The teaching is private and personal, though it arrives on a screen: your child sits at home, a subject specialist joins live from another Indian city, and the hour belongs entirely to one student. Tutors do not drive out to Malpura, since in-person home visits exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

  • Shortlists are made from your child's actual IB subject and level or IGCSE syllabus code
  • All teaching is online; in-person home tuition is available only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR

IB & IGCSE in Malpura

IB and IGCSE tutoring, seen from Malpura

Malpura is best known outside Rajasthan for a sheep. The Malpura breed, bred for hardiness in dry country, gave the town its name in animal-science circles, and the Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute at Avikanagar sits in the same tehsil. Around it spread wheat, mustard, barley and pulse fields, helped in recent years by canal water from the Bisalpur project. Jaipur is about a hundred kilometres away, close enough for weekly trips and far enough that daily commuting to a city school is rare.

Education in the town follows the Rajasthan Board in Hindi and English medium, with a few CBSE schools. Famous women's education at Banasthali Vidyapith lies not far off in the same district. What Malpura does not have, as far as we could confirm, is an IB World School or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE centre, and we would rather say so than pretend.

Interest in these syllabuses, when it comes, tends to come from three directions. Scientists and staff at the research institute are transferred between campuses and sometimes have children already on a different board. Families with relatives in Dubai, Canada or the UK see an international qualification as portable. And a few Malpura students, ahead of their class, simply want more than the board paper offers.

The solution is to find a specialist nationally and teach on video. Tutors do not visit homes in Malpura; our in-person service runs only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. IB Gram is independent of schools and exam bodies, and tutors never write a student's assessed coursework.

IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Malpura school years

No programme below is taught in a Malpura classroom that we can verify. They reach a family here through transfers, relatives abroad or private study, and the sections show how a tutor helps at each stage.

PYPClass 1-5, ages 6-11

IB Primary Years Programme

Imagine Class 4 pupils asked how a sheep's fleece becomes a blanket, then visiting, measuring, drawing and presenting what they find; that is PYP inquiry. The programme closes with the Exhibition. Tutors strengthen early reading, number work and the nerve to explain an idea to others.

A child from a Hindi-medium primary class near Malpura often needs relaxed spoken English practice before inquiry units feel natural.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Each MYP subject is graded on four published criteria, and every student develops a Personal Project. The tough step is moving from describing to evaluating. A tutor models a strong answer, then lets the student try a fresh one.

A student leaving an RBSE classroom for MYP meets criterion-based marking and long written responses for the first time.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

A Diploma candidate studies three subjects at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, plus the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS. May or November papers and internal work combine for a maximum of 45 points. Tutors teach understanding and technique; every assessed line is the student's.

A Diploma student with a Malpura address almost certainly attends a school in Jaipur, Delhi NCR or abroad, so lessons follow that school's calendar.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

Combining a handful of Diploma courses with a career-related study and a reflective project, the CP suits practical learners. India has few CP schools.

Requests from Tonk district are rare and usually concern Business or Maths within a CP plan.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

A Malpura parent seldom wants general IB support. The need is nearer to Biology HL practicals before a March mock or Economics essays before a deadline. Tell us the subject, level and exam session, and we begin there.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Calculus, functions and proof-style reasoning for would-be engineers and scientists, with unfamiliar HL problems to practise on.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Probability, statistics and modelling with a graphing calculator, aimed at future commerce and social science students.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, waves, circuits and fields, with graph and uncertainty questions practised calmly against the clock.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Moles, bonding and organic routes, with the data booklet used as examiners expect.

IB Biology

HL / SL

From enzymes to ecosystems, with animal breeding and genetics as natural talking points in sheep country.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Wool and mustard prices, canal water and rural credit give sharp local material for supply, demand and policy.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case studies and business tools, illustrated with dairy, wool and agro-processing enterprises.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Unseen passages taken apart, comparative essays built and the oral rehearsed.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Code written, run and debugged live, because tidy logic on paper often misbehaves on screen.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Landmark studies, how to evaluate them and how to shape long answers.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL / HL

Semi-arid grazing, groundwater and dam-fed irrigation as living examples.

