IB and IGCSE Tutors and Home Tuition Online in Kovvur

Kovvur faces Rajahmundry across the Godavari, yet a family here who wants IB or Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE teaching will find no local campus to join. IB and IGCSE tutors in Kovvur from IB Gram work online, live and one-to-one, which makes private tuition from home a laptop arrangement: no tutor crosses the river to your door, because in-person home tuition is offered only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

  • Each tutor is matched to the IB course and level or the IGCSE code your child is studying, wherever the tutor lives
  • For Kovvur, lessons are online and live; nobody visits, because in-person tuition at home exists only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
  • Try a lesson free, read a written note and change tutor if it is not right
  • No ties to the IB, Cambridge, Pearson or any school mentioned here

Kovvur on the Godavari: why IB and IGCSE help reaches the town by screen

Kovvur lies on the west bank of the Godavari, about 10 km from Rajahmundry, with 39,667 people at the 2011 census and paddy fields in every direction. The Godavari Bridge carries road and rail traffic across to Rajahmundry, a second arch bridge carries rail, and Rajahmundry airport is about 15 km away. Goshpada Kshetram, on the riverbank, hosts the Godavari Pushkaralu every 12 years.

Kovvur's schools are government, aided and private, and the town has ABN & PRR College of Sciences and several Sanskrit colleges. We could not confirm an IB or Cambridge school in Kovvur itself. Across the river, directory listings describe Laurel High Global School in Gadala as a Cambridge-linked day school for the younger classes. A family looking for IB and IGCSE tutors in Kovvur therefore relies on teachers from outside the town, and IB Gram supplies them by live video.

On home tuition, the straight answer is that tutors do not come to Kovvur. In-person home tuition is offered only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. A Kovvur student sits at a home desk with a laptop while the tutor, who could be in any Indian city, teaches live in Indian Standard Time.

Tutors teach and mark, but they do not author anything that is graded. Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, TOK essays and coursework remain the student's own, and every session ends with a short written note. IB Gram is independent of the IB, Cambridge, Pearson and all schools named here.

IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Kovvur school years

For Kovvur families the IB sits on the horizon: a hostel place in Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad, an online school, or a posting abroad. Each programme note below reflects that distance.

PYPNursery to Class 5, ages 3-12

IB Primary Years Programme

Pupils follow units built on big ideas and finish with an Exhibition in which they research an issue of their own choosing.

In Kovvur the question usually arrives with a planned move to Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam or abroad, when parents want English reading and number confidence in place early.

MYPClass 6-10, ages 11-16

IB Middle Years Programme

Students are graded criterion by criterion across eight subject groups and complete a Personal Project that they design and manage themselves.

A child from an Andhra Pradesh State Board or CBSE class needs practice answering against criteria in English, which is where MYP tutoring starts.

DPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Diploma Programme

The Diploma combines six subjects with Theory of Knowledge, a 4,000-word Extended Essay and a record of service and creativity.

It is reached from Kovvur through a boarding seat in Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad, or through an online school, with Mathematics and the sciences asked for first.

CPClass 11-12, ages 16-19

IB Career-related Programme

Career-related study sits beside two or three Diploma courses and a reflective project.

Rare in this region. We teach the Diploma courses within it and help organise the project.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Everything starts from the exact course and level. A Kovvur student from the Intermediate MPC or BiPC stream knows a great deal of content, and the difference lies in how IB and IGCSE papers ask for it, so the first lesson is a short diagnostic on that.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Intermediate MPC students know calculus well, so the work is proof, non-routine problems and explaining each step in words.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Modelling, statistics and technology; explorations can draw on paddy yields, river gauge readings or monsoon rainfall.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Thermal physics, waves and fields with disciplined units; a river flow, a barrage gate or a rooftop solar panel can anchor an investigation.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Organic pathways and equilibrium built step by step; water quality, soil pH or fertiliser tests suit a delta setting.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Answering exactly what the command term asks, plus data questions; paddy, coconut groves and the river give ecology real examples.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Diagrams, elasticity and trade, with delta agriculture, rice marketing and river tourism as local cases.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Case reading and an internal assessment on a reachable business, such as a rice trader, a coconut dealer or a small hotel.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Practice in analysing unseen texts and comparing works, for students moving from Telugu thinking to English writing.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Coding practice across algorithms, data structures and databases, and the written documentation a solution needs.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL / HL

River management, flood risk, irrigation and water use along the Godavari give live material for systems thinking.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Deltas, rivers and flood hazards offer deep cases, and the Godavari's own floods make a natural study.

