where a tutor has them. We will not pretend this is the same as a police background check. If you want one for somebody who will be in your flat weekly, say so and arrange it; it is a reasonable thing for a parent in Juhu to want and we will not be offended.

The checks you run yourself are the ones that actually predict the term ahead. Hand the tutor one returned MYP task with the criteria sheet stapled to it and ask them to explain, out loud, why the teacher awarded that level and what the next band needs. Ask what a command term like evaluate or justify requires in that subject. Ask how many IA drafts they will read and by what date. A tutor who answers those three questions concretely is worth more than one with a longer list of degrees.

One more check matters on a school page like this one. Parents who search for the best IB and IGCSE tutor in Mumbai often end up talking to someone who hints at inside knowledge of a particular school: a copy of last year's task, a line to a teacher, an idea of what is coming. Treat that as a reason to end the conversation. It is either untrue or it is academic dishonesty, and both land on your child, not on the tutor.

IB Gram is an independent tutor-matching platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Ecole Mondiale World School or any other school named on this page, and we have no access to their materials or their staff. What we offer is an IB and IGCSE home tutor for Ecole Mondiale World School students in Mumbai who understands the programmes your child is in, which is a different and more useful thing.

  • Photo identity and qualification evidence are checked before any introduction.
  • Subject screening is done by someone who has taught that subject.
  • Ask the tutor to mark one returned task against the published criteria.
  • Ask how many IA drafts they will read, and by when.
  • Treat any claim of inside school access as a reason to stop.

The PYP Exhibition and the MYP Personal Project: what a tutor can and cannot do

These two pieces are where a continuum education asks a child to work alone for the first time, and they are the two places where tutoring goes wrong most often. Both are assessed on process, both are supervised by school staff, and both have an academic honesty requirement that makes an undeclared tutor a problem rather than a help. Tell the school a tutor is involved. Supervisors expect it, and the student's own reflection is where the marks live anyway.

For the PYP Exhibition, the useful help is unglamorous. A tutor teaches a ten-year-old how to turn a central idea into lines of inquiry that can actually be researched, how to tell a usable source from a search result, how to take notes in their own words rather than copying, and how to plan backwards from the presentation date so the last week is rehearsal rather than panic. A tutor who supplies content, slides or sentences has broken the task. A tutor who sits through one rehearsal and asks three hard questions has done the job.

A worked example from MYP makes the point sharper. Take a Grade 9 Sciences investigation into how salt concentration affects potato cylinders, assessed on Criterion B, inquiring and designing, out of 8. Most students write: I will change the salt and measure the potato. That is a level 2 answer. It has no measurable independent variable, no stated control, and no reasoning. The level 7 version names the variable and its range (sodium chloride solution at five concentrations from 0.0 to 1.0 mol per cubic decimetre), states a hypothesis with osmosis and water potential as the reason, lists controlled variables with the method of control beside each one (same cork borer diameter, same immersion time, each cylinder blotted the same number of times), plans repeats, and draws the blank results table before touching a potato. Not one of those improvements is about potatoes. That is why we teach the criterion rather than the topic: one good session on Criterion B pays out on every investigation that student runs for the rest of the year.

The Personal Project works the same way, scaled up. It is marked on planning, applying skills and reflecting, and the process journal is the evidence for all three. The students who struggle are rarely short of ability; they are short of entries, because they did the work and forgot to record it. An IB and IGCSE private tutor in Mumbai earns their fee here with a twenty-minute weekly check: what did you do, what went wrong, what did you change, write it down now. The product matters far less than most families expect.

  • Exhibition work needs source evaluation and a plan, not borrowed content.
  • Criterion B marks the variables table, not how the practical turned out.
  • One process journal entry per working session is the Personal Project backbone.
  • Declare the tutor to the supervisor; academic honesty rules require it.
  • One criterion taught well transfers to every task that year.

What should progress look like after four weeks, one term and one exam cycle?

After four weeks, expect a diagnosis and a habit, not a grade. A tutor who has seen four sessions of real work should be able to tell you something specific that you did not know: that your MYP 4 child understands the science and loses marks on Criterion C graphs, that the DP1 student is reading the question but answering a different one, that nothing is wrong academically and the problem is a nine-thirty start to homework. One changed habit, like a variables table written before the practical, is a good four-week outcome.