IB Hindi A / B

HL / SL

Analysis of literature for native readers, or register and text types for learners of Hindi as a second language.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP Core

Practice in testing how claims are justified; the essay and exhibition remain the student's.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

No Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE school near Malpura has come to our notice, so enquiries come from private candidates and from families preparing for a school change. We agree board, code and tier at the start.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Extended asks for brisk, neat algebra; Core asks for clear working that picks up method marks.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 9-10

Brings calculus and functions forward so the later move to IB or A Level Maths feels shorter.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Equations, plus the alternative-to-practical paper, practised alongside each other.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations and identification tests, rehearsed with past-paper wording.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Inheritance, plant science and human biology, practised through long-answer questions.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Definition, diagram and judgement, each sized to the marks it earns.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Programming in Python and in pseudocode, next to the written theory.

IGCSE English (Second Language) 0510

Grade 9-10

Reading, writing, listening and speaking for pupils from Hindi-medium homes.

IGCSE Agriculture 0600

Grade 9-10

Crop, soil and livestock topics that connect directly to the district's farming base.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Malpura school timetables

Every Malpura lesson is live, one-to-one and online, and families differ only in pace. House calls are a Gurugram and Delhi NCR service.

Standing weekly class

A single tutor at a single weekly hour, in a quiet spot at home. Within a term the tutor knows how your child reasons and shapes the practice to match.

  • Same tutor, same slot
  • Whatever the stage, PYP up to Diploma or IGCSE
  • Papers marked live during the call

Weekly class with a written trail

The usual lesson, with a short written note at the end of each session and a longer review every few weeks, useful for scientist families on postings.

  • A summary after every class
  • Regular review of the plan
  • A second weekly slot is easy to add

Pre-exam push

Sessions are packed into the weeks before a mock or a May or November series. Timed papers come back marked within days, and the plan dodges harvest weeks and festival days.

  • Scripts marked to the published scheme
  • Feedback inside days
  • Best booked two to three weeks ahead

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Malpura

01

Which Malpura families ask about IB and IGCSE?

Malpura is a farming and research town, and its education map reflects that. Most children study under the Rajasthan Board and prepare for REET, NEET, JEE, agricultural entrance tests or government jobs. The Avikanagar campus adds a population of scientists, technicians and administrators, many of whom have lived in several states and are used to comparing boards.

The enquiries we receive are therefore few but specific. A researcher posted to Avikanagar may have a child midway through a CBSE or IB course elsewhere. A father working in the Gulf may want his daughter to hold a qualification accepted abroad. A student at Banasthali's school-level programmes or at a local school may be curious about the Diploma.

No classroom nearby has taught IB Chemistry HL or IGCSE Extended Maths this year. Rather than invent a local option, we choose the tutor nationally and teach by video, so the child keeps a Malpura routine and still studies with a specialist.

The papers do not depend on postcode. A Cambridge script from Malpura is marked against the same scheme as one from Mumbai, and IB moderators apply a single standard.

02

How does the Rajasthan Board compare with IB and IGCSE?

Rajasthan Board papers at Classes 10 and 12 are organised around a prescribed textbook and a foreseeable scheme of marks, leading on to REET, NEET or JEE. IB and Cambridge IGCSE do something else: they hand the candidate an unfamiliar situation and expect a justified written answer.

Language is the bigger jump for a Hindi-medium student. Biology wants precise English terms and Economics wants a visible argument, so the early weeks combine fresh content with a good deal of writing.

Coursework brings a further change. An IB Internal Assessment or an IGCSE practical demands independent planning and honest data, which few board students have attempted. Children who help on a farm often handle fieldwork surprisingly well.

None of this is a verdict on the board, which builds speed and memory. The international route tests a second set of abilities.

03

How should a Malpura family think about tuition fees?

There is no rate card on this website, since the answer changes with the course. Few tutors can teach Physics HL or Maths HL to current IB standard, so those hours cost more than IGCSE Core subjects, where the pool is larger.

Familiarity with the syllabus is the next factor. A tutor who taught the course last year, or marked its papers, spots a weak area sooner, which often shortens the programme.

Hours per week count as well. One lesson is a modest outlay; three before a mock cost more that week, although a compact block can finish sooner than a long, thin one.

After your child has tried a free lesson, a written figure follows. Nothing is charged before you agree, and a different tutor is offered if the fit is poor.

04

Online tutor, Jaipur coaching or self-study from Malpura?