IB Hindi B

HL / SL

Hindi is a third language in Andhra Pradesh schools, so formal Hindi writing and speaking often need extra time.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP Core

Conversation-based sessions that probe knowledge claims and set titles, then sharpen the exhibition.

Extended Essay (EE)

DP Core

A tutor helps pick a question that is small enough to finish and sets a pace; the writing is the student's alone.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

The board comes first. Cambridge and Edexcel differ in codes, tiers and paper shapes, and the series entered fixes the preparation time. A Kovvur family should ask the school which tier it plans for each subject before choosing a tutor.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

At Extended level, steady practice with no calculator and clear setting-out keeps method marks safe.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 9-10

Calculus and trigonometry arrive early, making the jump to IB Maths AA or A Level gentler.

Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A 4MA1

Foundation / Higher

Edexcel's phrasing and mark schemes are its own, so past Edexcel papers do the teaching.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Forces, circuits and waves, then the practical or alternative paper taken seriously from the start.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, the reactivity series and organic families, revisited through brief timed questions.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Genetics, transport and ecology, with model answers built on mark-scheme wording.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Clear diagrams, then concise evaluation, using delta farming and trade examples.

IGCSE Business Studies 0450

Grade 9-10

Reading a business case, then cash flow and a few key ratios.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Algorithms in pseudocode and Python, with trace tables and a steady diet of theory questions.

IGCSE English First Language 0500

Grade 9-10

Timed summary and directed-writing tasks, marked against the published bands.

IGCSE Hindi as a Second Language 0549

Grade 9-10

Hindi as a second language, a fit where Telugu is the home language and Hindi a school subject.

IGCSE Geography 0460

Grade 9-10

River and delta case studies with map skills.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Kovvur school timetables

Every lesson is live video between one tutor and one student; what differs is how the weeks are arranged. Three arrangements suit most Kovvur families.

Weekly evening lessons

One or two sessions a week on fixed evenings, placed after school or Intermediate classes and any coaching the child already attends.

  • One tutor, one plan
  • Short written note each time
  • Free first lesson

Holiday and exam-season blocks

Concentrated lessons in the Sankranti and Dasara breaks, or in the weeks before an IB, Cambridge or Edexcel series.

  • Timed papers with marked feedback
  • Weak topics ranked by marks at stake
  • Online only, with no tutor visiting Kovvur

Transition support

A structured run of lessons ahead of a hostel place in Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad, or an online international school, for a student arriving from the state syllabus or CBSE.

  • A diagnostic lesson first
  • English command words and practical skills
  • A written plan before any commitment

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Kovvur

01

Is there an IB or Cambridge school in Kovvur, and what about Rajahmundry across the river?

We could not confirm an IB or Cambridge school in Kovvur. The nearest we can name is across the Godavari: directory listings describe Laurel High Global School in Gadala, Rajahmundry, as a Cambridge-linked day school for the younger classes, and we found no IB World School in either town. Serious IB Diploma or upper-secondary IGCSE teaching lies much further away, on the coast or in Hyderabad.

Who asks, then? Families in rice trading, transport and farming who think a child may study or work abroad; teachers, lecturers and railway or bank staff who know the IB from their own networks; and households with relatives in the United States, Canada, Australia or the Gulf, which is common across the Telugu states. Some already have a child boarding in Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad.

Distance decides the rest. Rajahmundry is close enough for a daily run across the bridge, but it offers little at IB or upper IGCSE level; Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad are far enough to mean boarding or relocation, a choice IB Gram leaves to families. What we do is teach the syllabus, wherever the student ends up.

The table lists what we could confirm. Names come from directories and each school's own description, so check any school directly; programmes change.

