IB and IGCSE Tutors and Private Tuition in Khowai

Khowai has government offices, a college and a Navodaya school, but nothing that teaches an IB or Cambridge syllabus, and that is why families ask us about private tuition at home. IB Gram's answer is a specialist who teaches your child one to one over video, using IST hours, with the first lesson free. We do not send anyone to a Khowai house; house calls exist only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

  • The tutor is chosen for your child's syllabus code and tier, not for a postcode
  • Lessons are on screen only, so the Khowai River floods and the monsoon roads do not cancel them
  • A complete trial lesson is given free before any fee is mentioned
  • Every session ends with a short note for parents

IB & IGCSE in Khowai

What studying for the IB or IGCSE looks like from Khowai

Khowai is the administrative seat of its district, a town on the river that gives it its name, with a municipal council, courts, treasury and the usual crowd of officers and clerks. Dasaratha Deb Memorial College teaches degree students, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya draws bright children from across the district. Pineapple and rubber hold the wider economy together. What the town lacks is any classroom that teaches the IB or a Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE syllabus.

That absence defines who contacts us. They are officers whose transfers could take them to another state, parents who want a child to hold a qualification valued abroad, and families whose son or daughter has a boarding place in Guwahati or Kolkata. The local Navodaya and board-school culture is rigorous, which actually helps, but nobody locally can say what an IB examiner wants in a Physics investigation.

IB and IGCSE tutors in Khowai are therefore found elsewhere and met on a screen. We link your child with a teacher who has handled the same course before, and the two work alone, live, on Indian time. IB Gram has no tie to the IB, Cambridge, Pearson or any school. Our teachers coach and mark; they never write assessed work such as an Internal Assessment or Extended Essay.

Please read the next point as a fact about the service, not an apology. No tutor comes to a house in Khowai, and in-person teaching is reserved for Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. A Khowai child still gets lessons at home, delivered through a laptop on the study table.

At a glance

  • IB PYP, MYP, DP and CP, each with suitable tutors
  • Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE at every tier
  • Live one-to-one video lessons on IST
  • A free trial, with fees written down before you commit
  • No house calls in Khowai; those are kept to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR
IB programmes

Every IB programme stage, mapped to Khowai school years

The four IB programmes ask for different things from a tutor. Since Tripura has no school offering any of them, Khowai families reach each programme through a relocation or a boarding offer. Below, what each stage involves and how it appears from a district town in the north-west of the state.

PYPAges 3 to 12, up to Class 5

IB Primary Years Programme

Learning is grouped into transdisciplinary themes that run for weeks, mixing language, number and science around one question. A final-year Exhibition lets pupils investigate something they chose.

Khowai children preparing for a PYP school elsewhere mostly need confidence speaking and writing English at length, and practice at framing a question before they answer it.

MYPAges 11 to 16, Classes 6 to 10

IB Middle Years Programme

Teachers grade each subject on four published strands, so a pupil earns marks by showing method and reasoning, not just a result. The final year includes a self-directed Personal Project.

Pupils shifting from TBSE textbooks usually find the written reasoning in Sciences the steepest climb, and we normally begin with lab-report style explanations.

DPAges 16 to 19, Classes 11 and 12

IB Diploma Programme

Six courses, three at Higher Level, studied with Theory of Knowledge, a long research essay and creativity and service work. Most courses include a moderated school-based task.

A Diploma candidate with a Khowai address is registered through a school or centre outside Tripura, so we plan for that candidate's session, not an imagined local timetable.

CPAges 16 to 19, Classes 11 and 12

IB Career-related Programme

A narrow route that sets a few Diploma courses beside job-related study and a reflective project; few Indian schools offer it.

We receive next to no Career-related enquiries from Khowai. If one comes, tutoring concentrates on whichever Diploma courses sit inside the student's package.

Subject coverage

IB subjects we tutor

Telling us a child does the IB is not enough. Which course, which level, which sitting? Those three answers decide the match, and only after that do we look for a free evening hour.

IB Maths Analysis & Approaches

HL / SL

Calculus, algebra and proof for future engineers and scientists. HL Paper 3 sets problems nobody has rehearsed, so calm method counts for more than speed.

