Priya Vivek

Priya Vivek brings together classroom teaching, personalised tutoring, and advanced academic training in Mathematics across a career spanning more than a decade. Her school-teaching experience includes a role as Primary Teacher at Adani Vidyalaya from 2018 to 2020, where she taught Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational Thinking and Coding, introduced students to Scratch and Python basics, and managed both the Math Lab and Computer Lab, followed by a role as Assistant Teacher at Marigold Public School from 2016 to 2017, teaching Mathematics, including advanced content, to students from Grades 7 to 12. Since 2021, she has focused on private Mathematics and Computer Science tutoring for students in Grades 7 to 10, identifying learning gaps and building tailored, curriculum-aligned lesson plans around each student's needs. Her M.Tech in Industrial Mathematics and Computer Applications from Jamia Millia Islamia, completed with a CGPA of 8.27 out of 10, and her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from Miranda House, University of Delhi, give her the mathematical depth to support students moving into higher-level and application-based Mathematics with confidence. She teaches through an Understand, Practise, Apply, Improve framework, prioritising conceptual clarity before advanced application, developing problem-solving and logical thinking, adapting pace and examples to each student individually, building exam readiness through accuracy and time-management skills, and using error analysis to convert recurring mistakes into targeted learning goals. She is available for both online and in-person sessions, in one-to-one or small-group formats, making her well suited to students needing structured, examination-focused Mathematics support across MYP, DP, or IGCSE.
