IGCSE Thai Tutoring for First-Language Candidates

Almost nobody arrives here looking for beginner Thai. The families who search for IGCSE Thai tutors usually have a child who chats at home in Thai without a second thought, then hands in a composition that comes back covered in red because the spelling is guesswork, the register belongs to a conversation rather than an essay, and the reading paper ran out of time before the last passage. That is the normal shape of a first-language candidate schooled mainly in English since Year 1. IB Gram matches Grade 9 to Grade 11 students with tutors who teach Thai as a written subject with rules that can be stated out loud, not as something a native speaker is simply supposed to feel.

Matching

How a Thai Tutor Gets Matched to Your Child

Matching begins with a question most families do not expect: is your child entered for Cambridge 0518, the first-language route, or for a school-designed Thai course that sits outside Cambridge altogether? Both exist inside the same building, sometimes in the same timetable slot, and they need different tutors. So IB Gram asks for the code on the school's course outline, the grade, roughly how many Thai periods a week the timetable actually gives, and the specific event that prompted the search: a composition marked down for spelling, a reading paper the student could not finish, a mock result nobody at home saw coming. Two or three tutors then come back with their real background. Who has marked first-language Thai writing rather than beginner exercises. Who can teach the consonant-class spelling rules explicitly, step by step, instead of saying a word simply looks wrong. Who has worked with students whose thinking happens in English. The trial lesson is free and diagnostic: the tutor asks for a piece of the student's own handwritten Thai and one recent reading task, then works through both, separating a misreading from a mis-spelling from a slip of register. Those three failures look identical on a marked script and need completely unrelated work. A written note goes out after every session saying what was practised and what to do before the next one. Fees depend on the tutor's seniority, the grade and how often you meet, and the rate for a named tutor is put in writing before anything is booked. A tutor who is not right for the student is swapped, not defended.

Send the code from the course outline: Cambridge 0518 is the first-language Thai route

Say how many Thai periods a week the timetable really gives — it is often two

Bring one handwritten composition and one reading task to the free trial

Written note after each session; the rate for a named tutor arrives in writing first

Wrong fit means a different tutor, not a lecture about persistence

Boards and tiers

Grade 9, Grade 10 and Grade 11 Thai Need Different Work

In Grade 9 the useful work is foundations, and it is duller than parents expect. Reading aloud and silently against a clock. Spelling lists built by consonant class rather than by topic. Handwriting, which matters more than it sounds: Thai letters are distinguished by small loops and short strokes, and a marker who cannot tell two letters apart marks what is on the page rather than what was intended. Rebuilding legible handwriting is far easier at fourteen than at sixteen. Grade 10 is where the register ladder gets climbed. Students start producing argumentative and descriptive pieces of real length, and the gap between how they talk and how the paper wants them to write becomes obvious. This is the year to learn the formal written first person, to strip speech particles out of drafts, to build the Pali and Sanskrit derived vocabulary that serious Thai prose runs on, and to read enough long-form Thai that sentence rhythm starts to come from reading rather than from conversation. Grade 11 is exam craft. Timed reading with the last passage deliberately attempted first, so it never gets sacrificed again. Composition planning inside strict minutes. A personal error list drawn from marked scripts, usually six or seven recurring spellings and one or two habits of register, revisited every week until they stop appearing. Students transferring in from a Thai-medium school or from a different curriculum get a bridging plan before any of this.

Grade 9: decoding speed, rule-based spelling, legible handwriting while it is still cheap to fix

Grade 10: formal register, longer compositions, wider reading in Thai

Grade 11: timed papers, planning under the clock, a personal error list that shrinks

Transfers from Thai-medium schooling or another curriculum start with a bridging plan

Students who have lived abroad for years often need Grade 9 work in Grade 11, and that is fine