IB Maths Applications & Interpretation

HL / SL

Statistical tests, modelling and calculator technique. Pupils from textbook-style boards learn to read a messy context before choosing a tool.

IB Physics

HL / SL

Mechanics, waves, fields and modern physics, with a data booklet used confidently and an investigation the student designs and can defend.

IB Chemistry

HL / SL

Atomic structure to organic synthesis. Frequent short calculation sets keep quantitative skills sharp in the long gaps between topics.

IB Biology

HL / SL

Cells, genetics, ecology and physiology, where the exact verb in a question dictates the shape of the best answer.

IB Economics

HL / SL

Diagram drills and evaluation, with Tripura's rubber, pineapple and border-trade economy supplying real material for the commentary.

IB Business Management

HL / SL

Applying concepts to a stated case. The internal assessment works best when built on a real enterprise with real numbers.

IB English A Language & Literature

HL / SL

Unprepared analysis, comparative essays and an oral. Students raised on Bengali-medium schooling gain from timed practice with fresh passages.

IB Computer Science

HL / SL

Algorithms, networks and a documented software solution, where clear explanations earn as much as working code.

IB Psychology

HL / SL

Named studies recalled accurately and organised into structured responses, plus a simple experiment for the internal assessment.

IB Environmental Systems & Societies

SL

Systems thinking, with river, forest and hill-farming examples from Tripura ready to hand for fieldwork ideas.

IB Geography

HL / SL

Case studies with depth and a fieldwork investigation; river flooding along the Khowai gives a concrete hazard to examine.

IB Bengali B

HL / SL

Comprehension, text types and conversation for learners using Bengali or Kokborok at home who study it as an acquired language.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

DP Core

Conversational coaching on titles and the exhibition, pushing students to defend a position and then attack it.

IGCSE coverage

IGCSE subjects we tutor

The two IGCSE boards use similar titles for different papers. Board, code and tier get confirmed first, and then we count backwards from the sitting the candidate has entered.

IGCSE Mathematics 0580

Core / Extended

Extended candidates need accuracy on the non-calculator paper and complete working; marks vanish fastest on misread instructions.

IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606

Grade 10

Calculus, logarithms and vectors arrive early, which makes the course a fine launchpad for Maths AA at HL.

Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A 4MA1

Foundation / Higher

Shared topics, though Pearson's wording and paper layout reward work on its own past papers.

IGCSE Physics 0625

Core / Extended

Quick equation handling, electricity and waves, and the alternative-to-practical paper that is best rehearsed from the first term.

IGCSE Chemistry 0620

Core / Extended

Mole calculations, reactivity and organic basics, with data-handling questions woven into every unit.

IGCSE Biology 0610

Core / Extended

Inheritance, plant transport and ecosystems, with longer answers shaped around what mark schemes credit.

IGCSE Economics 0455

Grade 9-10

Precise diagrams before anything else, then balanced judgement in extended answers.

IGCSE Computer Science 0478

Grade 9-10

Pseudocode, logic gates and Python, practised alongside the theory rather than after it.

IGCSE English First Language 0500

Grade 9-10

Writing to persuade or describe, summarising, and weekly timed reading of passages not seen before.

IGCSE Bengali as a Second Language

Grade 9-10

Reading, writing and speaking for pupils whose home language may be Kokborok or Bengali and who need a structured course.

How sessions run

Tutoring formats built around Khowai school timetables

Each option below is a live video lesson, one teacher and one pupil, on Indian time. They differ in rhythm, not in medium. None involves a visit to a Khowai home, because in-person teaching is available only in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR.

A standing weekly hour

A regular slot for each subject, with past papers and a whiteboard open on both screens. This is where most Khowai families start.

  • One teacher held steady across the term
  • Fits DP, MYP and both IGCSE boards
  • Practice questions marked against live criteria
  • A brief summary sent after each hour

A term plan with milestones

The whole syllabus is mapped across the term, and a milestone review every few weeks changes the plan when a unit refuses to stick.

  • Units sequenced to the registered sitting
  • Written reviews at each milestone
  • Kind to younger pupils who need pacing
  • Extra hours can be added before school tests

A short revision sprint

A compact burst of lessons with timed papers and rapid marking, booked two or three weeks before the first exam.

