Role Overview
Noida's international schools sit along the Expressway, and most of the students on this route travel a long way to reach them. Sessions here are therefore later and longer, and the tutor who can hold a 7pm slot reliably is worth far more to these families than one who is cheaper.
Job Description
The core of the work is Extended 0580: algebra, trigonometry, functions and the problem-solving questions at the back of Paper 4 that students run out of time for.
Additional Mathematics is a frequent add-on for students who want AA HL later, and it needs to run ahead of school rather than alongside it.
Several schools here run the October/November series rather than May/June, so the revision calendar has to be set per student rather than assumed.
This is in-person teaching at the student's home. You list the areas you can genuinely reach and we only send you requests inside Sectors 44 to 128, Jaypee Greens, Noida Expressway sectors and the Greater Noida West border. Declining a location, a society or a timing costs you nothing and needs no explanation.
The first month's fee for each new student is split 50-50. That is our one-time charge for finding the family, arranging the demo and setting up the match. From the second month you keep 100% of the fee for as long as you teach that student, which works out at roughly 98% of a two-year engagement. Payouts land on the 1st of each month with an itemised statement.
Responsibilities
- Confirm which exam series the student is sitting before planning any revision.
- Run timed Paper 2 and Paper 4 practice from the second month onwards.
- Teach the Additional Mathematics content ahead of the school timetable where it is taken.
- Plan each session around the student's current school unit rather than a syllabus order of your own.
- Set and publish your own fee, and decline any student who is not a fit.
- Report progress to the family at the review points agreed when the engagement starts.
- Keep agreed session times and give at least 24 hours' notice through IB Gram if a session has to move.
Requirements
- 0580 Extended to full paper standard, with 0606 where the student takes it.
- Timing technique for Paper 4, which is where most of the lost marks actually are.
- Reliable evening access across the Noida Expressway sectors.
- A degree in the subject or a closely related one. Teaching experience counts, but subject knowledge is checked first.
- Verified government ID and at least one credential we can confirm with the issuing institution.
- Two references we can contact, at least one from a school, college or family you have taught.
- Reliable travel to the listed areas at the times you have offered, in real traffic.

- Experience with both the May/June and October/November Cambridge series.
- Experience with the specific school's internal assessment calendar.
- Availability for a longer weekend slot in the eight weeks before mocks.