What Cambridge IGCSE Thai 0518 Actually Covers

0518 is Cambridge IGCSE Thai as a first language, and the catalog entry on this site lists exactly one code for the subject for that reason. It is a language syllabus rather than a fixed-set-text literature syllabus: the assessment measures reading and writing skill in Thai, and schools choose the passages, novels and wider reading they use to build that skill. If someone tells you there is a national list of prescribed Thai texts for IGCSE, ask your school to show you the syllabus page, because what is studied genuinely varies from one international school to the next. Assessment is by written examination in Thai, and dictionaries are not permitted. In recent series the structure has been a reading and directed-writing paper, built around a fiction passage with comprehension and use-of-language questions plus linked non-fiction passages, and a separate composition paper offering argumentative or discursive writing and descriptive or narrative writing. Timings, mark weightings and the exact shape of the tasks are reviewed by the board across syllabus cycles, so confirm the current version with your school or with Cambridge International directly before building a revision plan around it. What matters for tutoring is that both halves are demanding in different ways. The reading paper is a speed and precision test. The composition paper is a register and control test. Very few students are equally weak at both, and a tutor who diagnoses which one is actually costing marks saves a term of undirected effort.

Code 0518: Cambridge IGCSE Thai as a first language, examined in Thai

A reading and directed-writing paper plus a composition paper, in recent series

No dictionaries in the examination, so vocabulary has to be secure beforehand

No national set-text list — schools choose their own texts, so ask yours

Local coverage

Where IGCSE Thai Students Are Actually Sitting

The cohort is concentrated, and it is worth being straightforward about it. Most 0518 candidates are in Thailand's international schools: the Bangkok clusters along Sukhumvit and Sathorn, out towards Bang Na, and the Nichada and Pak Kret side of the river, plus Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya and Hua Hin. Add Thai families posted abroad who want their children to keep the language on paper as well as in speech, most often in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and across the Gulf in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Muscat. A smaller group sits in the UK and Europe, frequently at boarding schools where Thai is taken as an additional subject with little or no timetabled teaching. India is a small part of this picture, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. A handful of international schools in Indian cities enter students for less common language codes, so it happens, but Thai is not a dense Indian market in the way that Mathematics or Economics is. If you are in Gurugram, Bangalore or Mumbai and your child takes Thai, say so and we will tell you honestly whether a home tutor is realistic in that city or whether online is the sensible route. For everybody else the answer is the same and it is not evasive: online, worldwide, in your own time zone, scheduled around the school week rather than around ours.

School ecosystem

Working With Your School's Thai Department, Not Around It

The school owns the course. It chooses the texts, sets the internal assessment calendar and enters the candidates, and a tutor who ignores all that produces a student who is well taught and badly prepared. So the first thing a tutor asks for is the department's scheme of work, the list of texts in use this year and the dates of the next two internal assessments. Sessions are then built backwards from those dates rather than from a generic topic sequence. In Thailand there is an extra layer. Thai nationals in international schools are generally required to study Thai language and culture, and schools differ a great deal in how much timetable they give it and how the requirement interacts with a Cambridge entry. Ask your school directly how the two fit together, because the answer changes what tutoring should prioritise. One line that is not negotiable: tutors coach. They do not write, complete, part-write or tidy up any piece of work that is going to be assessed. If the school sets a portfolio piece, a controlled composition or an internal essay, the tutor works on planning, on model examples that are not the student's task, and on feedback after a draft the student wrote themselves. Families occasionally ask for more than that. The answer is no, and it is better to say so in the first week than in the last.

Send the scheme of work, the current text list and the next two assessment dates

In Thailand, ask how the school's Thai requirement fits alongside a Cambridge entry

Tutors never write or co-write assessed compositions, portfolios or internal essays

Feedback comes after a draft the student produced, not instead of one

Where school marking and the tutor disagree, the school's scheme wins and gets explained

Modes

Online, Home or Hybrid for IGCSE Thai

For this subject the honest answer is that nearly every student will be online, and that is not a compromise. IB Gram's tutors are based in India. Outside India, tutoring is online only. Home tutoring is offered in India alone, and only in cities where a tutor happens to be available. Since the Thai cohort is overwhelmingly in Thailand and in Thai families living elsewhere in Asia and the Gulf, the practical position is simple: online worldwide, in your own time zone, with no branch, centre or campus anywhere. Online suits Thai better than it suits a laboratory subject. Reading passages, marked scripts, spelling work and composition feedback all live on a screen quite naturally, and a shared annotated document is easier to read than a tutor's handwriting upside down across a table. Time zones are kind here too: Bangkok is only an hour and a half ahead of Indian time, so a weekday evening slot in Thailand falls in a normal working evening for the tutor, which means genuine choice of times rather than whatever is left. The one real loss is handwriting. The examination is handwritten and a screen encourages typing, so sessions are built to counteract that. Students write on paper, photograph the page and send it before the lesson, and the tutor marks the actual handwriting, including legibility, spacing and the small loops that distinguish one letter from another.