  • Scripts marked within a day or two
  • Errors analysed and rebuilt, not just repeated
  • Planned around Kharchi Puja and Durga Puja
  • Taught online from the family study

What IB and IGCSE study actually looks like in Khowai

01

Does Khowai have IB or IGCSE schools, and who studies these courses?

  • Tripura has no confirmed IB or IGCSE school
  • Boarding or relocation prompts most enquiries
  • Private candidates depend on specialist coaching
  • We teach online and register nobody

No. Searching the IB and Cambridge directories turned up nothing for Khowai, or for the rest of Tripura, which is why no local school is named here. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and the other district schools teach CBSE or the state board, and private schools in Agartala run CBSE or ICSE.

That leaves a small but real group of families. Government officers expecting a posting beyond Tripura, parents with relatives overseas, and households whose child has been offered a place at a school in Guwahati or Kolkata. For all of them the real question is how to prepare, because no teacher in the district has ever worked with these syllabuses.

Many such students sit as private candidates, entered by a school or centre elsewhere, and prepare mostly at home. That is workable but demanding, since a question about Extended Essay pacing or an IGCSE practical paper has no local person to answer it.

Our role is to be that expert on screen. We do not run a school and do not register candidates. We pair the child with someone who has taught the course before; every schooling choice stays with the family.

02

How do TBSE and CBSE differ from the IB and IGCSE for a Khowai student?

  • Boards reward presentation of content; IB and IGCSE reward application
  • Internal assessment is an unfamiliar skill
  • Tier choice at Grade 9 matters later
  • Board study stays strong for entrance exams

TBSE and CBSE test whether a student has absorbed a prescribed set of chapters and can present them clearly. The IB and IGCSE assume that groundwork and then pose a harder question: can you use the idea in a setting the textbook never showed? A Cambridge Physics paper may describe an unfamiliar device and expect the right law to be chosen without a hint.

Marking differs as well. IB internal assessments are graded against published descriptors, and some IGCSE subjects include practical or coursework components. A student from a state-board background may never have planned an experiment, written it up and revised the write-up, so those habits must be taught on purpose.

Level of content varies too. IB Higher Level science and maths pass beyond Class 12 board material in places. IGCSE Core is comparable to the board, Extended goes further, so a Grade 9 tier decision shapes how smooth the Diploma later feels.

None of this makes the home boards inferior. A Khowai student heading for JEE, NEET or a state service exam may do best staying put. The IB and IGCSE reward families with a precise destination, such as an overseas degree.

03

What should a Khowai family expect to pay for IB or IGCSE tuition?

  • Fee follows subject, level and session length
  • Distance adds nothing to the cost
  • Rates are written down before you commit
  • Stop or pause at your own pace

A fixed price list would mislead, because several things move the fee together: the programme, the subject, the level, session length, and the supply of tutors for that course. Higher Level Diploma sciences sit above MYP English or IGCSE Core Maths. You get the figure in writing before booking.

Where the tutor lives does not alter the bill. Someone teaching from Bengaluru or Delhi quotes the same for a Khowai student as for a local one would, since a video lesson has no petrol, no road time and no waiting at a gate.

Judge value by what an hour does for a student. A teacher who knows the typical slips in a command term can clear in one lesson what might sit unnoticed for a month. Ask what each session will cover and how progress will be reported, which tells you more than the hourly rate.

No contract binds you. Lessons can stop for Durga Puja, a long exam break or a bout of bad weather, and another tutor is available if the first lesson feels wrong. The trial lesson is there so no one pays for a poor match.

04

Online tutoring against Agartala coaching, local home teachers and self-study

  • Coaching in the region targets boards and entrance tests
  • Local teachers rarely know these mark schemes
  • Self-study lacks outside feedback on essays
  • Online tutors are matched on exact course

Coaching in Khowai and in Agartala is arranged around TBSE and CBSE board years, with NEET and JEE batches layered on top. That is excellent for those goals. It is not designed for IB Chemistry HL or IGCSE Additional Mathematics, so a student placed in such a batch must translate the teaching alone.

Home teachers have a long history in the district, and many are dedicated. Most are, naturally, trained to the syllabus around them. A teacher unfamiliar with IB command terms or IGCSE mark schemes may explain content well yet misjudge what actually earns credit.