02

How much does IB and IGCSE tuition cost in Kovvur?

  • Tutor experience at the exact level
  • Lessons per week and their length
  • Time left before the exam series
  • Extras such as TOK planning or an Extended Essay schedule

The fee is set per family and sent in writing before you book, because it depends on the tutor's experience with your exact course, the level taught, the weekly hours and how close the exam is. A public price list would hide the gap between early MYP mathematics and IB Higher Level Chemistry, so we do not publish one. The first lesson is free.

Kovvur parents are used to Intermediate coaching and group tuition, where one fee is split across a batch. A one-to-one specialist sells undivided attention and scarce syllabus knowledge, which changes the comparison: weigh it against a lost year, not against a batch fee. Even an excellent state-syllabus teacher may never have seen how IB work is scored.

Online delivery takes out costs that are easy to overlook: crossing the bridge to Rajahmundry for a class, fuel and the evening spent travelling. For a Class 11 student with practicals and Intermediate homework, that saved hour is often worth more than a small difference in hourly rates.

Ask for the rate and the session length in writing from any provider, and compare on experience with your syllabus.

03

AP State Board, Intermediate, CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE: how do they differ for a Kovvur student?

Put simply, the AP State Board, its Intermediate stage and CBSE pay for precise recall of a fixed syllabus, and ICSE widens the range. The IB and IGCSE pay more for using ideas on unfamiliar problems and justifying answers in English. Only the IB asks for long independent projects; the IGCSE stays with final papers plus practical components.

After Class 10, Andhra Pradesh students enter the two-year Intermediate course under the Board of Intermediate Education, usually as MPC or BiPC and often bundled with JEE or NEET coaching. The Diploma takes a different shape: six subjects from six groups plus the core. Intermediate students trained for speed often find it wider than expected, with marks that follow criteria.

The step up in English catches many students. A Kovvur child who thinks in Telugu and studied in Telugu through Class 10 must now read, argue and write at length in English, in every subject, against the clock. We spend the first lessons on this: how an Economics paragraph is built, how a Chemistry method is phrased, how a commentary is structured.

Entry to an international course is easiest at Class 6, Class 9 or Class 11. For a move to Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad, start bridging about two terms ahead and ask the new school what it expects on day one.

Should a Kovvur family choose online tuition, a coaching centre or a private tutor?

Choosing for IB and IGCSE work comes down to who has taught the exact syllabus, and that usually points to an online specialist. Kovvur and Rajahmundry offer plenty of tuition and Intermediate coaching aimed at the state syllabus, NEET and EAPCET, yet we found no IB or IGCSE batch. Age, subject and exam date then decide the details.

Group coaching brings structure and classmates, although its questions are aimed at entrance exams. A nearby tutor offers undivided attention but has rarely worked with IB mark schemes. An online specialist trades the drop-in convenience for exact syllabus experience, teaching on a shared board where graphs and derivations appear as they are written.

No format is perfect. A flooded road does not stop an online lesson, but a power cut or a cyclone-week outage can, so each family should line up a hotspot, an inverter or a spare evening. Younger pupils learn better in shorter sittings, and solo revision, useful as exams near, gives nobody to mark an extended answer.

Many students combine routes: school or Intermediate by day, an IB Gram lesson twice a week and a past paper at the weekend.

How do floods, heat, Sankranti and the Pushkaralu shape the study year in Kovvur?

The year here is shaped by the April to June heat, the July and August Godavari floods, the October and November cyclone season and the festival breaks around Dasara and Sankranti. IB and IGCSE lessons work best when revision blocks follow the March board exams and when each family keeps a fallback for power and connectivity.

Rajahmundry's summers run roughly from 34 to 48 degrees between April and June, so afternoons are poor for study and early mornings or evenings work better. When the Godavari rises in July and August, flood warnings and road closures along the bank can follow, and the cyclone season can bring heavy rain and power cuts in October and November.

Sankranti in January is a long school break across Andhra Pradesh, and Dasara brings another in autumn. The next Godavari Pushkaralu is due in 2027; Goshpada Kshetram at Kovvur is one of the ghats, so crowds and restrictions are likely around the dates, and families should check official announcements before planning exam-season study.