After one term, a criterion band or a predicted grade can move, and often one does. It can also sit still while the underlying work improves, especially in MYP where a single weak criterion drags the converted grade. We do not guarantee grades and no honest tutor will, because the tutor controls perhaps two hours of a week that contains thirty hours of school. What a term should produce is a child who can say what their current level is and what the next one needs.

Across one full exam cycle, the realistic wins are timing, completeness and drafting discipline: fewer unattempted marks at the end of a paper, an IA finished early enough to use the teacher's feedback, an Extended Essay that did not eat the February holidays. For continuum students specifically, the thing most worth buying in DP1 is exam-condition practice, because it is the one skill the previous eleven years did not require.

When it is not working, tell us in week three rather than month three. Nobody at IB Gram is offended by a re-match; we would rather replace a tutor in October than defend one in March. Tell us what is wrong in behavioural terms, like the child goes quiet, or the tutor talks for fifty minutes, and we will shortlist again from the brief. There is no charge for the shortlist and no argument about it.

  • Four weeks: a specific diagnosis, one habit change, and a question list.
  • One term: one criterion band, or a steadier predicted grade.
  • One exam cycle: better timing, fewer unattempted marks, calmer drafting.
  • We do not guarantee grades, and no honest tutor will.
  • Tell us in week three if the match is not working.

Starting IB and IGCSE home classes in Mumbai: what to have ready

Three documents make the first session four times more useful. Send the most recent report, two pieces of marked work with the teacher's comments still on them, and the assessment calendar the school already gives you as a parent. If your child uses a school portal, have the login to hand so the tutor can see the actual task sheet rather than a description of it. We never ask for anything the school has not already given you.

The first session is a diagnostic, and it should feel like one. The tutor works through the marked task with your child, finds where the marks were lost, checks whether the cause is content, criterion understanding or timing, and ends with a written plan: what we will cover in the next four sessions, what your child does between them, and what you should see by week four. If a tutor wants to start teaching Chapter 1 instead, that is a signal.

Then fix the logistics once and stop thinking about them. Agree a standing day and time, the room, and whether an adult is home. Arrange a standing gate pass with your society office rather than a visitor entry every week, because in most Juhu and JVPD Scheme buildings the second week is when the lift queue eats ten minutes of the lesson. A tutor can take all IB and IGCSE subjects through home classes in Mumbai only when the slot itself is boring and predictable.

Tell us the programme year, the subjects, your area and two time windows that genuinely work, and we will come back with a shortlist rather than a sales call. IB Gram remains an independent platform with no affiliation to Ecole Mondiale World School, and the only promise we make is about the match and the process, not about the grade at the end of it.

  • Send the last report and two pieces of marked work.
  • Send the assessment calendar the school already gives parents.
  • Agree the weekly slot, the room, and who is home.
  • Arrange a standing gate pass instead of a weekly visitor entry.
  • Expect the first session to end with a written plan.
FAQs

Mumbai tutoring — questions parents ask

Is IB Gram connected to Ecole Mondiale World School in any way?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutor-matching platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Ecole Mondiale World School, and the school is named here only as local context for parents searching. We have no access to its staff, its internal task sheets, its mark books or its assessment materials, and no tutor on our platform should suggest otherwise. A tutor works from what you give them: the report you received, the marked work your child brings home, and the calendar the school publishes to its own parents. Anyone hinting at an inside line is describing something that does not exist.

My child is in PYP. Is a tutor too early?+

Often yes, and we will say so rather than sell you a slot. Most PYP children who look like they need tutoring need reading stamina, a predictable homework hour, or help turning a unit of inquiry into questions they can actually research. That is four to six sessions of work, not a standing weekly commitment for a year. Where a PYP tutor does earn their place is English as an additional language, a child who has changed curriculum mid-year, or the Exhibition term, where planning and source skills matter and most parents would rather not be the one enforcing them at home.

Will a home tutor come to our building in JVPD Scheme on a weekday evening?+

Yes, and the weekday evening slot in JVPD Scheme is the most requested one we fill. The practical limits are traffic and sequencing: a tutor finishing a session in Khar West at six will not reliably reach Juhu before seven, so we match the slot and the tutor's direction of travel at the same time. Earlier slots, from four to six, are easier to fill and hold better across a full term. If your child only becomes available at eight, say so at the start, because that narrows the pool and is much cheaper to solve before a tutor is introduced than after.