Online worldwide in your own time zone; tutors are based in India

Home tutoring exists only in India, and only where a tutor is currently free

Bangkok is an hour and a half ahead of India, so evening slots are easy to fill

Handwritten work is photographed and sent before the session, then marked as handwriting

Hybrid only realistically applies to families living in an Indian city with a Thai tutor nearby

Compare

One-to-One Thai Tutoring Compared With the Alternatives

Families choosing support for 0518 are usually weighing four options: a one-to-one tutor, a weekend or after-school Thai language class, a recorded course or language app, and whatever extra help the school's own Thai department can offer. These are categories rather than named providers, and the differences that matter for a first-language paper are about whose writing gets marked and how specifically.

Verification

What Is Checked Before a Thai Tutor Is Matched?

Four things, and none of them is a certificate scan alone. First, written command of formal Thai, evidenced by writing produced on request rather than described on a profile. A tutor who speaks beautifully and writes with the same spelling uncertainty as the student is no use on a first-language paper. Second, the ability to explain rules rather than judge by ear. A candidate tutor is asked to explain, out loud, how the consonant class of an initial letter combines with a tone mark and with vowel length to fix the tone of a syllable, and to say why a particular spelling is right when a homophone exists. Native fluency without that explicit knowledge produces lessons that consist of corrections with no transferable reasoning behind them. Third, marking judgement at first-language standard. Tutors are asked to mark a sample composition and justify the marks, which quickly separates people who can teach 0518 from people who teach beginner Thai very well. Fourth, practical fitness for the way these lessons actually run: Thai typing, annotating Thai text on screen at a size where stacked vowels and tone marks stay readable, and the discipline of collecting handwritten work by photograph. Identity, teaching history and references are verified separately, and every tutor is briefed on the safeguarding and no-ghostwriting rules before a first session.

Formal written Thai demonstrated in writing, not asserted on a profile

Consonant-class and tone rules explained explicitly, as a teachable system

A sample composition marked and justified at first-language standard

Comfortable annotating Thai on screen and collecting handwritten work by photo

Identity, teaching history, references and a safeguarding briefing before any lesson

Why Does a Fluent Thai Speaker Still Lose Marks on 0518?

Because 0518 is not a test of whether your child can speak Thai. It is a test of reading dense written Thai at speed and producing formal written Thai accurately, and those two abilities are built at school, not at the dinner table. A student who has done every other subject in English since Year 1 has spent perhaps two periods a week reading anything long in Thai. The result is a predictable profile. Comprehension is fine on content but slow on decoding, so the last passage gets rushed. Spelling is phonetic rather than correct, because the child learned the words by ear and Thai has several letters for the same sound. Sentence-final particles from speech leak into a discursive essay. Pronoun choice sits at the level a teenager uses with friends rather than the formal written first person a Cambridge composition expects. Vocabulary is everyday where the task wants the Pali and Sanskrit derived register that Thai reaches for in serious writing. None of that is a sign of a weak student, and it is not fixed by more conversation. It is fixed by explicit work: spelling drilled by rule, reading practised against a clock, register taught as a set of choices a writer makes deliberately. Most families are surprised how quickly the composition mark moves once the child is told the rules rather than left to intuit them.

Fluency at home says almost nothing about written accuracy under exam conditions

Speech particles and casual pronouns are the most common register error in composition

Slow decoding, not weak comprehension, is usually what costs the final reading passage

Everyday vocabulary where the task wants formal written Thai reads as thin, not wrong

Two lessons a week in an English-medium school is rarely enough exposure on its own

Consonant Classes, Tone Marks and Why Thai Spelling Is Genuinely Hard

Thai spelling defeats native speakers for a structural reason, and it is worth understanding before you assume your child is careless. The forty-four consonant letters are sorted into three classes, high, mid and low, and the tone of a syllable is not written directly anywhere. It is calculated from four things at once: the class of the initial consonant, whether the syllable is live or dead, the length of the vowel, and which of the four tone marks is present, if any. The consequence is that the same tone mark does different jobs on different letters. Mai tho on a mid-class consonant gives a falling tone; the same mark on a low-class consonant gives a high tone. A student who writes by ear picks whichever letter sounds right and gets the tone wrong, or picks the right sound with the wrong class and has to change the tone mark to compensate. Thai also has several letters for one sound, so choosing between them is simultaneously a spelling decision and a tone decision. On top of that sit the leading ho that raises a low-class consonant into high-class behaviour, and the silent-letter mark that appears across Pali and Sanskrit loanwords, which is precisely the vocabulary formal writing depends on. This is learnable and it is rule-governed. It is not learnable by writing more essays and hoping.