For a May IB session, content teaching usually ends before Sankranti, past papers run from January to March and the last weeks go to timing. IGCSE candidates follow the same shape against their own series. A student also sitting the March SSC or Intermediate papers needs a lighter plan that month.

University and career pathways from Kovvur with an IB or IGCSE record

  • AIU equivalence certificates, requested by some institutions
  • CUET-UG for central universities and many private ones
  • AP EAPCET and NEET-UG eligibility, shaped by Class 11 subjects
  • University-specific grade and subject rules for study abroad

Indian universities handle the IB Diploma through the Association of Indian Universities equivalence process where it is required, and many private universities accept the results directly. CUET-UG opens central-university seats on the standard registration. Andhra Pradesh's own universities set their own rules for students from other boards, so check each notice before choosing subjects.

Near home, Adikavi Nannaya University and the Government Arts College are at Rajahmundry, and Dr YSR Horticultural University is at Tadepalligudem. For engineering, AP EAPCET covers state seats, JEE Main leads to the national institutes, and for medicine NEET-UG needs Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English, so Class 11 subject choice matters.

Telugu families often have relatives in the US, Canada, Australia or the Gulf, so studying abroad is a live option. Universities there know the Diploma, and IGCSE followed by A Level, but each publishes its own grade and subject conditions for a given course. Read the conditions for your target courses first, then pick subjects.

Tutors strengthen the subjects these routes depend on. They do not handle admission paperwork, and they do not advise on eligibility rules that change every year.

07

IB Maths and the sciences from Kovvur: what is the real workload?

Two maths routes exist: Analysis and Approaches for students drawn to algebra, calculus and proof, and Applications and Interpretation for those who prefer data, modelling and software. Each includes a personal exploration marked at 20 per cent, and Higher Level takes far longer to prepare. In the sciences, marks follow precise units, careful reading of command terms and an investigation that the lab can actually run.

An Intermediate MPC student brings strong calculus and algebra, so gaps are usually unfamiliar contexts, proof and writing reasoning out in words. A term of timed Paper 2 practice with a graphing calculator closes most of them. For Physics, uncertainty and the data booklet usually need more attention than theory.

In Chemistry and Biology the investigation is the unknown. A student raised on record-book practicals may never have framed a research question, controlled variables or evaluated a method. Water, soil or paddy themes near home offer workable questions, as long as the student runs the experiment and writes it up.

A single trial session with a past paper shows whether Higher Level is sensible, long before a term is lost to the wrong choice. Once the course is fixed, a tutor can talk through the scope of an assessed piece and the marking criteria, but the drafting is never theirs.

08

IGCSE Core or Extended: which tier and subjects suit a Kovvur student?

Extended is the tier that keeps doors open to IB Higher Level Mathematics and A Level sciences; Cambridge Core tops out at grade C. Edexcel handles the same issue with Foundation and Higher papers in mathematics. One diagnostic lesson tells you which tier is within reach, and the plan runs back from there.

Pick subjects by the next step. A Diploma route needs mathematics, at least one science, English and a language; a return to an Intermediate course needs Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in good shape. Ask the receiving institution which combinations it accepts before dropping anything.

Practicals trip up many candidates. A Cambridge science paper can be a hands-on test or a written alternative, and the written alternative asks you to recall apparatus, name sources of error and propose improvements without the bench in front of you. English First Language adds summary and directed-writing tasks in formats that school essays seldom use.

Language options are worth a conversation. A Telugu-speaking student has two Cambridge second-language routes, English and Hindi, and the school's plan and the child's comfort choose between them. Try a timed past question, mark it against the scheme, and see where the marks drop.

Where we tutor

Kovvur, its villages and the Rajahmundry side

With every lesson online, these entries are background and not routes: what each place is known for, and how the river, the roads and the seasons tend to shape a family's evening.

Kovvur town centre

Home to the APSRTC bus station, the railway station and ABN & PRR College of Sciences; a central base for families who want lessons at fixed evening hours.