Self-study with past papers is a real option for IGCSE Mathematics and parts of the sciences. It weakens wherever feedback matters most: assessed investigations, essays, extended responses and orals, where a student cannot easily spot their own gaps.

Online one-to-one teaching draws on tutors across India, so a Khowai student can be taught by someone who has handled the specific course repeatedly. The conditions are steady connectivity and a plan for the heavy rain months.

05

How do the rains, floods and Tripura festivals shape the study year?

  • Floods and storms can interrupt power and mobile data
  • Festival weeks are best built into the plan
  • Diploma in May; IGCSE across summer, autumn and sometimes winter
  • Start Diploma preparation early in Class 11

Rain arrives early and stays late in Tripura, with heavy falls from about April to October. The Khowai River can rise enough to cut low roads, and storms sometimes take out power or mobile towers. We recommend a fixed weekly slot, a backup hotspot and a charged laptop so a single outage does not wipe out a lesson.

Festivals shape the calendar strongly. Kharchi Puja in July draws the whole state, Durga Puja in autumn is the great holiday, Garia Puja in April belongs to the tribal communities, and Hojagiri, the Reang community's festival, falls in the cooler months. Lesson plans should expect an interrupted week around each.

Exam boards have their own rhythm. On the exam side, May is the Diploma month, with results in July, while November exists for a few. Cambridge IGCSE sits in summer and again in autumn, and Edexcel has a winter series as well. The entering school or centre will say which one your child has.

A Diploma student therefore moves from foundations in Class 11, through internal assessment deadlines in Class 12, to predicted grades and mocks before the May papers. Starting in April or May of Class 11 leaves ample room; starting in January of Class 12 leaves very little.

06

Where do Khowai students go after the IB or IGCSE?

  • Tripura University, NIT Agartala and ICFAI are the main in-state options
  • CUET-UG and AIU equivalence open national routes
  • Overseas universities read both qualifications
  • Tutoring covers subjects, not applications

Inside Tripura, students can look at Tripura University, NIT Agartala, ICFAI University Tripura and Agartala Government Medical College. The state is small, so ambitious students usually look beyond it, to Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi or overseas, once their qualification is secure.

Central university entry usually runs through CUET-UG, and the Association of Indian Universities issues the equivalence papers for a Diploma, or for IGCSE plus a recognised Class 12 route. Whether JEE or NEET is open depends on subjects and levels, which is worth asking the exam body about early.

Studying overseas is where these qualifications feel most at home. Admissions staff in Britain, Canada, Australia and the USA know them well, and offers often state a points total with Higher Level minimums. Predicted grades submitted in autumn of the last year matter more than most parents expect.

We stay on the academic side: subject depth, exam technique, sharper predicted grades. Applications, visas and funding belong with your school or an admissions counsellor, and we say so plainly.

07

IB Maths and the sciences for a Khowai student

  • AA suits proof lovers, AI suits data and modelling
  • Physics and Chemistry HL each need a defensible lab investigation
  • Biology scores follow the command term
  • Tripura's landscapes supply real fieldwork ideas

Analysis and Approaches suits students aiming at engineering, physical science or economics, and its HL Paper 3 sets problems that reward persistence. Applications and Interpretation is built around data and models, and its exploration is where a late start costs the most.

Physics HL asks for fluent use of the data booklet and tight pacing across the first two papers. Students from state boards often hold the formulas but have rarely explained a result in words, which the mark scheme demands. The investigation needs a method the student can defend.

Chemistry HL travels from bonding to energetics and organic routes, while Biology lives or dies on the verb in the question. Each needs timed work against the genuine rubric, with comments after every attempt.

Without any IB classroom nearby, the fastest progress comes from a specialist matched on level and current syllabus, working live through papers. Environmental Systems and Geography students can lean on Tripura's rivers, forests and plantations for authentic case material.

08

Core or Extended: which IGCSE tier suits a Khowai student?

  • Extended suits future Higher Level students
  • Additional Mathematics 0606 feeds Maths AA HL
  • Drill on the right board's papers
  • The entering centre decides the subjects

Core and Extended cap the available grades differently, so the Grade 9 decision shapes both the IGCSE result and the later Diploma. Extended is the usual choice for any student who may take Maths AA or Higher Level sciences.