High, mid and low consonant classes are the hidden variable behind every tone

One tone mark, different tones: the class of the initial letter decides the outcome

Live and dead syllables plus vowel length change the answer again

Several letters for the same sound make spelling and tone a single decision

Silent letters in Pali and Sanskrit loanwords sit right where formal vocabulary lives

Reading Thai Without Spaces: What the Reading Paper Really Tests

Thai is written without spaces between words. Spaces exist, but they mark the end of a clause or a sentence, not the edge of a word, so a reader meets an unbroken run of letters and has to decide where each word begins. Strong readers do this without noticing. Readers who get most of their Thai from speech do it slowly, and a slow reader in a two-hour paper meets the last passage with ten minutes left. Segmentation also creates real ambiguity. A run of letters can often be cut in more than one place, producing two grammatical readings, and only the surrounding sense settles it. That is a skill worth naming and practising, because a student who mis-segments one phrase in a comprehension question can answer confidently and completely wrongly. The vowels add a second layer. Thai vowel symbols are written before the consonant, after it, above it, below it, and in several cases wrapped around it, so the order in which letters sit on the page is not the order in which the syllable is pronounced. The eye has to take in a cluster and resolve it, rather than reading strictly left to right. Tutoring here is timed, mechanical and unglamorous: read a passage, mark the word boundaries, check against the tutor's version, do it again faster.

No spaces between words — the reader segments the line, and that can be practised

Spaces mark clause and sentence breaks, which is a different signal entirely

One letter string can often be cut two ways, so context decides the reading

Vowels sit before, after, above, below and around the consonant they follow

Timed segmentation drills usually move reading marks faster than more vocabulary

Markers Instead of Tenses, Classifiers, and the Register Ladder

Thai verbs do not inflect. There is no past tense ending, no agreement with a subject, no plural marking on nouns and no articles. Time is carried instead by markers and by time expressions, so a sentence is placed in the past by a completion marker or simply by saying when it happened. For a student writing a narrative composition, this is where control shows: the timeline has to be held by deliberate choices, because the verb will not do it for you. Counting needs classifiers. A noun, a number and the right classifier for that kind of thing, with a large inventory to learn and several that are idiosyncratic. Written work with the wrong classifier reads the way an English essay reads with the wrong preposition: understandable, and clearly not by a careful writer. Then there is register, which is where most marks move. Everyday spoken Thai, formal written Thai with its Pali and Sanskrit vocabulary, literary and poetic Thai, the vocabulary used for monks, and royal language, a separate set of nouns and verbs used when writing or speaking about the monarchy. Royal language appears in news reporting, ceremonial writing and classical literature, so a candidate meets it in reading even if they never produce it. Tutors teach it accurately and treat it with the seriousness it carries in Thailand, staying with the language conventions and the text rather than straying into commentary.

No verb inflection: markers and time expressions carry tense in written narrative

Classifiers are compulsory when counting and are noticed when they are wrong

Everyday, formal written, literary, monastic and royal registers are distinct systems

Royal vocabulary is taught factually and respectfully, because reading demands it

Pronoun choice signals register before the argument is even read

What You Should Be Able to See by Week Four

Nobody can promise a grade, and anybody who does is selling something. What you can reasonably expect after four sessions is evidence, and it should be visible without asking for a report. You should have four written notes, each naming what was worked on and what was set. You should be able to look at a piece of the student's handwritten Thai from week one and a piece from week four and see the difference, most obviously in the spellings that were on the error list and in whether speech particles have stopped appearing in formal writing. You should know the student's timed reading position: how long a full passage takes now against how long it took at the start. And your child should be able to tell you a rule, in their own words, about why a particular word is spelled the way it is, because that is the difference between being corrected and being taught. What you will not see by week four is a transformed examination grade, and a tutor who implies one is not being straight with you. Written Thai accuracy moves steadily rather than dramatically. If none of the evidence above exists after four weeks, that is a reason to change tutor, and IB Gram would rather do that than have you quietly stop replying.