Jaipur's tuition market is enormous but aimed at board papers, NEET and JEE. Its teachers seldom handle IB command terms or IGCSE practical papers, and the highway trip eats hours from a school week.

A private tutor in Malpura or Tonk may know a subject deeply, yet with so few international schools nearby almost none has taught the exact papers.

Video teaching bridges that gap: a tutor in Pune or Chennai, a student in Malpura, paired by expertise.

Without marking, a past paper teaches little.

05

How do heat, harvest and festivals shape the study year in Malpura?

Exam windows are simple. Indian Diploma students mostly sit in May, a few schools in November. Cambridge IGCSE runs May-June and October-November, with results in July and January respectively. Your child's own centre will give exact dates.

Eastern Rajasthan is hot and dry from April into June, and the loo can push afternoons past 44 degrees. Early-morning or late-evening lessons suit those months, while the cool season from November to February is the best time for long study blocks.

Farming sets another rhythm. Wheat and mustard are harvested around March and April, and many households are busy in the fields. Gangaur, Teej, Raksha Bandhan, Dussehra and Diwali each take a few days.

We count back from the exam date and leave spare days around these events.

06

What can a Malpura student do after IB or IGCSE?

In India, the Association of Indian Universities issues the equivalence certificates for the Diploma and for Cambridge qualifications, and students from international boards may sit CUET-UG. Jaipur, Delhi and other universities treat IB scores in their own ways, so read each institution's page.

Two careers have strict entry conditions: JEE Main and NEET name the subjects a candidate needs, so check the latest bulletins before fixing Class 11. Students leaning to agriculture or veterinary courses should read those programmes' own eligibility notes.

Abroad, admissions offices in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe read IB totals directly. A Malpura student with a scientific bent might consider agricultural engineering, animal science or environmental degrees overseas.

What we offer is teaching and exam rehearsal. University forms, personal statements and portfolios remain with the student.

07

How does teaching on video work for IB Maths and the sciences?

IB Maths has two lanes. Analysis and Approaches is for students who relish rearranging algebra and differentiating; Applications and Interpretation is for those who prefer datasets and calculator work. Higher or Standard Level comes next, and the intended degree normally settles everything.

Both of you write on one shared digital whiteboard, so a tricky question is worked out jointly. Afterwards your child photographs handwritten solutions, which return with remarks beside each line. Many students prefer that to a tick and a cross at the bottom of a page.

Science marks tend to leak in three familiar places: a unit dropped midway through Physics, a half-remembered data booklet in Chemistry, a loose definition in Biology. We open each course by plugging the biggest leak for the student in front of us.

Internal assessments are covered only at planning and criteria level; the investigation and write-up belong to the student.

08

Core or Extended IGCSE, and how many subjects?

At IGCSE, Maths and the sciences come in two tiers. Core ends at grade C; Extended goes up to A*. A Malpura child hoping for IB Physics or A Level Maths later should sit Extended from the start.

Choosing how many subjects to sit is the other decision. Nine may swamp a child who also studies Hindi; five could narrow later choices. A sensible middle is English, Maths, two sciences, one humanity and a language.

Agriculture and Environmental Management suit children who grow up around farms and want a subject with familiar ground.

Pearson Edexcel uses a similar tier structure with different papers; tell us early which board your child's centre has chosen.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Malpura

In Malpura: few local options

Schools nearby follow the Rajasthan Board in Hindi and English medium, with a few CBSE campuses. No IB or IGCSE campus was confirmed, so online matching is the realistic route.

    Nearby: Tonk and Ajmer

Tonk is the district town and Ajmer the divisional centre, both with wider private schooling. We name no international-curriculum school there without confirmation.

      Nearby: Jaipur

About a hundred kilometres away, the state capital holds Rajasthan's largest group of IB and Cambridge schools and is where most relocating families begin.

        Nearby: Delhi NCR and Kota

Delhi NCR has the bigger international-school belt, while Kota is famous for entrance coaching rather than IB or IGCSE.

Checking for an IB or Cambridge/Edexcel campus in Malpura, we found none that we could verify, so the town entry stays blank. Cities listed afterwards are conceivable places to relocate or board and carry no business link with us. IB Gram is separate from all schools and from the IB, Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel.

          How matching works

          2. 02

            Weigh our suggestion

We name a tutor with recent experience of the very course you described.

Both are set out in writing before you book anything.

