Tutoring

IB MYP eAssessment online tutor — India (remote)

Online preparation for MYP Year 5 eAssessment across India: the on-screen examinations, the ePortfolios and the Personal Project.

India (online) Freelance, part time or full time IB MYP Year 5 eAssessment

Role Overview

eAssessment is an on-screen examination with its own interface, timing and question style, and students who have only ever done criterion-based classroom tasks meet it cold. Familiarity with the format is worth as much as content revision here.

Job Description

On-screen examinations have their own navigation and timing constraints that have to be practised, not just read about.

ePortfolio subjects are assessed on process evidence gathered through the year, which cannot be assembled at the end.

The Personal Project runs alongside and needs its own supervision schedule rather than being squeezed in after the exams.

All teaching on this role is online, from your own device and connection. Families expect a shared whiteboard, screen share and written working they can keep afterwards, not a camera pointed at a notebook.

Online classes pay you 70% of the fee every month, with no first-month split and no joining fee. You set the fee, we publish it unchanged, and payouts land on the 1st of each month with an itemised statement.

Responsibilities

  • Run practice under the real on-screen format and timing.
  • Audit ePortfolio evidence months before submission, not weeks.
  • Keep the Personal Project on its own timeline alongside exam preparation.
  • Plan each session around the student's current school unit rather than a syllabus order of your own.
  • Set and publish your own fee, and decline any student who is not a fit.
  • Report progress to the family at the review points agreed when the engagement starts.
  • Teach from a quiet space with a stable connection, and send written working after each session.

Requirements

  • Direct experience of MYP eAssessment, including the on-screen examination format.
  • MYP criteria A to D across at least two subject groups.
  • Personal Project supervision experience.
  • A degree in the subject or a closely related one. Teaching experience counts, but subject knowledge is checked first.
  • Verified government ID and at least one credential we can confirm with the issuing institution.
  • Two references we can contact, at least one from a school, college or family you have taught.
  • A quiet room, a connection that holds a video call, and a device that handles screen share and a writing tablet.

Nice To Have

  • Experience of the MYP to DP transition in a continuum school.
  • Experience with the specific school's internal assessment calendar.
  • Availability for a longer weekend slot in the eight weeks before mocks.

Benefits

  • You set your own fee and we publish it unchanged, so there is no negotiation after you have taught.
  • Students are matched to you by programme, subject and level before you accept.
  • No joining fee, no subscription and no exclusivity - teach elsewhere as well.
  • Monthly payouts on the 1st with an itemised statement.
  • Teach from anywhere, in the hours you have told us you are available.