How does society gate access work for a home tutor in Juhu?+

Arrange a standing entry at your society office in the first week rather than a fresh visitor pass each time. Most buildings in Juhu, JVPD Scheme and Vile Parle West will register a regular visitor once a resident confirms the day, time and purpose, and some ask for a photo identity copy, which a verified tutor will provide without fuss. Do it early: a tutor who spends ten minutes at the gate and in the lift queue every week is being paid for teaching time they are not teaching. Tell us if your building needs the request raised through an app rather than at the desk.

What do IB and IGCSE tuition fees in Mumbai depend on?+

Fees depend on five things, and we would rather explain them than quote a figure that will be wrong for your case. Programme and level matter most: DP Higher Level costs more than MYP, which costs more than PYP support. Subject scarcity matters next, since HL Physics, Computer Science and the rarer Language B options have far fewer qualified tutors than Mathematics or Economics. Then travel distance and the time it eats, session length and frequency, and whether you are booking a term or a crisis fortnight before a deadline. Home visits cost more than online for the same tutor, because travel is real time.

Can a tutor help with the MYP Personal Project without doing it for my child?+

Yes, and the help that works is almost entirely about process. The Personal Project is marked on planning, applying skills and reflecting, with the process journal as the evidence, so a tutor's job is to hold a short weekly check: what did you do this week, what failed, what did you change, write it down now. They can also teach source evaluation and interview technique, and rehearse the presentation. They cannot choose the goal, make the product or write the report, and the tutor should be declared to the supervisor. Students usually lose marks on journal entries, not on ability.

Does online tutoring really work for an MYP student?+

It works for focused, short-horizon work and struggles as a default. An MYP 4 or 5 student revising a specific criterion, going through a returned task, or building a Personal Project journal entry does fine online, especially with a document open on a shared screen. A younger MYP student who needs someone to notice drifting attention does better with a tutor in the room. Our usual recommendation for Juhu families is a home session weekly plus one short online check, which keeps the teaching face to face and puts the admin and drafting work where travel is not required.

We may move our child to an IGCSE school after MYP 3. What changes?+

Three things change quickly. First, assessment becomes external: your child will sit real board papers at the end of Year 11, which no continuum student has done before. Second, tiering appears, with Core and Extended routes in several subjects capping the grades available, and that decision is usually made in Year 10. Third, mark schemes replace criteria, so answers are built for specific marking points rather than level descriptors. A term of past-paper technique before the move is usually enough, and it is the single most useful thing a tutor can do in that year.

The tutor is not working out after three sessions. What happens?+

Tell us and we re-shortlist, with no charge for the shortlist and no attempt to talk you out of it. It helps enormously if you describe the behaviour rather than the feeling: the tutor talks for most of the session, the child goes silent, homework is not being set, the drafts are not being read. That detail changes who we put forward next, whereas not a good fit tells us nothing. Most mismatches we see are style rather than competence, which is fixable in one swap. A tutor who was wrong for one child is often right for another.

There is no visible progress after a month. Is that normal?+

Sometimes, and the question to ask is what did change. Four weeks is enough to expect a specific diagnosis and one habit, not a grade: work started earlier, a variables table written before the practical, a question list taken into school. If none of that has happened either, the match is wrong and we should move. If it has happened and the marks have not moved yet, that is ordinary, particularly in MYP where one weak criterion holds down a converted grade until it is fixed. We do not guarantee grades at any point in this.

How far will a tutor travel, from Khar West or Vile Parle West to Juhu?+

Within this corridor, routinely. Khar West to Juhu along Linking Road, or Vile Parle West across S.V. Road, is a normal weekly trip and tutors hold those slots for a full term. Santacruz West and Andheri West are equally workable. What does not hold is a tutor pulled from Powai, Chembur or Thane for a weekday evening in Juhu: it works for a month and then the slot slips. For scarce Higher Level subjects we will suggest online with that tutor rather than a long weekday drive that nobody enjoys by November.

Can one tutor take two children, one in PYP and one in DP?+

Almost never, and we would push back if you asked. The two jobs need different people: PYP support is about inquiry habits and supervision, while DP support is about subject depth, Internal Assessment drafting and exam technique. A tutor strong at one is rarely strong at the other, and splitting an evening between them usually shortchanges the older child. What does work is two tutors on different evenings, or the same evening in sequence if your flat has two usable rooms. We will plan the schedule around one adult being home.