Taking Extended 0580 alongside Additional Mathematics 0606, where the centre allows, gives HL Maths its firmest foundation, and the Extended sciences perform that service for DP Physics and Chemistry.

Pearson candidates should drill on Pearson papers, because the wording and order of questions departs from the Cambridge style even though the mathematics is common.

Subject lists finally depend on the registering school or centre, so we teach what the student has actually entered rather than an ideal set on paper.

09

How are Khowai families paired with an IB Gram tutor?

  • State the board, code, level and sitting
  • Someone who has taught that course is suggested
  • The trial lesson costs nothing
  • Parents get a note each time

Everything begins with a brief chat covering board, code, level, sitting and where the child is stuck. After that we suggest a tutor who has recently taught the course and set up a free trial. A mismatch is fixed with a fresh pairing, free of charge.

Following every lesson, a short note lists the ground covered and what comes next. Parents can read it without joining the call, and the pile of notes becomes a record if a school ever asks about progress.

You see the rate in writing before booking anything, and every session runs on IST. Contact support@ibgram.com or message +91 7439 368 115 on WhatsApp for a tutor suggestion and time options.

Teaching and marking are the whole remit. Anything assessed, from Internal Assessments to Extended Essays and TOK essays, is written by the student alone, so the result is truly theirs.

Where we tutor

Khowai district places our online tutors reach

Teaching happens on screen, so this list gives context rather than distances: the sort of school and household found in each place, and when an evening lesson tends to fit between work, farming and the school day.

Khowai town

The district headquarters on the river, with officers, traders and teachers; most families use TBSE or CBSE schools, and evenings after office hours suit lessons.

Teliamura

A larger town of the district on the road toward Agartala, with a mix of government employees and business families.

Kalyanpur

A town in the district's north, with farming and trading households and a growing number of students preparing for state and national exams.

Mungiakami

A smaller settlement with families who depend on agriculture and plantations; steady mobile data is the main practical question.

Tulashikhar

A rural-urban fringe area where children often walk or cycle to school, leaving late afternoon free for study.

Asharambari

A market and farming area in the district, with households that value education but have little exposure to international syllabuses.

Padmabil

Close to the Khowai River, with seasonal flooding that sometimes disrupts roads; online lessons are unaffected.

Ramchandraghat

A border-area locality with a mix of government and trading families and a strong sense of community.

Chebri

A quieter district locality whose students tend to travel to Khowai town or Agartala for coaching.

School ecosystem

IB and Cambridge school communities we support in Khowai

Local: Khowai and Tripura

The IB and Cambridge directories list nothing in Khowai or the rest of Tripura, so this entry is left empty on purpose. Local schools run TBSE, CBSE or ICSE courses.

    Nearby: Guwahati

The closest city with confirmed Cambridge IGCSE schools, usually reached from Agartala by a short flight rather than the long road through Assam.

    • International School Guwahati
    • Sankardeva Gurukul

    Nearby: Kolkata

A long-established centre for IB and IGCSE schooling, reached by flight from Agartala, and a boarding destination some northeastern families choose.

    • The Heritage School, Kolkata
    • Calcutta International School

The school names here are signposts, not partners. They show where Tripura families tend to look when only a confirmed IB or Cambridge classroom will do. IB Gram is independent of every school mentioned and of the IB, Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel, and nothing here implies endorsement.

    How matching works

From first enquiry to a tutor who fits

    1. 01

      Say what is being studied

Send the board, subject, level and exam sitting over WhatsApp or email, mentioning whatever feels hardest.

    2. 02

      Review the tutor proposal

You receive the name of a tutor who has taught that course, plus a few evening times in IST.

    3. 03

      Sit the trial lesson

Log in from your study table, work a real problem together and decide if the style suits.

    4. 04

      Get it in writing

Weekly timing and the fee are put on paper before the trial becomes a firm booking.

    5. 05

      Continue and review

Lessons run weekly, notes follow each one, reviews come regularly, and the tutor can change if needed.

    Why families choose us

What Khowai parents tell us matters most

    Matched on the syllabus

The tutor is picked for the precise code and tier, so a Khowai student is not limited to whoever lives nearby.