Four written session notes you did not have to ask for

Week one and week four handwriting side by side, with the error list visibly shorter

A timed reading figure that has moved, measured the same way both times

The student able to state a spelling or tone rule unprompted

No grade promises from anyone, at any point

Starting This Week

The quickest start is one message with four things in it. The syllabus code from the school's course outline, which for the first-language route is 0518. The student's grade. Your city and time zone. And a photograph of one recent piece of marked Thai writing, ideally handwritten, red pen and all. That last item does more than a paragraph of description, because a marked script shows immediately whether the problem is decoding, spelling, register or timing. From there you will get two or three tutor options with their actual background in first-language Thai, and the rate for each in writing before anything is committed. The first lesson is a free trial and it is diagnostic, so you are not paying to find out whether the match works. After it, you get a written note with the diagnosis, not a sales call. If you are not sure whether your child is even on the Cambridge route, send the course outline anyway and we will read it. If the answer turns out to be that your school teaches a Thai course outside Cambridge entirely, we will say so rather than quietly tutoring the wrong thing. Email ibgram24@gmail.com, or message +91 7439 368 115 on WhatsApp, whichever is easier at your end of the day.

Message the code, the grade, your city and time zone, and one marked piece of writing

FAQs

IGCSE tutoring FAQs

Is Cambridge IGCSE Thai 0518 a first-language qualification?+

Yes. The catalog entry for this subject lists 0518, and that is Cambridge IGCSE Thai as a first language, designed for candidates whose first language is Thai. It assumes fluency and tests reading and writing at a native standard, which is why the examination is answered entirely in Thai and dictionaries are not allowed. If your child is a beginner or a second-language learner, 0518 is very unlikely to be the right entry, and the school should be able to tell you what else they offer instead.

My child speaks Thai perfectly at home. Do we really need a tutor?+

Speaking fluently and writing accurately are separate skills, and 0518 only examines the second one. Children educated in English from Year 1 usually read Thai slowly, spell by ear, and write in the register they use with their family rather than the formal written register a Cambridge composition expects. None of that shows in conversation. It shows the first time a long composition comes back marked. A tutor's job here is not to teach Thai but to teach written Thai, explicitly and by rule.

How is IGCSE Thai 0518 assessed?+

By written examination in Thai, with no dictionaries permitted. In recent series the assessment has consisted of a reading and directed-writing paper built around a fiction passage and linked non-fiction passages, and a separate composition paper offering argumentative or discursive and descriptive or narrative tasks. Timings, mark allocations and task wording are reviewed across syllabus cycles, so check the version your child is actually entered for with the school or with Cambridge International before you plan revision around any specific structure.

Are there set texts for IGCSE Thai?+

There is no single national reading list attached to this syllabus in the way a literature course has prescribed texts. 0518 assesses reading and writing skill, and schools choose the passages, novels, short stories and classical works they use to develop it, which is why two international schools in the same city can teach it quite differently. Ask your school's Thai department for its current text list. A tutor will then work with those texts rather than substituting a different set.

Why is Thai spelling difficult even for native speakers?+

Because tone is not written directly. It is worked out from the class of the initial consonant, whether the syllable is live or dead, the vowel length and which tone mark appears. Thai also has several different letters for the same sound, so choosing a letter is simultaneously a spelling and a tone decision, and silent letters run through the Pali and Sanskrit vocabulary that formal writing depends on. A child who learned words by ear has no way to guess reliably. The rules can be taught.

What does word segmentation mean and why does it matter in the exam?+

Thai is written without spaces between words, so a reader receives an unbroken run of letters and decides where each word ends. Spaces in Thai mark clause and sentence breaks instead. Fluent readers segment automatically; students whose Thai comes mainly from speech do it slowly, which is why the final passage of a long reading paper so often gets rushed. Worse, a string can sometimes be cut two ways, producing a confident but completely wrong answer. Timed segmentation practice fixes both problems.