          5. 05

            Start and review

Weekly lessons, a note after each, and a new tutor if the first one is not a match.

          Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Malpura: your questions answered

Are there IB and IGCSE tutors for Malpura?+

Yes. Your child studies at home in Malpura while a tutor teaches live from another Indian city. We begin with subject, level and board, then arrange a free trial. No tutor visits Tonk district homes; in-person tuition is limited to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

Can I get home tuition in Malpura?+

Private one-to-one tuition while your child stays at home is available through video. Having a tutor at the front door is not, in Malpura, Tonk or Jaipur; that is reserved for Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

Is there an IB school in Malpura?+

None that we could verify. Local schools follow the Rajasthan Board with some CBSE, and Jaipur, a hundred kilometres off, has more international choices. Before planning around any school, ask it directly which IB or Cambridge programmes it is authorised to run.

What does IB tuition cost for a Malpura student?+

You will not find a price list here. A quote depends on the subject and level, how well the tutor knows the specification and how many hours a week you want. Advanced sciences and Maths cost more than IGCSE Core, and the figure reaches you in writing after the trial.

How does the free trial work?+

The first lesson costs nothing and lasts as long as a normal one, with a tutor selected for the subject. Notice how plainly ideas are explained, how fast the lesson moves and how your child reacts. No obligation follows, and a different tutor is available if the fit is poor.

Can my child take IGCSE privately from Malpura?+

Often, because private candidates can register through an approved exam centre. Fees, available subjects and deadlines differ a lot, so enquire at the centre early; the nearest is likely to be in Jaipur. We train your child for the papers and practicals, and the family handles entry.

Will a tutor write my child's IA or Extended Essay?+

No. Writing an IA or Extended Essay for a student would break IB rules, so our tutors decline. They go through the criteria, test topic ideas and comment on a draft's structure. Everything submitted, TOK essay included, is the student's.

Which IB subjects can your tutors teach?+

Our tutors teach both IB Maths courses, the three sciences, Economics, Business Management, English, Computer Science, Psychology, ESS, Hindi and TOK at Higher and Standard Level. A subject not on that list is worth mentioning at the outset; we will check availability before the trial.

Is IGCSE easier than the Rajasthan Board?+

It is not easier, only built on different lines. The state board pays for exact recall of the set book; IGCSE pays for applying an idea to a case never seen before. Hindi-medium pupils usually start with English sentence-building and the verbs examiners use.

Can students from Newai, Deoli or Todaraisingh join?+

Of course, provided the home has a dependable connection. Tutors are chosen for subject knowledge rather than address, so children in Deoli, Newai or Todaraisingh see the same names as one in Malpura town.

          What time are lessons held?+

Everything is on Indian Standard Time, mostly early evenings and weekends. After agreeing a regular slot, you can shift it around exams, harvest, festivals or a trip by messaging the tutor.

What if heat or storms cut the power?+

Summers in Tonk district are punishing, so book a pre-breakfast or late-evening hour between April and June. Place a charged laptop and a phone hotspot beside the desk in case the supply flickers. When a lesson is lost completely, message the tutor immediately; most can be moved to another day that week.

Can a Rajasthan Board student still move to IB?+

Can a Class 8 or Class 10 child in Malpura still make the jump? Yes, though the easiest doors are Class 6, 9 and 11, where syllabuses start afresh. Expect the opening weeks to go on reading and writing in English and on learning what exam verbs ask for, with the tutor advising on Standard Level versus Core for year one.

Do you teach MYP and PYP students?+

We cover both. MYP students bring assignments marked against criteria and plans for the Personal Project; PYP children bring reading, number sense and questions of their own. Neither stage carries heavy exam pressure.

          Will parents get feedback?+

After each lesson come a few written lines on the topic, the sticking points and the next task, with a wider review every few weeks. Parents at research stations or in the Gulf read these far from Malpura.

Does IB Gram belong to any school or exam board?+

Not at all. IB Gram stands alone: no school, no awarding body and no coaching chain is behind it. Places mentioned on this page, such as Jaipur and Tonk, are there for orientation. Our tutors have taught or examined these courses and speak for themselves.

          How do we start?+

Our WhatsApp number is +91 7439 368 115 and our email is support@ibgram.com. Send your child's class, board, subject and recent marks. A suggested tutor and a trial hour come back before anything is said about fees, so you can look first and think afterwards.