Goshpada Kshetram

The riverbank site of the Godavari Pushkaralu, next due in 2027; expect crowds and road restrictions then, and plan lessons online.

Godavari bridge approach

The Kovvur end of the road and rail bridge to Rajahmundry; traffic here can slow at peak hours, which an online lesson avoids.

Chagallu

One of the three mandals of the Kovvur constituency; its students follow the same state exam calendar and the same Godavari flood season.

Tallapudi

The third mandal of the constituency; in farming households, lesson times are best fixed around harvest weeks.

Vijjeswaram

A village south of the town named in local lore for its temple; its students can take the same online slots as a household in town.

Kumaradevam

A village to the north with an old temple; evening power supply and a backup connection matter more than the address.

Brahmanagudem

One of the old settlements recorded in the Kovvur tradition, among paddy fields where a home lesson saves a trip on field roads.

Rajahmundry and Gadala

Across the river, with the airport 15 km from Kovvur and a Cambridge-linked day school on Airport Road in Gadala.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Kovvur

Kovvur and its mandals

Schools in town are government, aided and private, following the state syllabus or CBSE. We could not confirm an IB, Cambridge or Edexcel school in Kovvur.

    Nearby: Rajahmundry

About 10 km across the Godavari, a day school in Gadala is listed with Cambridge-linked teaching for the younger classes. We could not confirm an IB Diploma or upper-secondary IGCSE there.

    • Laurel High Global School

    Nearby: Visakhapatnam

Roughly 200 km up the coast, the region's main cluster of IB and Cambridge campuses, reached by a long road or rail journey. It suits a boarding or relocation decision, not a commute.

    • Oakridge International School, Visakhapatnam
    • Oak Valley International School, Gajuwaka
    • Silver Oaks International School, Rushikonda

    Nearby: Hyderabad

More than 400 km away, with the widest range of IB and IGCSE schools in the Telugu states; some Godavari families place a child here or keep a relative nearby.

    • CHIREC International School
    • International School of Hyderabad
    • Sreenidhi International School

Kovvur has no school we could confirm as teaching the IB or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE, so the local list is empty. Laurel High Global School (Gadala), the Visakhapatnam campuses and the Hyderabad campuses are regional context drawn from directories and the schools' own pages, and their programmes may change. IB Gram is an independent tutoring service with no partnership with any school and no tie to the IB, Cambridge or Pearson; check a school's authorisation with the awarding body before applying.

    How matching works

From first enquiry to a tutor who fits

    1. 01

      Describe the student

Tell us the board or programme, subject and level, recent marks and the evenings that are free in your house.

    2. 02

      See who we suggest

We put forward one tutor with real experience of that syllabus and explain how they teach.

    3. 03

      Sit the trial

Your child has a live lesson on video with the tutor, at no charge, and both sides judge the fit.

    4. 04

      Review the feedback

The tutor sends a short written note on strengths, gaps and a plan, and the rate is confirmed in writing.

    5. 05

      Decide what next

Carry on weekly, book holiday blocks, pause, or ask for a different tutor.

    Why families choose us

What Kovvur parents tell us matters most

    Right tutor, not nearest tutor

Matching is by IB course or IGCSE code, not by distance from Kovvur.

    Clear about online delivery

Kovvur lessons are online only; visits at home belong to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

    No bridge crossing

A lesson replaces the trip to Rajahmundry and leaves the evening for homework.

    Feedback in writing

A short note after each lesson keeps parents informed.

    Honest limits

Tutors never write IAs, essays or graded coursework.

    Try first

A free trial, a tutor change if needed and the rate in writing.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Kovvur: your questions answered

Can I find IB or IGCSE tutors in Kovvur?+

Yes, online. No local IB or IGCSE specialist was one we could stand behind, so IB and IGCSE tutors in Kovvur work the way our whole network does: teaching over live video from other parts of India, picked for the child's course, level and exam series. A laptop and a reliable connection are all a Kovvur home needs.

Will a tutor come to my house in Kovvur?+

No tutor will turn up at a Kovvur door: in-person home tuition is run only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. What a Kovvur household gets is a private, live lesson over video at the student's own desk, taught by someone chosen for the syllabus, wherever they live.