    Open about Tripura

We state that no IB or IGCSE school could be confirmed in the state and name only what can be verified.

    Fits the district's weather

Evenings avoid the heaviest downpours, and festival weeks are planned in rather than missed.

    Notes for parents

A note after each session lets parents follow progress without attending.

    Coaching only

Tutors explain and mark. The Internal Assessment, Extended Essay and TOK essay are always the student's own.

    Try, then decide

Free first lesson, written rates in advance, and a tutor swap at no charge when the fit is wrong.

    Questions parents ask

IB and IGCSE tutoring in Khowai: your questions answered

Are there IB tutors in Khowai?+

We could not verify anyone teaching IB in person around Khowai, which is why IB Gram works online. A specialist in the exact course, perhaps Chemistry HL or Maths AA SL, takes your child through live one-to-one lessons in IST. The first is free, so you can test the match before spending.

Is home tuition available in Khowai?+

We provide online home tuition: your child sits at home with a laptop and a teacher appears on screen. Nobody travels to a Khowai address, as in-person visits belong to Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. What you gain is a national choice of tutors.

Does Khowai or Tripura have an IB or IGCSE school?+

None is confirmed anywhere in Tripura, so none is listed. Khowai schools run TBSE, CBSE or ICSE. Parents hunting for an IB or IGCSE classroom typically consider Guwahati or Kolkata, and our tutors work alongside whichever school or centre enters your child.

    How is the fee decided?+

The price depends on programme, subject, level and session length, and is sent in writing ahead of booking. Higher Level Diploma courses normally cost above MYP or IGCSE Core. Being in Khowai makes no difference, because there is no travel in an online lesson, and lesson one is free.

Can a TBSE or CBSE student move to IGCSE?+

Yes, generally at Grade 9. Much of the content will feel known, though IGCSE papers prize application and command words that board papers seldom use, and a tutor can build those habits early. The entering school or centre decides between Cambridge and Edexcel.

Which IB subjects do you teach?+

The list covers both Maths courses, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business, English A, Computer Science, Psychology, Environmental Systems, Geography, Bengali B and TOK, at HL or SL where offered. Tell us the course and level and we will confirm a tutor with experience is free.

Will the tutor write my Internal Assessment?+

Never. Explaining criteria and reacting to a student's own draft is fine, but a tutor does not produce or complete any Internal Assessment, Extended Essay, TOK essay or similar assessed piece. This respects the IB and exam board rules and keeps the grade honest.

What if floods or storms cut power or internet?+

Heavy rain between April and October can interrupt power and mobile data around Khowai. Keep the laptop charged and a hotspot ready, and choose an evening slot. A lesson lost to an outage is rebooked, and the summary after each session keeps the plan intact.

Is the internet in Khowai good enough?+

In Khowai town and nearby Teliamura most homes can hold a video call over steady broadband or strong mobile data. Check the signal in the actual study room beforehand. A laptop with a camera suits best; a tablet will manage Maths and sciences on a shared whiteboard.

When do the exams take place?+

May is when Diploma candidates write their papers, with results arriving by early July, and November is available to some. Cambridge IGCSE has two main series each year and Edexcel adds one in winter. Ask the entering school or centre for exact dates.

    How early should we start?+

For the Diploma, April or May of Class 11 is the sweet spot, leaving space for foundations and the internal assessments. For IGCSE, the opening of Grade 10 is ideal. A later start still helps, with the plan narrowed to the highest-scoring topics.

Can you teach Bengali for IGCSE or the IB?+

We do, for IB Bengali B and IGCSE Bengali as a Second Language, covering reading, writing and speaking for learners from Bengali or Kokborok-speaking homes. For another language, send the subject code and we will check for a tutor before arranging a trial.

What if my child does not click with the tutor?+

Tell us after the trial, or later, and a different tutor will be suggested at no extra charge. The free first lesson exists precisely for this. Continuing with a poor match is never required, and lessons can pause or end quickly.

Which universities accept IB and IGCSE students from Tripura?+

Universities across Britain, Canada, Australia and the USA take both. In India, equivalence comes from the Association of Indian Universities, and CUET-UG is the common entry to central universities. Rules change, so read each institution's current policy for IB and IGCSE applicants.