Will the tutor teach royal language, or ราชาศัพท์?+

Where the student's reading requires it, yes, and it is taught factually and with the seriousness it carries in Thailand. Royal vocabulary is a distinct set of nouns and verbs used in writing and speech about the monarchy, and it appears in news reporting, ceremonial writing and classical literature, so a candidate can meet it in a reading passage without ever needing to produce it. Tutors stay with the language conventions and the text, and do not stray into political commentary.

How much does an IGCSE Thai tutor cost?+

There is no published price list, because there is no single rate. The fee depends on the tutor's experience and seniority, the student's grade, and how often you meet, and a Grade 11 candidate preparing timed papers is a different job from Grade 9 foundation work. Once you have tutor options, the rate for each named tutor is sent to you in writing before anything is booked, so you compare real figures rather than a range. Ask for it upfront.

Is home tutoring available in Bangkok or anywhere in Thailand?+

No. IB Gram's tutors are based in India, and outside India all tutoring is online. Home tutoring is offered only within India, and only in cities where a tutor is currently available, so it is never guaranteed even there. There is no branch, centre or campus in Thailand or anywhere else. For practical purposes that means almost every Thai student works online, worldwide, in their own time zone, which suits a reading and writing subject well.

Can online lessons really work for handwriting and spelling?+

They work provided the lesson is built for it. The examination is handwritten, so students write on paper, photograph the page and send it before the session, and the tutor marks the actual handwriting including legibility, letter loops and spacing. Reading passages, marked scripts and composition feedback are shared and annotated on screen at a font size where stacked vowels and tone marks stay readable. What does not work is a lesson where everything is typed, so we do not run them that way.

What time slots work for a family in Bangkok, Singapore or Dubai?+

Thailand runs an hour and a half ahead of Indian time, so a weekday evening lesson in Bangkok lands in a normal working evening for a tutor in India. Singapore and Hong Kong are two and a half hours ahead and work the same way. Gulf cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha are behind Indian time, which makes late afternoon straightforward. Sessions are always scheduled in your own time zone and written down as your local time.

My child gets only two Thai periods a week. Is that enough for 0518?+

It is often not enough on its own, and that is the single most common reason families reach us. Two periods a week in an otherwise English-medium school gives very little sustained reading in Thai and very few marked compositions across a year. The school is usually doing what the timetable allows. Tutoring adds the volume that a first-language paper assumes: regular long-form reading, more written work actually marked, and explicit spelling and register teaching.

Do you cover Edexcel or other boards for Thai?+

IB Gram covers Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE across subjects generally, but the first-language Thai route families almost always take is the Cambridge one, code 0518. If your school enters students for a different Thai qualification, or teaches a school-designed Thai course outside any international board, send the course outline and we will read it before suggesting a tutor. Getting this wrong wastes a term, so it is worth two minutes of checking at the start.

Can the tutor help with school assignments or a coursework piece?+

Tutors coach, and they do not write, complete or co-author any work that will be assessed. For a school essay or portfolio piece that means help with planning, worked examples on a different topic, teaching the technique the task needs, and feedback on a draft the student has written themselves. It does not mean drafting, rewriting or tidying up the submission. This is stated to every tutor before their first session and it is not negotiable afterwards.

What happens if the tutor is not the right fit?+

Tell us and we change the tutor. Fit matters unusually much in a language subject, because a student who is embarrassed about their spelling will not write freely in front of someone they have not warmed to, and the lessons quietly stop being useful. The first lesson is a free trial partly for this reason. If it is wrong after one or two sessions, say so early rather than persisting out of politeness, and a different tutor is suggested.

Is IB Gram affiliated with Cambridge International?+

No. IB Gram is an independent tutoring platform with no affiliation to, endorsement from or partnership with Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, Oxford AQA or the IB Organization. The code 0518 is named only to describe accurately which qualification tutoring is aimed at. The awarding body remains the sole authority on syllabus content, entry rules, permitted materials and assessment, so confirm current details with your school or directly with the board rather than relying on any tutoring site, including this one.

Ready to plan IGCSE support?

If a marked composition, a reading paper that ran out of time or a first-language entry decision is what brought you here, send four things: the code from the course outline, the grade, your city and time zone, and a photograph of one recent piece of marked Thai writing. You will get two or three tutor options with their real background in written Thai and each rate in writing, a free trial lesson that is diagnostic rather than a sample lecture, and a written note afterwards saying what the tutor actually found.