Is there an IB or Cambridge school in Kovvur or Rajahmundry?+

Not in Kovvur that we could verify. In Rajahmundry, directory listings show Laurel High Global School in Gadala as a Cambridge-linked day school for the younger classes, and we found no IB World School. Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad have the nearest full campuses. Confirm any school's authorisation with the IB or Cambridge first.

How much does IB or IGCSE tuition cost in Kovvur?+

It depends on the tutor's experience, the level and the lessons per week, so there is no fixed list. You receive the rate in writing before you book, and the first lesson is free. Judge a tutor by knowledge of your exact syllabus, because a cheap hour with the wrong syllabus is wasted money.

Can a student from the AP State Board move to IGCSE or the IB?+

Yes, and Class 6, Class 9 and Class 11 are the easiest entry points. Most students need help with English writing inside each subject, application-style questions and practical write-ups. A diagnostic lesson pinpoints the gaps, and a block of lessons closes them before term. The receiving school decides admission.

Do I need a Cambridge or an Edexcel tutor?+

Ask your school which board it enters; we teach both. Cambridge and Edexcel differ in syllabus codes, paper layouts and command words. Cambridge sittings in India fall in February to March, May to June and October to November; Edexcel's fall in January, May to June and October to November.

Are IAs and Extended Essays written by the tutor?+

Not at all. A tutor can help choose a question, plan the research, explain the rubric and comment on drafts, but every graded word has to be the student's. Schools and examiners regard outside authorship of an IA, an Extended Essay, a TOK essay or coursework as academic malpractice, so our tutors never go near it.

How can we try a lesson for free?+

Write on WhatsApp (+91 7439 368 115) or by email (support@ibgram.com). Mention the course or board, the level, how recent marks look and which evenings are free. You will hear back with one suggested tutor and a trial slot, and the written note after the trial is yours to read before deciding.

What if floods, cyclone rain or power cuts interrupt a lesson?+

Outages are possible during the July and August floods and the October and November cyclone season. Keep a phone hotspot and, if you can, an inverter for the router. A lesson lost to an outage is rescheduled by prior agreement, and in the wettest weeks we suggest holding a spare evening.

Can Kovvur students take IGCSE papers as private candidates?+

Often, through a registered exam centre; the nearest are likely in larger cities such as Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad. The IB Diploma normally requires an authorised IB school. Check deadlines and fees early, and we build the study plan around the confirmed dates.

How do IB or IGCSE results count for AP EAPCET and NEET?+

Usually they can, but eligibility notices are rewritten every year, so read the current ones. For NEET-UG the subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English; EAPCET publishes its own conditions for candidates from other boards, and an AIU equivalence certificate is sometimes demanded. Tutors build subject strength and leave paperwork to you.

Does IB Gram work with Laurel High Global School?+

No. IB Gram has no partnership with Laurel High Global School, any other Rajahmundry or Kovvur school, or any exam board. The school is named only as regional context from directory listings. A student at any school can take our lessons if the school allows, and we follow that school's calendar.

How often should a student have lessons?+

A weekly rhythm of one or two lessons suits most terms, rising to three or four as papers approach. Holidays can take daily blocks. We settle the pattern after the trial and adjust it from the tutor's notes and the exam calendar.

Can lessons fit around Intermediate classes and coaching?+

Usually, with care. Evening and weekend slots suit students who already have a full school or Intermediate day. We avoid stacking too many hours on one child, and we suggest lighter weeks near the March board exams, so the IB or IGCSE work supports the rest and does not compete with it.

My child thinks in Telugu. Will English be a problem?+

It can be managed. Lessons run in English since that is the language of the papers, and the tutor introduces subject vocabulary and sentence patterns from the start. Tell us early, and the first diagnostic checks reading and writing as well as content, so any language support is written into the plan.

Is IB Gram connected to any school, board or exam body?+

No. We are an independent tutoring service. There is no partnership or endorsement between IB Gram and the IB, Cambridge, Pearson or any school named on this page; the names are only there to show what exists around Kovvur. Confirm every school's status with its awarding body before enrolling a child.
