Ayushi Godara

Ayushi brings over four years of dedicated IB teaching experience to her work as an English Language and Literature facilitator, currently serving at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul, an IB World School in Pune, where she teaches both English A and English B across the MYP and DP, facilitates Theory of Knowledge sessions, supervises Extended Essays from research design through academic writing and citation practice, supports CAS planning and documentation, and guides MYP Personal Projects from goal setting to final submission, all while serving as a DP2 Homeroom Teacher providing academic and pastoral guidance. Before this, she held a similar IB MYP/DP English Language and Literature role at Victorious Kidss Educares, teaching IBDP 1 and 2 alongside MYP 3, 4, and 5, and working as an MYP 5 Homeroom Teacher and Personal Project Supervisor while designing IB-aligned unit planners and assessments. Her curriculum exposure extends beyond the IB as well, having taught A-Levels under Cambridge curriculum standards as a Secondary English Teacher at CP Goenka International School, and she has additional classroom experience teaching English theatre, improvisation, and speech modulation to students from Grades 1 to 10 as a Speech and Drama Teacher at Vibgyor Group of Schools. Academically, she holds a Master's in English Literature from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, a Bachelor of Education in English and History from MIT World Peace University, and a Bachelor's degree with Honours in English Literature from The IIS University, Jaipur, alongside diplomas in Mass Communication, Journalism, and Video Production. She holds IB certification in English A: Language and Literature (Category 2) and has participated in SAIBSA Job Alike sessions covering English Language and Literature, TOK, and Extended Essay. Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Punjabi, she describes herself as an aspiring Head of English with particular strength in curriculum leadership, vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment, assessment literacy and moderation, and faculty mentoring, making her a strong fit for students who need structured, exam-focused support across the IB English curriculum or Cambridge A-Level English.
